Alan Byer Volvo Cars review
We could not be happier with the recent service we received at Alan Byer! One of our Volvos unexpectedly had an engine issue involving burnt valves and excessive carbon build-up. Roman got it in immediately and Dustin evaluated the situation and helped us obtain good-will assistance from Volvo, thereby saving us from an otherwise very costly repair! This is a perfect example of how Long term customer relationships built on loyalty and trust pays off, as we’ve always ONLY had Alan Byer service our Volvos so they have the full history of our cars. We are always happy with our service. And we have always greatly appreciated Dustin Beauchene the service manager who always goes above and beyond to help the customers. He always does a great job at keeping us updated on what is needed on our Volvos. He is not only very knowledgeable but also absolutely trustworthy to work with. Thanks to the amazing service team at Alan Byer, we have been blessed with the peace of mind whenever we leave our cars with them, knowing everything is done correctly. Reliability, accuracy, and most importantly, Dustin and his team, are the reasons why we will continue to be loyal customers of Volvo and Alan Byer.

Alan Byer Volvo CarsReviews
2021 Volvo XC40 review
My partner wanted me to get a vehicle that availed itself of all the current self-driving and safety technologies currently on offer, and after much research, this is car I landed own. And the XC40 did not disappoint. I'm approaching my first year of ownership and comfortably say it is the best vehicle I've ever owned. With near seamless adaptable cruise control making multiple long-haul road trips as effortless as driving across town, my Volvo makes me want to drive it anywhere. Stylistically, it's a bit frustrating to now see every car on the road racing to copy its black-roof aggression, but I still get looks from folks who want to know if "that's a Volvo?" Of particular note is how the interior eschewed the trend of tacking on a giant tablet screen, opting instead for a generous dash-embedded interface that is comprehensive, intuitive and instantly responsive. I also love the app-driven features like remote start and customer temperature. The reputation for reliability is well-earned and validated. In summary, the prospect of this car one day needing to be replaced fills me with anxiety because I want to drive it forever. Well done, Volve.

2023 Volvo XC40 review
After only a month, I am truly "in love" with my XC-40. I wanted to get one a few years ago. However, Covid-19 got in the way. When it was finally time to upgrade this year, I did it and have not regretted it. Great ride, all the safety features I wanted, excellent ride and handling , above EPA rated fuel economy, roomy seating. Plenty of room for my golf equipment.

My wife and I could have not been any happier with our purchase of our new Chrysler 300. Phil Batchelor has been great over approximately the last 6 months since we bought the car. Quick and easy process but at the same time we were actually listened to and not pushed into something we didn't want. We ended up ordering our New 300 so we didn't have to pay for things we didn't want. thumbs up to burritt chrysler and to Phil. Thanks again.

NYE Chrysler Dodge Jeep RamReviews
NYE Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram review
My experience with Nye Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram was nothing short of perfect. I bought a 2021 Ram 1500. My salesperson was very knowledgeable about the truck and made sure I knew exactly what I was buying. They made the negotiation process quick and easy, getting me to the monthly payment I asked for. The transition between vehicles was seamless. Truly top shelf dealership and amazing friendly staff. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone on the fence about where to go for their next CDJR vehicle!!!

A couple of frustrating things, like a chip on the door I noticed after getting home. But generally positive.
2019 Volvo XC40 review
This car exceeds what’s most important to our family. Driver’s main cabinets and dashboard are easily available. Car identifies and responses to outside objects quickly. Such a smooth and quite ride. As noted in some reviews. The touch screen is a bit delay in response. Otherwise. It’s a great ride.

The Transfer process was unfriendly. The vehicle I was interested in had to be released from My hold and I had to wait until it came back on the website to request s transfer.
2020 Volvo XC40 review
A great car. It checked most of the boxes that I had when looking for cars at the time. I ponied up for the Polestar software upgrade and wow did that make a difference. A few reviews had said that the car was underpowered. Not any more. There are some great details and some strange ones too, but overall it's one of my favorite vehicles. Like any car these days, there are a few niggling things that Vovo can't seem to fix. The hood doesn't seem to fit correctly no matter what Vovo did. It "bangs" when you lean against it (cleaning the windscreen, etc) and when the car is jolted (potholes, etc). No amount of work seems to properly address the issue. It's 2.5 years and I've been through a set (2) batteries (main and stop/start). It is now giving me the feeling that the main battery is failing again. The stop/start has not worked consistently since I got the car. Vovo tells me I don't drive it enough to keep the battery charged. Well, I do 5 to 6K a year and if that's not enough they should say so up front. Seems to me that there is something up (or down) with the charging system. Again, I'm impressed.

