2022 Kia Sportage review
Excellent car ,no problems with 33 K miles. Rides quite and very solid. Interior seems to be top quality material. Radio is nice and great sound. No chips on exterior paint. Tires are exceptional. I hit some large holes in the roads and the tires are fine. Car has nice little features like dual sliding roof. There are other features like 4 different driving modes, lighted door handles on outside. There are other things. I will keep this for 2 more years.

2023 Hyundai VENUE review
Great little SUV. Bought used with 8000 miles. Since I bought it I've averaged 36.6 mpg. over 14,648 miles. Every review I read it mentioned about its power, I can pass cars at high speed with no problems. Only problem is the storage space when back seats are up. Otherwise, easy to drive and park.

2019 Kia Sorento review
Bought in September 2019, before the pandemic and before the chip shortage for $25900.00 . Now have 65700 miles with no trouble. If you want a reasonable reliable SUV this is it. American made in West Point , GA. Built by non union workers so you will not get the junk the United Auto Workers Union builds. Always use synthetic oil, change every 8-10 thousand miles. Yokohama tires it came with only lasted 40,000 miles. Have Cooper tires on all my autos now, great wearing tires.

2018 Nissan Rogue review
Just purchased a 2018 Nissan Rogue from Landmark Automotive, in West Chester Pa. The car is beautiful, runs so smoth and quiet. Its quite peppy barely touch the gas a it really moves. Sound system is amazing, and I love the push start. No problems so far and I really love that its got a two year warrenty. Chris at Landmark was awesome and even came out after a snow storm to help me out. Highly recommend

2015 Land Rover Range Rover Sport review
I have had my 5.0 supercharged Autobiography for almost 3 years. I had to do brakes, 2 oil changes,put about a cup of antifreeze in it and I need to replace the start button. I'm a college student, a senior about to graduate from UNC Chapel Hill, and was just recently able to buy a car for the first time. I wanted something that had plenty of room for passengers since I like to go on road trips with my housemates and that didn't have too many miles so that I could rely on it for a good long while, but I also needed it to be within my price range. My mom had bought a car from Byron Thomas Auto Sales a few months previously and was really impressed with not only the quality of the car, but also the quality of the Thomas family. While looking at photos on the Byron Thomas Auto Sales page I found a beautiful 2010 Dodge Avenger with less than 50,000 miles on it that was right in my price range. Also, I really appreciated both the number and quality of the photos that are posted to their website, because as a college student that also works about 30 hours a week I have very little time to go out and look at cars, and usually websites provide only 5 or 6 grainy photos of each vehicle. For this car, I decided to take some time off and make a trip out. Mr. Thomas was incredibly accommodating, allowing me to test drive several cars and then go back home that night to talk things over with my mom. After I decided to buy it, Mr. Thomas even brought the car to Rocky Mount so that I could purchase the car that weekend and drive it back to Chapel Hill on Sunday. I have been nothing but pleased with both the car and with Byron Thomas Auto Sales and would highly recommend checking them out if you're in the market for well-kept used cars and a no-hassle experience!

I've had three 2015 X1's. Drove the wheels off one, one got stolen and on my third. Love this car! So economical and the gps is off satellite, not cell tower. Get maps ANYWHERE, for life. I only have 72k on it and will be my last vehicle.

