Went in to get something with good gas mileage and was treated very great and loved it all. They treated me well and didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t want or need. I bought a Camry and love it!

My yellow 2002 Celica still looks brand new and always undercover. I love driving it and am the original owner. Still under 190.000 klm. I am 74 years old and dare anyone to overtake me or accelerate from traffic lights. 6 on the floor is a dream to handle. Always used premium petrol. My grandson who is 8 will inherit it. I live in NSW Australia.

I purchased my 1999 Celica GT with 95,000 miles a few years ago. For a 99 this car is amazingly reliable. I do have a parisidic battery drain that kills the battery if it sets longer than 2 weeks but I'm also sure it's an easy fix if I stopped being lazy. I had to have the AC recharged and the valve cover gaskets replaced due to leaking oil. I think it comes with an old car. Other than this I don't think I had a more reliable car from starting driving until now in my 40s. I wish there were more aftermarket parts but you can still always find what you need if something small needs replaced. With the manual transmission I love driving the car even if it's not fast it's still fun to drive. On top of all that they are not a desirable car so you can get one for cheap and it's very easy to work on. I would definitely recommend this car.

I bought a 2003 GT for 7.5K Canadian in the Spring of 2025 after having done extensive research. It was in mint shape with no rust and had been well maintained mechanically. My dream car is actually a pre-2008 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S, but I wasn’t ready to spend that kind of money yet on a third car (I also own an Audi Q8 and a BMW i3). I wanted to experience a manual natural aspirated sports car again and based on my research the Celica was consistently rated as the fun to drive, practical, very reliable and affordable for a sports car…that sold me! So far my experience has been very good…the Celica GT is very fun to drive. The limited 0-60 speed is mitigated by the fact that you feel as though you’re going faster than you are as you sit low and get great engine and road feedback. It’s a high revving engine so most of the torque comes after 5000rpm. The GT is very track able up and down the gears and it manages just fine without the extra HP that the GTS provides (which is really only available after 6800 rpm…who revs that high anyway ?!?). The handling, steering, cornering and braking are all very balanced and therefore you can have a lot of fun with this car…this is the car for entry level car enthusiasts! I plan on keeping it for another few years before buying my dream 911 and driving off into the sunset on a winding back country road :)

pretty good car, simple, but still convenient and reliable and if you modify it enough, you might turn some heads. It reminds me of the supra and the miata combined. It shares similar parts with the supra and people tend to modify some celiacs to make them look somewhat like a supra, but then again it's just a celica. Like the miata, it's not a muscle car or anything, just a fun reliable, modifiable car.

I purchased my Mercedes AMG package from Boktor Motors and I absolutely love my car! It's in an immaculate condition and the team was a pleasure to work with.

All of them are very old now (!) but still a great, fun car. My GTS hatchback with the 5SFE has 256K on the original engine; it's been pretty reliable over the last 11 years, although it does vibrate quite a bit, even after replacing motor mounts. If you can find a lower-mileage one, it could definitely be a daily driver and, if you've got some skills, you can turn it into a pretty decent 90s ripper. Downsides: I've never done better than about 26mpg for fuel economy, the back seat is for small children only, and the trunk is bigger than it needs to be!

I had been looking to upgrade my vehicle for quite some time. I saw a 2011 Cadillac DTS Premium for sale on the cargurus web site and my reaction was WOW. The exact car that I have been wanting for a very long time. I contacted Autobahn Luxury Motors to see if the Cadillac was still available. Ryan responded immediately that the Cadillac was still available. I live in Mesa, az and the Cadillac is in Norwalk, CA.. I decided to buy the Cadillac because it was the car for me and Ryan was so helpful and polite. Next I met the owner Haddi. My first impression of Haddi was how did such a good and honest person ever get into the car business. I'm sure glad he did because he gives the used car business a big Bright Star on the board of how to own and operate a successful car dealership. Yes I read all the negative reviews and they either owned up to their mistake or proved them false. By this time next week I should be driving my Cadillac DTS Premium. I needed a good gas mileage reliable car. I knew there’s no car ever made that is more reliable than a 90’s to early 2000’s Toyota and I was lucky enough to find a 25 year old Celica convertible in great shape. I had no idea what a truly exceptional car this was. It handles nearly as good as my first generation Miata, but brakes better, steering is very precise, it has a back seat and ride quality that makes a day long marathon trip comfortable. The trunk is a little difficult to open and it won’t scare you with acceleration, but it will put an enormous smile on your face every time you drive it. I’ve owned dozens of cars- many of them classics, this may well be my favorite.

