2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport review
Bought my 2017 Santa Fe Sport in 2018 with about 60K on it, it was a rental, and it now has 260K and have had no major issues. I have maintained it very well with a full synthetic oil change, Mobil 1 oil only, about every 6000 - 7000 miles. I will never go 10,000 miles without an oil change regardless of the 20,000 mile guarantee that Mobil 1 offers. Nothing but normal maintenance, tires, battery, serpentine belt etc. I realize that all of them are that reliable but I have had very good fortune with this one. And do not be afraid to buy a rental, they usually maintain them very well.

2020 Lincoln Aviator review
Well, first thing is first. This is a great American luxury suv, problem, just that. We Americans worry too much about things we don't need and forgo things we do and thus you have most American companies especially auto manufacturers. Charge a lot but receive very little in durability but ague that it's offered at least. Precisely why the Japanese and recently the German luxury manufacturers do it better. They are not just trying to make a xxxx load of money, they actually care that their products are what they are being hyped as and stand the test of time regardless of the deepness of their customers pockets. So does the Lincoln produce a great product, Yes and No and that's a problem in this class as their asking price. For $60+k the vehicle shouldn't have any negative reviews let alone quality issues. The American car makers are an unfortunate mixed bag and leave me always expecting more. Maybe the true intent after all, planned obsolescence. Non the less I'd recommend a good extended warranty because when things fail outside of warranty, most likely it will cost more then the vehicle in the 1st place.

2022 Honda Pilot review
We decided on the Trail Sport. We live in mountains of SW Montana on a dirt road, off a gravel forest service access rd. We also transport elderly women from our church, so needed a 3rd row for seating. It's been a reliable, comfortable ride. Easy for the ladies to get in & out of. My hubby & I are sure enjoying the comfort level of this pilot. One of the great features is being able to adjust the traction to mud & snow.

2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe review
Bought my 2024 used with 13k miles on it. Maybe I'm old school due to prior life with a 97 TJ and and 01 XJ but this car is fantastic to drive and very luxurious. Perhaps not as tech heavy as other SUVs, but it does everything I could hope for, and has been fun for road driving and light off roading.

2020 Ford Explorer review
Wife's car ,working at home not many miles low 20k as of2024 June. Still I wonder about trans fluid because of time. Problem that bugs me is the radio. Static in AM off and on ,and of course the business station 1220am about the market. UGH!! Third lease of explorer, so low in miles ,made it a purchase. 🤞👍

2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
2017 GC Limited 4WD. Bought it 3 years ago with 53k miles and now approaching 108k miles. When we bought it, we went to fill the tank for the first time and the gas pump kept shutting off. Turns out there was a known issue with the fuel filler neck assembly. The selling dealer replaced it under warranty and we literally didn't have another issue until 100k miles. At 100k miles took it in for new spark plugs, which is normal maintenance, and found the radiator leaking. The new radiator was not cheap. Have not had any other issues, just replaced the factory original brakes, they made it almost to 108k! We live in Minnesota and this vehicle is an absolute beast in the snow. Put it in snow mode and it is very stable and feels unstoppable. It is a comfortable long distance cruiser and gets decent mileage on the highway, between 24-27mpg. The UConnect system is very easy to use, and the nav is pretty good, but the whole system operates quite slowly. That's a minor complaint I think. Overall we are pretty happy with our WK2.

2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L review
i recently had a 2023 for explorer it was a good truck never a problem but not a comfortable as the jeep grand Cherokee l front seating is amazing no issues at all i did my research and made sure i bought one with the German transmission its a good idea to check that only thing i can say on the down side seam to be a little under powered but i can live with it decent milage 20 around town.

2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek review
Bought my Crosstrek from the dealer, and have owned many cars, raced cars, built cars, and even owned my own auto repair shop. The 2013 was first year out, and yes it has improved over the years so I can't leave a 5-star review. The strong points for me have been reliability and looks. Secondary has been a 4cyl with great gas mileage, and decent performance. Interior noise is a little higher than an SUV like a 4Runner, sound system sucks, and Subaru probably should have mated it with a turbo, but overall it has been a great ride, and Subaru fixed many of these issues in later editions. The AWD is amazing in the rain! For those that have the oil consumption in later years, just add engine "restore", and the issue is solved. Replace your bearing w/ the backing plates, and you should be good to go for another 100K. For the first year out, Subaru did an amazing job.