2015 Honda CR-V review
One year and 37,000 miles later, my 2015 Honda CR-V EX-L, purchased from Bill Kay Honda, has exceeded all expectations! I bought this gem with 50,000 miles on the clock, and it's been nothing short of a dream. Dependability is the name of the game here – this car hasn't skipped a beat. Gas mileage has been consistently impressive, making both city commutes and long road trips a breeze. As expected with any vehicle of this mileage, routine repairs have been standard, but nothing out of the ordinary. The EX-L trim package adds a touch of luxury with its leather interior and upgraded features, making every drive comfortable. The spacious interior and ample cargo space have been perfect for everything from grocery runs to weekend getaways. Having finally taken the plunge into the Honda world, I now understand the rave reviews from my mechanics. This CR-V has proven its worth, and I'm a loyal Honda convert for life! I had a tire pressure sensor problem on my 2014 Lincoln MKZ in which despite new tires applied 7-8-25 , checked psi for 35 psi the day before I took this vehicle to Hastings Ford in Greenville ,NC on Sept 1 . The Tire pressure sensor Monitor had been on display the past week . It was also present on 7-3-25 prior to new tires . A diagnostic check at East Carolina Dodge,Jeep , Lincoln said there wasn’t a problem when I had the new tires installed there . I had a lot of issues with that dealership from July 3- August 1,2025 . , Hastings Ford promptly answered my phone call , set an appt easily & the Tire pressure Sensor monitor was replaced in the passenger side front tire within 45 minutes . I have always had satisfactory work at Hastings Ford with the service team, Daniel & Garrett , & Linda . Mr . Waugh in Quick Lane is always pleasant too whom got the work started for my auto . 2022 Jeep Compass review
Bought this 2022 Compass Trail Hawk new for my wife. Earlier this year (2025) we landed a sweetheart deal on a new 2024 Wrangler Sport S. Guess who inherited the Compass ? I stepped down from a Grand Cherokee but I have no regrets. It has had a few electrical teething issues but all have been resolved and have not come back. The handling and fuel economy are much better than the Grand Cherokee. There are only 2 downsides..........the size of the gas tank (13.5 gal vs 24.5) and the cargo space behind the 2nd row seats. I have easily adapted to both ! I want to give a shout-out to our local dealership, Tri-City CDJR. Start to finish, an excellent place to purchase and maintain our Jeeps. BRAVO ZULU !

A month ago my daughter called me very upset about her 2009 Ford Escape. Her car would not maintain speed at high or low rpms. A Ford dealer in Moorhead told her that to repair her car she was looking at $600 and possibly thousands of dollars depending on what they found. I did some research on line and I felt sure it was the Valve Throttle Body. I asked her to bring her car to me and I would make the repairs. After calling around to find the part, I ended up calling Hasting Ford. They had the part I needed but the parts person explained that this part was covered under an extended warranty. He transferred me to the service department and they made an appointment to look at my daughter's car. Long story short, they determined that it was the Valve Throttle Body and all of the parts and labor were taken care of with no charge to my daughter. Finding an honest car dealership is hard to come by these days; Hasting Ford of Greenville, N.C. meets all my requirements. Thanks so much for your help.
2021 Ford Explorer review
I love my ST all except for seating. I’m just not a fan of European style seating soo we had an upholstery shop up grade them. Sooo much fun to drive! Great gas mileage considering I’m a lead foot. And when needed you can put a full 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back.

I`ve owned several explorers through the years and put countless trouble free miles on them. The v8 equiped versions are my favorite makes merging into traffic a breeze. I found this one with only 77k miles on it and couldn`t pass it up.

2022 Subaru Crosstrek review
I personally love my 22 Crosstrac. I have the turbo engine and it has a lot of go to it. Very sturdy on the road at higher speeds. I have the Limited Edition with diamond sparkle black paint, black leather interior very sharp looking vehicle. There was a few hiccups in the beginning with a few minor leaks around the windshield which was promptly fix by the dealership. Gas mileage is great. If you have a family or intend on traveling a lot, the storage part is small other than that perfection all around.

2018 Chevrolet Traverse review
My 2018 Traverse is large enough that I (6'2") can get into and out of it with no problem. If I put the 2nd row of seats down, I can stretch out with room to spare. Averaged 29mpg on a 1400 mile trip in Sept. Has more power and better mpg than my 2012 did. If I get another car, it will once again be a Traverse if it is still available.

2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited review
We were looking for a moderately priced Jeep Wrangler Unlimited for a teenage son and this one fit the bill. For a roughly 8 year old vehicle it was well taken care of by previous owners. Although the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited won’t be confused with a luxury car for its ride and comfort, they are adequately appointed and fun to drive. That’s where the saying, “it’s a Jeep thing “ comes from. All I know is that in our area they are very popular and our teenage son will thoroughly enjoy it if he can ever get it away from his Mom.
