(instrumental music) <v Dave>The 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer is a good looking option in a highly competitive compact class. You get all the looks starting under $15,000, but the top of the line GTS you see here will cost over 17,000.
No matter which trim you choose, the 2008 Lancer has some radical styling. In the Lancer GTS we have some interesting features like stereo controls on the steering wheel. And overall, there are some cheap bits and pieces here. Button up here on the dash is a little rough, same with the handholds on the doors, but the really nice, expensive feeling features are the most important parts like the steering wheel and the shift knob, which has a nice leather wrapping and boot. So there are some really nice touches. Underneath the AC controls it lights up at night. So you can see your iPod or whatnot, which plugs in right there. All the dials are nice knobs and they turn with the good ratchets and clicks. So you can feel them working. And the stereo is excellent. It's an excellent option. We definitely say, if you have to opt for one thing, probably go with the stereo. Sixes changer, and again, with an iPod connector under there, or MP3 player. The gate is really good looking, very sporty. Everything about the car kind of exude sportiness. It does handle more like a compact than a sports car of course but at least you can feel like you're driving a sports car. (engine revving) (tires screech) (rock music)