They have alot of cars that were in my budget and some that were 2007 or 08 with 50-70k miles. I was shocked. I ended up getting a Camry but I would have taken any of the cars. THe selection is crazy. Thanks guys you made it happen.

Got my Baby in 2003. Today 2024 and she is still going strong. Brakes, Tires and oil changes kept up and this Baby is 100% reliable. Had O2 sensors changed once and not one problem with this vehicle! Love her!!!

I’ve put 125k miles on it so far. Had 160k when I got it. Still has the original engine and runs great. Getting 34-39 MPG overall with the 5-speed and driving it nicely. Interior has held up exceptionally well, no cracking on any of the panels.

Not one engine problem in 20 years. Takes about half a quart of oil every month or 2 but other than that she hasn't had any work needed beside the usual 5k mile tune up.

The Toyota cars last a long time. With the engine rebuild and has under 3,000 miles this car will last a long time and it is cheap to register and insurance is inexpensive. Great Car for some one who likes power. Interior front seat need to be reupholstered and car needs to be painted

I'm the 3rd owner of this 2000 Celica GTS. I purchased it from my son 10 years ago at the time he lived in NC and I lived in Iowa. Since then I have put over 150,000 miles on it driving from the East Coast to Iowa several times. It handled like a dream then and still does. The only problems I have had is the paint clear coat has pealed from the East Coast weather. No problems from thee Iowa snow when driving I was even able to make it up my steep drive once it was plowed out when sometimes it took my husband several tries in his SUV. Regardless if the weather was 100* or -35* it started every time. We have live in a 5th wheel for a few years now and I love the power this little car has jumping on and off the freeways in front of the 5th wheel so he has a clear lane change. Starting in Georgia where we spent the last 3 winters then going to SC to visit our son who gave the car a complete check over at almost 200.000 miles before we left for Iowa for the summer then down to New Mexico and across to Arizona. It has been so nice not worrying about car problems unlike 2 new SUVs we have owned in the past. While in Arizona I did have to put a screen over the entrance to the carburator because we found a stowaway had filled the air filter full of acorns and sunflowers and had left her two little babies in some napkins under the seat that was folded down for the dog. Yes, my gentle Flat Coat Retriever found them and momma Chipmunk and babies are fine and now free.

Had a great experience purchasing a car from Carena Motors. I researched many used car dealers and had a specific budget and a type of car in mind. I was looking for newer Audis. Im 25 my first car was a 97 celica i bought it it 2017 with 279k for 570$ and drove it for 2 years to 330k but had to junk it due to accident damage niw i have a 96 celica that i bought for 1300$ at 236k ive had it for almost 4 years it has 293k on it but its been at the shop gettin stuff done so i can say that they really are the moat reliable long lasting cars love them

I have been left speechless by the services provided by MotorCar Classics. I had called their office and was so lucky to be connected to Craig. The original conversation started with info on a car they had recently sold. We talked for a good 20-30 minutes and I can tell Craig was full of enthusiasm and a passion for cars. One conversation led to another and he taught me how consignment works. I had sold 4 jeeps prior on my own and didn't even know consignment to sell a car was a thing. He walked me through the details on how it works. I ended up giving them my Jeep CJ-7 after a week and they had it sold faster than I had imagined. For my age, my biggest battle is getting a conversation going with such professionals who deal with cars worth hundreds of thousands. Their ENTIRE staff including the owner were so friendly & welcoming. I would do business with them a hundred times over. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I bought the Celica ST new in 1994, and I'm so happy l did. It has great styling, very comfortable front driver and passenger seats. The main reason I've kept it this long is that it's so reliable. Of course, with a car this age, l cross my fingers every time l start it, but it has never let me down. I plan to keep it until l can find an electric car with great styling for under 100K.

