Used 2014 Volkswagen Passat for sale near Marion, IL

I got the pleasure of working with Jazzmine at Bob Howard Toyota. I had a small hiccup from a previous service and she made sure everything was taken care of and that all recalls on my vehicle were addressed. She is so sweet and truly a joy to work with.

I bought a 2014 VW Passat SE in 2014 Brand New. I have done all the recommended maintenance on the car since I bought it and I have never had it break on me. I just hit 100k last month. I was driving down the highway a few weeks ago and I hit what appeared to be a piece of concrete or asphalt in the road. It made a loud thud under my car and I immediately lost power and the car turned off. I had it towed to the dealership. Whatever I hit took out my fuel pump that is inside the gas tank. They charged me $2100 to fix it. So I can tell you first hand these cars are reliable if you do all the maintenance like you are supposed to. But when they do Break, they cost way more than they should to fix them!

My experience with Serra Chevrolet was a great one. I was greeted warmly by Sales Consultant David Samuels, and he provided me with personalized attention. The process was enjoyable and stress free.

To all the "whiners" out there (detailing mechanical issues) "after" 100,000 miles. You don't let ANY brand of car go without "scheduled maintenance at or around 90-100,000 miles. Look at your maintenance book that came with the car. (ALL) cars have an expensive scheduled maintenance plan. If you buy a new 2024 its gonna have a $100-300 inspection and a mechanic bill of $150-175/Hr labor before parts. Some of you sound like you're suppose to be able to buy a perfect car that will never need maintenance. Really??? sheeesh. Buy an extended warranty and a new(er) car. You're the worst kind of driver to review any car. This brand is often nicknamed the "million mile" car bc it can go that far with "scheduled maintenance" of the engine wear items and oil changes. Can your Honda or Hydaui go that far??? I challenge you as a 4 VW car owner from the 2006-2014 to beat this brand of engine on highway mpg and engine longevity. Go do your homework and stop whining. My 2006 VW diesel still going at 325,000 and my 2014 Passat Tdi still going at 147,000 with the engine pistons and rings just getting seated at 90000-100,000 miles. You don't know what that means but as a diesel tech I can tell you it means it just getting its first break in period on its longevity of the engine parts. Farfenugen baby. Go VW!!!

Have had my beauty since 2014 and it's still a head turner. With over 110,000 miles, it still runs like brand new! I have never had issues with anything mechanical and have only had the one air bag recall.

A couple of years ago, I brought my Buick here for service after a disappointing experience at the dealership where I originally purchased it. The service team at Nick Abraham was incredibly kind and welcoming, which really stood out to me. Today, I returned to buy a new Buick and had another great experience. Reed was especially helpful and kind throughout the entire process. He really listened to what I wanted, and the whole experience was smooth and stress-free. I wanted to take this opportunity to give a "WELL Done" to Westend Lincoln Mercury. I was rear-ended a couple of months ago and my old 2007 Jeep survived, but had 253000 miles on it. Made the decision to upgrade my vehicle, but still needed to stay within my budget. Started looking for another Jeep and visited many different Dealerships around the Twin Cities Metro and soon became very disappointed with salesman and the non-caring attitude that were portrayed by these dealers. I saw a nice 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee at Westend Lincoln-Mercury on the internet that seemed to fit my budget. I called and talked to a gentleman named Taylor Sparks and told him that I was interested in the Jeep. I made an appointment to come up and test drive the Jeep. When I got there, Taylor had the jeep out front and it was washed and immaculately cleaned. Now we'll cut to the chase! I let Taylor know that I wanted to take a little longer test drive to get the engine/trans hot. This is typically when hidden problems will present themselves on a vehicle. Taylor went out of his way to let me test drive it as long as I needed. He did not apply any pressure to me on the vehicle, which was beautiful coming from a sales person. When we got back, the only question Taylor asked me was if I had any questions or concerns. I replied,"The only question I have is when can we start the paperwork to buy the vehicle?" If you like a real casual sales experience, without high pressure and B.S, I strongly emphasize seeing Taylor. You won't be disappointed. I'd like to send out one more "Kudos" to Gary Poff. I had a minor issue with the Jeep and talked to Gary. They did not have to help me in anyway, because I bought the Jeep "As Is". Gary listened to my concern and help me out more than I could have hoped for! The "Best" car sales experiences that I have ever had.