2023 Ford Edge review
I bought this vehicle in December of 2023, and I have been pleased with the performance and the room inside the car. The boot (trunk) has lots of space. The silver paint with the black wheels looks really sharp. The best appeal for me to purchase this vehicle is that it's reported to rarely need to be in the shop for repairs. It's always been my experience that if you take care of your vehicle then it will perform well.

2024 Ford Edge review
7 Ford Edges and the 2024 is rock solid yet quiet and great performance. Everyone wants to use the Edge when we go anywhere. The controls are easy to use for non distracted driving. Long road trips are un eventful and tires last forever. Loading space in the rear is flat easy and lots of space. Good visibility and safe.

2024 Jeep Compass review
We purchased a 2024 Jeep Compass Limited Elite. This vehicle has far surpassed our expectations for comfort, handling, road noise and quality. There is very little road noise we hear inside the vehicle, and this allows us to keep the radio turned down to a comfortable level. Handling is exceptional and very responsive. The driver safety features of lane guidance, adaptive cruise control (my favorite) and 360-degree backup camera are now features we will not go without after experiencing first hand performance. Ask for the most fun, honest, and communicative person E.J. Edmonds, Sales & Leasing Consultant, (304) 291-5090 x1104, [email protected]. This was the best car shopping experience I ever had. I narrowed my search down to a Kia K5. I loved the aggressive looks, tech package, fuel economy, and price. I settled on the K5 I looked around all of northeast Ohio Kia dealerships. I shopped at Kia of Bedford, Spitzer Kia Cleveland, Haleen Kia, Montrose Kia, Kia of Streetsboro, and Ken Ganley Kia. All of them charged anywhere from a couple of thousand to five thousand dollars over MSRP. Most of the MSRP were non-negotiable or they started with a much higher price than I was comfortable with. I searched for another couple of months. I lurked around Reddit's Kia subreddit. I was lucky to find a Reddit post from EJ. He was advertising no markup, MSRP Kia’s from Freedom Kia. I saw E.J. posted in a Kia subreddit about no mark up sales. I contacted E.J. and thought it was too good to be true. I was hesitant. I thought they might be selling at MSRP but they would require other items or the finance office would rake me over other items. Sorry for sounding hesitant when it comes to car dealers. I just heard so many horror stories. The more I talked to E.J. the more I felt comfortable. He was upbeat, genuine, helpful, and on the spot with communications. I asked E.J. how Freedom Kia operated and he said cars are sold MSRP. No haggle pricing. There are options his dealer offers but they are all optional and never aggressively pushed. I called E.J. and he was fun and has an awesome personality. I was floored to find that I could factory order a K5! All the Cleveland dealers I dealt with said there was no way I could factory order a K5 or any car. They also blamed the chip shortage, which I highly doubted in late 2022. Cleveland Kia dealers said I had to take what was on the lot or wait for one that is close to my criteria. I was willing to drive three hours away to do business with Freedom Kia if they sold cars at MSRP and had no pressure sales. E.J. walked me through the easy process of factory ordering my 2023 Kia K5 EX in sapphire blue. The car I want, in the color I wished, and added items to make it more personalized to suit my needs. E.J. was on the spot when it came to communicating the dealer needs, transactions, and updates. He emailed me vehicle production updates. E.J. notified me when the car arrived. He took pictures for me. He took the time to explain the bells and whistles. If he didn’t know an item he got back to me and answered my questions. I couldn’t believe that I was buying a car at MSRP. He laid out all the costs associated. He explained again the three optional accessories. He emphasized, they were completely optional and did not pressure me at all. I signed all the paperwork and it was a breeze! They didn’t stick on any dealer logos. Another great plus. When it came to financing I was worried but Lee Cochran, Finance Manager, was super helpful. So please if you are within the Morgantown, WV area or are willing to fly out, please go to Freedom Kia. Ask for E.J. No hassle purchase. Helpful staff. A friendly and no hassle finance staff. Freedom Kia bucks the trend of horrible dealership experiences. They make the car buying experience pleasant. My Kia electric car will be bought from Freedom Kia and E.J.
2025 Kia Sorento Hybrid review
We really like the car. Our main issue is in the electronics. Sometimes the seat moves sometimes it don't. The stereo and map screen will just go blank while driving. Radio often shows one channel but playing another. Outside mirrors sometimes move downward while backing up, sometimes not.

