2009 Chevrolet HHR LT review
My wife and I both have 2009 HHR’s.
My wife and I both have 2009 HHR’s. Hers is black with only 85,000 km on the clock she got hers used 7 years ago with only 65,000 km. Only repairs (other than oil changes and routine maintenance as per owners manual) have been front rotors which I upgraded to drilled and slotted rotors and just replaced the rear shocks. We tow hers behind our motorhome.She just loves her HHR. My HHR is a cool little Panel in metallic grey. I have had mine for 5 years with mileage at 145,000 km and it now has 255,000 Km. Just upgraded my front brakes to the drilled/slotted rotors and new rear shocks. Other than regular oil changes and routine maintenance I have had no issues with this little beast. Both cars are garage kept and never driven in the snow (have an old school Jeep for winter (1989 Jeep Cherokee we have owned for 26 years). I would recommend the HHR to any one looking for a nice little vehicle - both of have the automatic transmission and without a word of a lie we are getting between 29 and 31 mpg which is great 👍

2009 Chevrolet HHR LT review
Great car for the price.
My HHR lasted for over 350,000 miles before a truck backed into me with the truck’s hitch going through the radiator. Normal maintenance issues. Very large cargo area for a compact car. Big enough to hold a full size freezer.

2001 Ford Explorer XLT review
18 Years and 185k miles
Most reliable vehicle I have owned. Bought used in 2002 and still use it daily with 185k miles. Changed the coolant and transmission fluids a few times and oil/filter every 3000 miles because that’s what my dad did. Passes California smog, no oil leaks or burning, keeps wheel alignment, no major repairs. Not as smooth a ride like a new one but maybe new shocks are needed.

Handles good. Wins safety awards, hope we never test that. We do like our 2015 better. My wife's sister's Tribeca kept them alive but was totaled. Can't seem to get the mileage it said on the sticker.
