Excellent dealership with great people working there. I would like to give a special mention to Bryan Olivares. Bryan is a great guy, I was going to make my way to the dealership to get my new car but had no way of getting there other than waiting in prime time for a taxi. He called me and said he would come and pick me up, no problem. That's what I call great customer service and looking after your customers, as he did not have to do that. He also sorted out the registration and the licensing for me on the car. I appreciate that and the service I received. I traded in my Buick Enclave for a VW Beetle over 6 years ago and have loved it nearly every day. The Turbo engine is fantastic. It's been a great little car. The only complaint is that it's not great (at all!) in the snow. Other than that, two thumbs up.

The car was fun to drive. With a 5cyl engine, it definitely have me the get up I needed. I didn't have much problems with her besides changing the clutch out twice. But you shouldn't have to deal with that problem if you take it to peyote who know what they are doing. My car had a couple of accidents but you would never have been able to tell. The vehicle was repaired and drove like new. If I wanted another coupe, I definitely would buy again.

This car only had 11,000 miles basically a brand new car and it’s an affordable price! Also rides very smooth I can tell it was very taken care of! Love it!

GTI's do almost everything well. Economy, performance, flexibility, holds value, road car, back roads car, safety, comfort, feature-laden and now almost $10K less than the price of the average new vehicle. Two minor flaws IMO. All GTI's should have Golf R climate controls. Standard controls too confusing and fussy. Rather set it and forgot it. DSG is "still funky after all these years." Don't get me wrong, the lightning quick shifts and in-traffic ease are compelling, but DSGs can be clunky and feel strange at low speed and can't yet read all of your intentions correctly, thus some odd decisions/shifts on occasion. Not a fault, just a thing. Otherwise brilliant. GTI is among the contenders for "best" mass-produced combustion engine car of all time. Yes, that good. If shopping the used market, I would strongly suggest one try to get a Performance Package car. Much better brakes that won't need brake service as often and stop better. Also, the electronically controlled differential aids both traction and handling.

Enjoy everything about this car except the terrible ride. Overall spring-rate is great for the track but not a normal street or highway. Looks cool but rattles your eyeballs even when driven gently. We've owned 3 GTIs since '87 and enjoyed all except for this ride issue. It also causes the sunroof screen to vibrate open as you drive.