Global Motors review
Amazing car buying experience, all virtually done. Delo was great he did a virtual showing for me, Showed all the flaws as expected for being a used vehicle but still made sure I'm aware of all the flaws prior to purchase. Had the car shipped to my location (5 Hours away) Less then a week of purchasing my amazing B7 S4 Avant, was sitting in my driveway with no hidden surprises! Thank you team Global for making this a simple honest car purchase!
2019 Volvo XC40 review
Head Light control can not be seen on the column at night. Stock tires were horrible. I switched to yokohama's. The rims design in terrible. There is a space behind the spokes which allows for dirt and brake dust to build up. Difficult to give a finished look when detailing. Plus I can't use the GPS. NOT convenient to communicate with. Engine noise is disturbing. Biggest thing is the TPM. Would prefer it to actually read the psi of each tire. Raises your anxiety not knowing the true pressure.

Volvo Cars Rochester review
The entire team at Volvo Cars Rochester was great to work with and I would absolutely recommend this dealership. I was an out-of-state buyer and yet I felt like I built a personal relationship with Alexandra and Joseph as we talked and texted regularly to make sure all my questions were answered and everything went as expected. This was the easiest and most pleasant vehicle purchase of my life ? even as they had the difficult job of finding me a V60 Recharge Polestar Edition which is not an easy task. Thank you to the entire Volvo Cars Rochester Team!!

When I took my car in for servicing they let me know what was happening and how much the cost would be right away. They said it would be done in a timely manner and it was and car was done even a little before. They are my go to's for service on my Volvo.
2023 Volvo XC40 review
This is my 2nd XC40 and it is one of the most perfect cars but its by no means cheap. The car can be as loaded as its bigger brother, except for heads up display. They all use the same engines, with the exception of turbo types, and bi-turbo options. All Volvos are moving to mild hybrid as standard and all 2023 XC40's are now mild hybrids. The XC40 is nimble, loaded and well designed. It has just about every feature including all wheel drive, Google auto, panoramic sunroof, power tail gate, and leather seats, redesigned for 2023. It is stylish, detailed and not meant to feel like the entry model. In fact, it can cost more than its bigger brother the XC60! Driving it is a pleasure as it is preppy and confident.

The team at Volvo Cars Rochester is second to none. From the first time I set foot in this dealership, I was greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable staff and found the dealership to be a welcoming place. Having purchased 4 cars from BEST Volvo and now Volvo Cars Rochester, I am happy to say that the service after the sale has been outstanding from day one. The team goes out of their way to assist you, they keep you updated as to the status of your vehicle throughout the repair, and you're never confronted with unpleasant surprises. I am grateful to the whole team for keeping my car in great working order and for always being such terrific people to work with!

Love the tech in this car. Maps, adaptive cruise, auto high beam, lane warning, hybrid averaging 31 mpg. Still good power with the turbo. Excellent sound including the Bluetooth.

Volvo Cars Rochester review
Excellent multiple experiences with Service. VCR replaced the failed battery on my S60 R-Design last winter and reported some codes they found stored. We agreed that given the car's perfect performance, intermittent failure codes were probably a result of the battery going dead. Since the codes indicated a potential $900 repair, we agreed to reset and watch for the time being. No attempt to oversell at all. 6 months later, needed oil change, new plugs - standard stuff. As we expected, no codes stored from previous potential problem. VCR, being an official Volvo dealer, is not going to be an inexpensive place to take your Volvo for work. But their prices IMHO are reasonable and the work is done properly. In Rochester, they are the only Volvo dealer, and have 3 Volvo Master Techs on staff. Unfailingly polite and professional in every way!