2019 Jeep Compass review
In my many years of car driving and ownership, I have rarely had a better vehicle than my 2019 Jeep Compass Latitude. It has been reliable, comfortable, fun to drive and, for its' size and type, very good on gas. In April, I will have been driving "Lattie"for 5 years. My upkeep has been minimal. She is pretty and still looks new. This vehicle is such a pleasure to drive. Handling and response are excellent. Controls are super easy to manage and absolutely love the heated seat and steering wheel. On a long trip, it is very comfortable (yes, I have ridden in the back seat, too) and fuel economy was just great...fully loaded with air-conditioner on and travelling at highway speeds gave me 30+ mpg. Really can't complain. My Neon didn't do any better. This is a great vehicle. Oh, and I had leased it new, and purchased it when the lease was up..that's how good this car is!

2020 Kia Sportage review
First off I would like to say that I am a huge car enthusiast who has owned many different cars in my 60 plus years. My most recent cars have been a 2017 Honda Pilot, 2022 Honda CRV and 2023 Toyota Highlander. The Pilot was nice but the CVT transmission drove me nuts with the way it jerked and shifted. The 2022 CRV was also nice but the electronics and bluetooth connectivity were SOOO bad!! The FWD Highlander with new turbo engine was a huge disappointment. I felt unsafe on curvy two lane roads.....like it didn't feel like it was gripping the road properly. It also had terrible turbo lag that was highly frustrating and dangerous feeling. When I would push it hard to get it going, it would almost skid out once it got going. The wireless apple CarPlay was its best feature but generally speaking the electronics were a nightmare and required a subscription to work best. You had to push multiple things to get to your radio and it was all so poorly designed. I had been having severe buyer remorse with the Highlander and started looking again. I drove a RAV4 and it was too underpowered and buzzy for my liking. Also drove a new Mazda CX-50 but was having a hard time spending the dollars on another new car since I would be losing on the Highlander trade. Long story short, we purchased a 2019 Kia Sportage EX for my college aged daughter in 2021. It was affordable, had good reviews and a longer warranty than everything else. She has loved it!! Turns out we have not needed the warranty even one time in these past two years. Only simple oil changes and tire rotations. She's away this summer so my husband and I have been driving her car periodically. During these drives, I decided I like her car so much, that I traded my Highlander for a certified pre-owned 2020 Sportage SX Turbo! I am SOOO thrilled with my decision!! The build is heavy and solid, visibility is incredible and driving it is SO much FUN! Feels like you're driving a Mercedes or BMW but at an extremely affordable price. The controls are so simple that I've not consulted the manual more than a couple of times. Everything has its own button and, although the car is loaded to the brim with every option you can imagine, it's all so easy to navigate and use. Kia made a winner here and I hope they continue on this path of using quality materials and easy to navigate electronics. If so I will be a loyal Kia fan forever!!

2023 Ford Bronco Sport review
Bought new. 50k on the odometer. Nothing of any concern has happened and Ford has a generous 10k miles between maintenance intervals. Stock tires on the Badlands did not last anywhere near their projected life. With the new tires I’m getting around 28mpg now. The badlands GOAT modes have gotten me through a lot of OHV trails and forest roads. The suspension articulates well. Anything I’ve dared to ask it do it has done.

2016 Ford Edge review
The 2.7L Ecoboost engine in the Sport model is phenomenal. Powerful, smooth and reliable. I love the adaptive cruise control, air-conditioned front seats, panoramic sunroof, and power lift gate but its the engine that makes this stand out from the competition. I own 2 of these Sport models now.

2023 Subaru Ascent review
I recently traded in my 2022 Ascent for a similar 2023 model. The 2022 model had brakes issues/noises right from the beginning of ownership. Subaru gave me a great deal on the 2023 model. A number of improvement were found on the 2023 model. Obvious one is the exterior styling with new front grille, headlights and taillights. Interior improvements include updated Eyesight, quieter ride, better steering and brakes, larger multimedia screen including front and backup camera screens, driver profile system. A few other tweaks here and there, making the 2023 Ascent Touring a decent and very safe SUV. Not necessarily sporty or thrilling but perfect vehicle for commuting in town and long road trips.