Just a quick note of thanks. Every time I shift through the 6 speeds or exit a corner I have a greater sense of appreciation for this Porsche. You spent a considerable amount of time and were very patient with me during the buying process. My 1997 Toyota Celica ST lift back was the BEST car I ever owned . It got 33 MPG highway and it did great in the snow. I had a 50 mile each direction commute to college in the snowy mountains of Pennsylvania and I never missed a day of classes. I always got there safely in my Celica .... many times I passed 4 wheel drive SUVS stuck in snowy ditches in my Celica ! When I married a soldier and moved over seas I drove it all over Europe for 5 years. I never had a problem. It needed gas , oil changes and wiper blades .. that's about it. It even had the original Toyota battery in it for 13 years. I always felt safe and confidant in my Celica. It was super reliable and it's style never got out dated. Others makes and models their style looked out dated after a few years but not the Toyota Celica .... it was always a good looking car. I got tons of complements on it from Americans & Germans ! I am so sad that Toyota no longer makes that Celica ..... really nothing else on the market measures up to the style , gas milage , reliability and versatility of the Toyota Celica. You can have it all with the Celica. A car that looks sporty yet has a hatch back and fold down seats giving you a ton of space ! I could put my 21 speed mountain bike in the back of my sport car or haul 30 bags of mulch to my house ! Can your sport car do that ? :o)

Here is a review of my start to finish process of buying a car from Gateway Classic Cars, Ft. Lauderdale: ----- 1. The sales people who you work with are not on site. They're working remote so they don't have eyes on the car. ---- So, 2. You'll want to be connected with someone on site who can start and drive the car, provide a walkaround video, pictures of whatever you want and give their input. I worked with Alex at the Ft. Lauderdale location for my purchase and he was outstanding with helping me to know the car before making an offer. He is the reason that this is a 5 star review. -------- 3. Hauling: They'll get you a quote for hauling the vehicle. I chose Nexus Transport myself to use. They were a bit cheaper and top rated by Forbes. That went just fine. --------- 4. These cars are all on consignment. So, I feel that you have to be a little more careful because you have another party who may not have disclosed things to Gateway. Best practice is to get a pre-buy done from someone like Lemon Squad. That being said, I was so comfortable with my deal, took the risk and waived the pre-buy. And in my case, the Prowler is a mint gem and I have no concerns after receiving it. Also, there is a common thought then you buy a car like this, you should budget 10% or so of the price for maintenance right after you get the car because stuff always comes up, otherwise, don't buy a used car. --------5. Since they're on consignment, they have commissions they charge the seller. As a buyer, I don't care if I see a commissions line on the purchase agreement. As long as my out the door number was what I offered, that's fine. --------6. I wired money to them and within a few hours, I had all the fully executed paperwork back in my hands. Title took about 3 weeks to receive by UPS. And the folder had everything I needed to register the car in my state. Wow! Thank you Barbara! ------ 7. So here is what breeds loyalty. Alex at the Ft. Lauderdale location made sure the car was completely ready to be picked up including accessories that were bubble wrapped. The car was supposed to be picked up at Noon on Saturday, plenty of time before they closed at 5pm. He stayed until the truck arrived...very late....AT 1:30am Sunday morning!!!! (Otherwise, it would have sat until Tuesday). I cannot believe he did that for me. I received my car loading video at 2am. That's unbelievable service that deserves more than 5 stars. ------- Summary: I'd have zero issues with buying from Gateway again....they just operate in a different dealership style than what I'm used to, which is just fine.
