Used Toyota Highlander Hybrid Base for sale near me

We wanted a vehicle that would be able to comfortably carry 6 passengers, but also didn't want a minivan. The highlander had the most amount of legroom. Also we are getting 32mpg with the hybrid model. We'll worth the fuel savings. Very smooth ride.

We have owned our 2012 Highlander Hybrid Limited for almost 12 years now. It consistently gets 28 mpg, which is STILL (12 years later) impressive for a mid-sized SUV. The car has taken us all over the US as a military family and has never disappointed. We now are living in WNC with lots of winding roads and the Highlander, although not a Porshe, Tesla, or Subaru WRX, performs amazingly well in turns. I would say that the only thing that is a slight negative are the two 3rd row seats: they are fine for a short drive or for small kids (under 70 lbs), but not made for adults or teenagers. We have only done regular maintenance (regular oil changes, tire changes about every 40k miles, and wiper blades about the same interval) to the vehicle and changed out the windshield once due to a rock thrown from a dump truck. This is an excellent vehicle and one of the most reliable gas or hybrid vehicles on the market today. I would not hesitate to buy another Highlander Hybrid.

I gotta say the luxury of owning a car that you know dont leave you in the dust is a luxury that we take for granted. I got my 2011 Toyota Highlander V6 a month ago and I've done nothing but tow with my 6X12 trailer and it's been so overpowered and over built it's incredible what Toyota was able to achieve with this vehicle. You barely hear when the motor is on and it's so quiet. I have the base model so you can hear the wind noise but my family says it's quiet. That thing is a tank that you know you can depend on. Its COMPLETELY over built. I love my family hauler and plan on keeping this thing as long as I can! Best 10K I've ever ever spent by farrrrr!!

I LOVE my Highlander hybrid! I traded a lawnmower for it, and then it took us ALL THE WAY TO FLORIDA! And I still drive it everyday. Nothing stops this thing, from mud to snow. I don’t use it to hot rod, but this last winter would have stopped my 4x4 pickup. It’s a 2006 and the third row is very compact. BUT IT IS THERE! My family of 6 made it to Florida and back (44 hrs total travel) and yeah, I’ve run into a couple of small issues here and there, but I TRADED A LAWNMOWER for it! Best move I have EVER made. We love it and if we ever decide to upgrade, we’ll be getting a 2012 model.

Ordered a new limited in 2005. We still have it. It has been a great car and still in great condition with 250,000 miles. Looking to buy a new one and keep the 2006.

They were kind and efficient. The battery was weak because they had the car for a while. They replaced the battery after the sale was finished.

I purchased this vehicle in 2018 after my 2006 Tundra was considered totaled. The vehicle had 62K on the odometer; one owner. During the time since, I am at 200,000-mile mark and this, by FAR has been the most reliable and efficient vehicle ever owned. Routine maintenance is all it has ever needed. Original hybrid battery and she still purrs like a kitten. This SUV has traveled to 3 states outside of Texas (home state) without a hiccup. Roomy inside with an elegant feel. I went with the limited trim line; love the leather seats and heated seats for the ONE OR TWO DAYS I have to use them. The power moonroof is equally enjoyable; never a leak in 7 years of ownership. Do yourself a favor and, if you can fine one an owner is willing to part with, grab it! You can't go wrong with this one!

This car has EVERYTHING! I would go camping & could lay in the back and watch dvds. It even has a traditional outlet in the back so you can use it for: a hairdryer, electric pump to blow up air mattress, a microwave, etc! You could live in this car if you wanted to! I hate to even part with it because i barely ever had to fill it with gas. Only selling it because someone gave me a new car. I’m sure you’ll love it too!

I bought this car 2006, Highlander Hybrid used, maybe 7 years ago. It has been faultless in it performance and currently has 98,926 miles which is low, I believe. Still very happy with my Highlander. I do find that it will take on rain water, a bit, if I park it with front sloping downward in my drive though. So I try to reverse it if I’m expecting rain.

This SUV is by far the best car we've ever owned. We've owned Toyotas since 1987 (& a few Hondas in between). We thought our '91 Previa was the best (owned it till we traded it in at over 335,000 miles), but this rivals that one with its sturdy ride yet luxury feel on the road. They hybrid saves you a little gas money. If your budget doesn't allow you to buy new, would definitely recommend you buy it used, if you can (they're very hard to find because no one wants to give them up!)

With a sunroof, nav, 28mpg city, third-row seats, roof-rack, and AWD... what more could I ask for? (Except maybe some better styling, back-up sensors, and more comfortable seats.) It's a surprisingly quick car for such a heavy one.

(He has a trusted mechanic he uses to check out the cars. Not his employee, the guy where he takes his own car.) He met with us on our schedule and allowed to take the test drive alone so that we could talk openly. He even suggested getting out on the highway to see how the car handled. I fell in love with this SUV the minute I saw it. Though it was pricey I feel the investment worth it. It very functional, AWD for bad weather, fold down seats for hauling, and seats seven with third row seat. I have the limited which has kept its good looks over the years. It has power, but still good gas mileage, especially with Nav display, and AC off(28.6MPG), and 26 with just Nav off. No real mechanical issues plus factory hitch has worked well. Fog lights are great for seeing laterally on the road. Roof rack has proof useful many times. The darker window tinting is nice. Down side, salty roads and engine battery cable don't seem to mix well.
