1991 Toyota Cressida review
This is the car that preceded the Lexus, served as a testbed for it. It uses the same chassis as the Supra, a luxury sports car, so it is a small luxury sports sedan. Every element of the car is designed for quality. Toyota was still building its reputation in 1991 and this is one of the cars that served them well. It proved to be a worthy competitor of the BMW 5 series with luxury touches found only in the 7 series. Another positive is that the car is a cult classic, very collectable and popular with lovers of Toyota automobiles (and fine sports sedans).
