Next Genesis G70 Gets Updates, Inside and Out
The Genesis G70 wowed us so much when it debuted that we named it Cars.com’s Best of 2019 vehicle — but the Hyundai luxury division isn’t resting on the laurels of past accolades. The brand just announced that a lightly revised version of the luxury compact sports sedan is coming, with updates to its exterior styling and a new multimedia system.

Exterior
The next G70 gets a tweaked face that makes it look even more dramatic thanks to a lower, stretched version of its crest grille. Its body takes on a more athletic appearance with side air ducts and a muscly character line.
Interior
Inside, the big news is a new multimedia system with a 10.25-inch screen. The brand says this version features an exclusive Genesis design (the current model uses a very Hyundai-looking infotainment setup). The new unit will also offer over-the-air wireless updates.
Release Date
Genesis didn’t release other specifications but said the new G70 will go on sale in the automaker’s home country of South Korea in October. No word on when the U.S. model will arrive, but Genesis said it will reveal more details next month.
