2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
I've been driving for 43 years now and have owned an array of different vehicles, however I've never been financially fortunate to purchase a luxury model - until now! I was looking for a mid size vehicle that would check many boxes for my snowy Michigan commutes, along with distant travel comfort to and from my cabin and some towing capacity. I have only had this for roughly 1500 miles and wow.. My first impression was luxury. So many base options included in a mid sized and mid priced SUV that pleasantly surprised me. Secondly was the ride quality. Both smooth and quiet and handling. I've read other reviews discussing power inadequacy, but not at all. Plenty of passing and get tup to speed power. Next was the snow. I have Michelin defender tires and wow - what have I been missing? The snow 4x4 duaratac features combined with these tires make this a beast in the snow, slush and rain. It definitely gives me a much more safety reassurance while driving in these conditions. I have not tried the towing yet and have not had any "reliable" issues to report, but we are very fortunate with our pick and one very capable snow commuter.

2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
2017 GC Limited 4WD. Bought it 3 years ago with 53k miles and now approaching 108k miles. When we bought it, we went to fill the tank for the first time and the gas pump kept shutting off. Turns out there was a known issue with the fuel filler neck assembly. The selling dealer replaced it under warranty and we literally didn't have another issue until 100k miles. At 100k miles took it in for new spark plugs, which is normal maintenance, and found the radiator leaking. The new radiator was not cheap. Have not had any other issues, just replaced the factory original brakes, they made it almost to 108k! We live in Minnesota and this vehicle is an absolute beast in the snow. Put it in snow mode and it is very stable and feels unstoppable. It is a comfortable long distance cruiser and gets decent mileage on the highway, between 24-27mpg. The UConnect system is very easy to use, and the nav is pretty good, but the whole system operates quite slowly. That's a minor complaint I think. Overall we are pretty happy with our WK2.

2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
I've owned this for 6+ years. Only 18,300 miles. So, not what I expected when I bought it. I anticipated driving to many hot air balloon events across the country. But, then COVID and work from home. Now retired. No need to drive a lot. I've ensured that all maintenance is done as needed (maybe more often than needed). Other than a minor parking lot ding (not even a note apologizing), it's pristine. Side note: my dealership really wants this as a trade-in. But, I'm not seeing the advantage.

2020 Volkswagen Tiguan review
This car is far superior to my previous 2021 Toyota RA4. In my distant youth I use to do some racing and handling is highest priority. Suspension, steering, 17" alloy wheels vs 15" steel wheels with hubcaps, full spare tire vs doughnut, 3 row seating vs 2 rows, 400 lbs heavier therefore more stable in windy conditions and roads that are not level, and much more. Only downside is the general Volkswagen issue with poor sound systems. Not only that, the after market is almost non-existent for the Tiguan.

2023 Nissan Rogue review

2025 Nissan Rogue review
This my 4th Nissan Rogue, and it's the only car I'll buy. I have NEVER had any problems with it, or any that I have owned. I have taken trips across country with it, with great gas mileage and comfortable to drive. It handles well, has plenty of get up and go, easy on the wallet, and very reliable.

2016 Kia Sorento review
I can’t say enough good things about this car!I bought it in 2020 with 45k miles and it was used for two and a half years to get me to school in another town 45-70 miles away, and it kept me safe and performed as good as I could ever ask for. The safety features are the cherry on top and saved me multiple times when merging into other lanes. It has all the bells and whistles- under glow lights, led lights in the front row, Bluetooth connection, and so much more. The car is spacious and has allowed me to drive with multiple people In the car comfortably. The back trunk contains so much space even with the third row seats up. The only issue I have ever had with this vehicle is around 100k miles, the gear shift locked. However, this never affected me and this is something that never needs to be fixed if it doesn’t drive you crazy, and the solution of depressing the gear lock to unlock it while you drive is a simple fix. Overall, this car has been very reliable even at over 110k miles and gives a luxury feel in an affordable vehicle. My favorite car. STOP THE KIA SLANDER!!

