This is my third Volvo and my favorite model of the three. It is the perfect car for me. It is a very comfortable car to drive. I love the design of the car. It has a lot of storage in the back. It has an easy system to pop down the seats for bigger loads. My XC 60 is a super nice looking car on the exterior too. It is a great car for around town and has also been perfect for longer road trips.

They got back to me very quickly when I inquired about a Buick Enclave that they had. They were willing to send pictures and answer any questions I may have. My one downside was after the initial conversation, they never got back with me or asked to set up a test drive.

Gorgeous inside and out and brilliantly designed. This car purrs when you accelerate. Not only is it the safest car on the road, its luxurious and fun to drive.

We are from out of state and it was a wonderful experience. This is a beautiful car. Our car is the mid level. Not totally sure it is as luxurious as it's price point. Drives and feels very nice. Feels nimble and safe. Visibility all around is great. Safety features such as the pacing cruise control and lane management are excellent. The gage cluster is minimal with a lot of empty space where they should have put a real fuel gage, not the miniscule 4 dashes that go unlit as the fuel is used. The car has no written user manual. It relies on a very limited one on board which cannot be accessed when the car is moving. Hybrid system is not immediately understood how to make it perform well. Bu once you solve that puzzle it is really good. We found a complete 900 page one on line that goes into the detail we wanted. Also the on board one does not have an index so you get to hunt and guess to find what topic your question is under. This was a major frustration for us. The back seats are very firm, which was surprising at this price point. That is why I knocked the comfort level down. Front seats are wonderful. Lots of rear leg room though. There is a lot of room behind the second row seats when the 3rd row is down, and this suits our travel cargo needs very well. 360 camera is excellent. Fit and finish is superb. The turn signal stalk has too many functions such as head light control. A switch on the dash would be much better easily showing which mode the headlights are in. The various functions are not as intuitive to control or find. There is a learning curve, not a difficult curve, but just jumping into drive it might be the wrong approach. Perhaps it is standard Volvo like not standard BMW like as we were used to. Now that we know the car better we would buy it again.

The car has really nice performance and drives very nicely but a few quirks. First the manuals are only available digitally and in many cases it’s a complex game to find what you are looking for. The search function is not forgiving. In other cases the information is weak and missing key elements. Some settings are sticky (rain sensor for the wipers), others are not ( auto high-beams), with no rationale. The controls on the left side of the steering wheel are a mystery and the customization on the dash board view is either: show the map or don’t show the map ( which disappears when you shift into reverse). The sound controls for the radio are lacking: no fader or balance controls. Lastly, if you want your garage door opener controls integrated into the car, be prepared to shell out another $995.

First test drive the XC90 T8 very impressive with the performance, drove home on the highway car had a lot of vibration, I didn't expect neither suspected the tires of the brand new car would do that, for about 2 months I still still driving the car around town the vibration didn't bother me too much my first initial thought was the steering technology or how it worked then my AC is not working schedule an appointment going to take about 2 weeks in about 1 week later it working fine, I took it to get checked anyway, they replaced the compressor and new refrigerants , I took a long trip in the sommer, AC not working again, this time they changed the capacitor because it intermittent, in about 20000 miles the rechargeable battery wouldn't charge, dealer replaced the charger cable, now at 30000 miles the battery intermittent charging again, it takes two weeks to schedule in order for me to have a loaner to drive home, first time own European car and I did aware of the Volvo electrical issues but that was in the early 2000's, overall I enjoyed the car, handling and performance is great, the technology in there is helping my long drive alot and stuck in traffic PS: I still giving Volvo chance and pray for theirs engineers to get theirs act together.

AMAZING SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!! I start off with those three words so even if you don't read this whole review you get the point. We were traveling through Augusta GA after evacuating from hurricane Ida that had just devastated the New Orleans area. All warning lights popped up on the dash of my 2016 VW Jetta SEL and the vehicle went in to limp mode. Zero power over 35mph. On top of the destruction of hurricane Ida back home in New Orleans now I have a car that just basically gave up on me. The already pit in my stomach became even larger and only the worst case scenarios were going through my head now. A Google search leads me to the amazing team at Gerald Jones Volkswagen and the magic begins. Expecting at least a two or three day hotel stay in Augusta my service advisor Charles Davis takes me in to his service drive and assures me that everything will be alright and immediately puts one of his top techs named Mr. Chris on the case. Turns out it was as simple as a wheel speed sensor that the parts specialist Candace Betsch had sitting on the shelf in the parts department. While waiting on my vehicle to be repaired and strolling through the new car showroom I was greeted by the nicest young lady by the name of Vickie McPhee who introduced herself as the General Manager and was just as sweet as could be making sure that I was doing okay with a true concern about our safety during this hurricane evacuation. She even went as far as to introduce me to one of the owners Mr. David Jones and we had a great conversation as well. Next thing I know my service advisor Charles was standing next to me telling me that the speed sensor had already been replaced and my vehicle after being washed and run through quality control was ready to go. This my friends is one heck of a car dealership that has employed a team of people that truly care about their customers no matter where they are from or what dealership the vehicle was purchased. Keep up the good work and "job well done!"

So I have to leave a review about Brad! The energy and approach of the entire team is personable without pressure or haggling. Also specifically I was going through a big health transition and they made sure I didn’t have to add any concern with the character of the sales experience. Brad made sure I was taken care of, communicated well and wanted me to have no gray area about the details involved in the sale. Another part of this is my old vehicle had come to its end and I was concerned on multiple levels and for them as a team to express naturally a humanity and authentic engagement was comforting to say the least! My partner wanted me to get a vehicle that availed itself of all the current self-driving and safety technologies currently on offer, and after much research, this is car I landed own. And the XC40 did not disappoint. I'm approaching my first year of ownership and comfortably say it is the best vehicle I've ever owned. With near seamless adaptable cruise control making multiple long-haul road trips as effortless as driving across town, my Volvo makes me want to drive it anywhere. Stylistically, it's a bit frustrating to now see every car on the road racing to copy its black-roof aggression, but I still get looks from folks who want to know if "that's a Volvo?" Of particular note is how the interior eschewed the trend of tacking on a giant tablet screen, opting instead for a generous dash-embedded interface that is comprehensive, intuitive and instantly responsive. I also love the app-driven features like remote start and customer temperature. The reputation for reliability is well-earned and validated. In summary, the prospect of this car one day needing to be replaced fills me with anxiety because I want to drive it forever. Well done, Volve.
