Visibility and size are what I need. 4WD, clearance for snow. Rather tight interior, not suitable for more than two. Auto Park is very confusing. Not auto parallel Park. Car will stop while backing out of parking space, won't move if a somewhat complex procedure is not followed.

2023 Porsche Macan review
I absolutely love the way this car drives. You almost forget it is an SUV. Interior amenities and technology are lacking compared to comparable vehicles. There is a lack of good storage in the cabin. The options a pricy as in the Porsche tradition. You forget these things once you start driving. Since I got it, I figured a way out to make my commute an additional 5 miles each way. My purchase experience with Redwood City Porsche was a joy thanks to my sales associate Sam Pham. I always look forward to my next drive!

2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E review
I recently purchased a 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT, and it delivers exactly what I was looking for—performance, style, and modern innovation in one package. The acceleration is immediate and strong. The instant torque gives it a powerful launch, and the responsiveness makes every drive feel engaging. Whether merging onto the highway or navigating city streets, the Mach-E feels quick, controlled, and confident. Handling is solid, and the ride is smooth without sacrificing that sporty feel. It carries the Mustang character well, just in an electric form. The design also stands out—especially in classic Mustang blue—with a bold, athletic presence that turns heads. Inside, the technology is a major upgrade. The infotainment system is clean and intuitive, and the cabin feels modern and comfortable with premium touches throughout. I’ve driven other EVs like the Tesla Model S Plaid, Rivian R1T, and Nissan Leaf, and each has its strengths, but the Mach-E strikes the best balance between performance and everyday usability. Range has been reliable for my needs, and I’m already seeing savings compared to gas. Like any EV, charging takes some planning for longer trips, but it becomes second nature quickly. I had purchased a couple of cars from Costa Mesa Autonation before. On Memorial Day, numerous Honda dealerships were have a promo. Naturally I picked the lowest advertisement and contacted them. I dealt with the numbers over the phone and once agreed, then I proceeded down to the dealership. Guess what ? Bait and switch. I scolded the sales rep and the finance mgr and left. Buena Park Honda, get a life ! Then I called Costa Mesa Honda. Again dealt the numbers over the phone. A mgr calls me and said I will received what was negotiated on the phone. I proceeded down to the dealership. I did not get the advertised deal. I got an even better one ! Peter was my sales rep. Greg was the finance rep. Awesome dudes to work with. Advice to consumers out there. Just go to Costa Mesa Honda and save yourself the trouble. Check out their prices online first. Very transparent. No games !
2017 Ford Escape review
This vehicle has been awesome from the day I first started driving it. Great on gas, engine is very responsive and reliable. A/C is very cold and the starts so nicely every time. The engine has all the power you would ever need. This one is a 2.0 Turbo. I have kept this car serviced regularly and it has performed flawlessly.

2021 Mazda CX-5 review
The only issue I have had was the code P0126 having to do with the thermostat. This is common for this car. I was 170 miles from home when it happened. I talked to a Mazda dealer and they said I could drive it home, which I did and made an appointment with the dealer to have it fixed. It has not happened again. I am very happy with this car!

2025 Lexus NX 450h+ review
Probably the best car we've owned in 60+years. The plug in hybrid model is perfect for our needs, getting 39 miles range on the electric mode fits our driving needs 80-90% of the time. When we do a highway trip, the hybrid mode kicks in and gets up. 45+mpg. All in a safe, reliable, somewhat luxurious ride. Biggest peeve is the xxxx electronics screen--- a thousand little options I'll Never use, but change the clock?! or get rid of that stupid "drive connect" app screen?? After a YEAR of trying to ignore it, still pops up as the default screen. Just want the map on as the default, and even though I think I have the green on toggle for automatic Daylight Savings clock, have one time on the map screen and one hour different on the central control panel screen, what gives?? Way too many jujube diddly squat choices for useless stuff. back to KISS a bit would be a plus.