2019 Mitsubishi Outlander review
I have owned my Mitsubishi Outlander since 2018 and all I’ve done was buy a battery, tires and brakes and she still gets 35 miles per gallon on gas. I’m afraid to touch it under the hood and only lifted it for window washer fluid and oil changes. I totally love this car. I will buy another one but it will be a 2019 and P.S. I can hold 4 35X12.50X 20LT tires when back seats are down. Best SUV sleeper by far without the expensive prices of Toyota and Honda!!! Buy, Buy, Buy!!!

2023 Volkswagen Atlas review

2020 Subaru Ascent review
Practical. We love our 2020 Ascent Limited and we live in the south. We have a large family and this is great while the kids are small. Once more than three are teenagers, we'll definitely need a larger vehicle that provides more leg room if you're sitting on the back row. Love the convenience and ease of how the rear seats fold forward when I'm shopping and/or loading up from the back. The 10 year 100k mile warranty was reasonably priced at less than $2.5k. Haven't had to use it yet (knock on wood). Again, it's practical so the seats aren't as plush as premium vehicles but they're nice and comfortable. This pretty much describes the interior. The electronics are comparable to most vehicles. It has everything you need but nothing over the top. (Again, practical.) Greatly appreciate the cabin air filter and ease of changing it. I like smelling a fresh interior all the time. We're in the south where it's high in pollen, so the HEPA cabin filter is perfect. In my opinion the Ascent is a great mid-size SUV option that looks nice, is practical and has that Subaru reliability.

I own my third navigator, they are absolutely best suv made!!! Any way I was having a horrible problem with my steering while driving, we were going to Nc/sc , doing 70 mph with a trailer and then the steering wheel spun to left but wheels stayed straight!!! Almost killed us on i95 in Virginia!!! I was praying that it never happened again and of course I got xxxx luck!!! So we made sure when it happened again that it would be on video!!! Reason for video is we used to go to Springfield Lincoln, it was our second Lincoln dealer in 40 years!!! Chapman/sheehy Lincoln was first dealer they went out of business!!! So when we told Springfield ford first time they laughed at us said it wasn’t possible!!! That was service manager!!! Nice huh!!! So that’s why my son and I had it video from our attorneys video that they have set up on entire suv!!! We had a video now of 3xs in 10 days!!! Even after they watched videos they called up to Lincoln cause Springfield had no idea , they told me it has to crash or come up on computer before they will help us!!! Wow I have paid cash for all of my Lincoln’s!!! Gave owned 3 towncars, 1 mark 8, 2 navigators, 1 mercury cougar, 1 aviator!! With all of this u would think they would treat you better!!!! Springfield Ford is the worst, horrible with customers, and mechanics or lot person damaged dash and it was on video, asked the person if they had by accident damaged anything in vehicle??? Said to me absolutely nothing damaged!!! Then showed him video of him scratching the computer area, his expression said it all!!! Now for Carmen Lincoln all I can say is tytytytytytytytytyty Jesus!!! Think u get the picture!!! As soon as I explained everything that we told Springfield Ford, the service manager did his magic and fixed entire vehicle!!! When I say the day went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that my family had a safe vehicle to drive is an understatement, the service manager kept me abreast the entire way of fixing the vehicle, Springfield Ford couldn’t be bothered did not care if we crashed or not it was so bad with Springfield Ford did I actually contact the attorneys gave them all the text and voice messages from Springfield Ford and had something happened to my family the lawyers were able to sue the living xxxx out of Springfield Ford and Lincoln for putting us in danger !!!!’ The absolute best Lincoln dealership in tristate area is without a doubt Carmen Lincoln , If you want honest good people skilled people then you go to Carman Ford Carman Lincoln and they will take care of you I would not trust many other people now because of Springfield Ford, then here comes Carman Lincoln to the rescue!! The service manager absolutely said he was not giving the truck back until it was fixed and he was true to his word Carman Lincoln is the only place to buy Lincoln ‘s and to take them to get them fixed you will never be happier and that’s a promise!!!! 2023 Chevrolet Equinox review
The equinox is very nice for the price. My biggest complaint is has a horrible suspension. I even lowered air pressure in the tires below the recommended pressure and the ride was no better. You feel every little bump in the pavement.

2024 Buick Envista review
Working on 2 years now with my new Buick, looking at this vehicle from the outside you really feel like you’re looking at an expensive car, the inside of the car is nicely done for the price point. First model year for the Envista. You have to expect some issues., I had my car in twice to have the radio reprogrammed or updated whichever you wanna call it. I’ve had the sunroof motor replaced as that has worn out. I haven’t had any other issues with the vehicle, the ride is great. It’s fairly quiet, it gets great gas mileage and it totally suits my need as far as space , comfort, and appearance. There are just a couple of things that I would change about this vehicle if I could. First, I would upgrade the sound system to something better, the sound system is pretty good but I bought the Avenir and one would think that model should’ve had a premium sound system. Express up windows could’ve been added, not just expressed down. The car could’ve used some additional sound deadening material. Buick are known for being quiet vehicles, I think the additional sound deadening and also maybe an 18 inch wheel in the satin nickel finish would’ve been nice. I have the 19 inch wheels and I think the 18 inch would’ve given it a better ride but it’s still pretty decent. The car is quiet however it is not that Buick quiet that I’ve had before in other Buicks. Would I buy this car again, probably not but not because there’s anything wrong with it, just because I would probably want to change. I’m at retirement age so I did buy this vehicle knowing I’m going to keep it probably as my last vehicle. Is it a nice vehicle absolutely, is it worth the money? Absolutely, should you buy one of these that’s entirely up to you after a test driving it, but I don’t think you would be disappointed as long as you understand what you’re paying for. You are not spending 40 to 50,000 on a vehicle buying this car and you’re getting something that looks definitely like it could be worth 40,000.

2021 Chevrolet Equinox review
I had a 20/20 Equinox that I was traveling from Illinois to Florida. As I was getting back on 75 South I got rear-ended and throw a hundred feet. The car took the brunt of the hit my cat that was in the cage in the back never got hurt my dog that was tethered in the front seat never got hurt I got a small concussion with a bump on my head but overall I absolutely love the car. When I got reimbursed for my 20/20 I went out and bought another one I was so impressed with the impact it took for that crash.

2022 Chevrolet Blazer review
Recently purchased the Chevrolet Blazer 2LT Midnight Sport Edition SUV and absolutely love this vehicle. The Blazer has a very nice, sporty, and unique design. The 2.0 Turbo 4 cylinder engine delivers plenty of horsepower at 228 HP. I'm used to driving a V6 engine and was concerned about the performance and I can honestly say it delivers a solid performance. It drives very smooth and has great gas mileage, 29 mpg highway and 22 mpg city. The interior is designed well, the cloth seats are comfortable and this Blazer is very spacious. The technology is easy to use and has Wi-Fi connectivity. I highly recommend this Chevrolet Blazer to anyone looking for an affordable SUV that looks great and has solid performance.

2019 GMC Terrain review
I brought this truck in 2019. I kept taking it back to the dealership to get tweaked several times. Once it was figured out, never got any problems ever again. A little weak on the power side, but, other than that, its a magnificent vehicle. A total work horse. Great on gas. It is totally worth it.

2022 Audi e-tron review
The Car is just great, but potential buyers beware. One problem is that there is no permanent roof sunshade. I purchased a Porche Taycan sunshade that stays in place with 12 clips, since they are sister vehicles. Living in Florida, the glass roof gets beyond hot and cooks the top of your head. Another issue is the chargeable miles. At 80% charge I get 245 "electric" miles, and at 100% I get just about 300 "electric" miles. Using the a/c, the radio, or head lights will eat up about 45 miles easily. Tune ups are expensive considering there is no engine. My first major tune up this year was $1,600, a lot more than expected. 4 year warranty is up in June, Audi wants $9,300 for 4 more years or 48K miles. I went with a third party insurer for 5 years/30K miles for $4,300. Too bad Audi doesn't have more faith in the quality of their vehicles.

2018 Lexus RX 450h review
I purchased a 2018 Lexus RX 450h about 2 months ago. I've put around 5,000 Mi on it with no problems. It's been averaging around 30 miles to the gallonfor my city and highway driving around St Louis area. Car is very comfortable and easy to drive, actually feeling like it just drives itself for the most part. It's a fully loaded model with everything on it that I was looking for in a nice comfortable used vehicle.
