I BEEN DEALER WITH THIS DEALERSHIP AND WOULD NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE.. THE CAR WASH CLEAN THEY INSTALLED THE RECALLED PUMP. THE TIME THEY SAID WOULD IT WOULD TAKE WAS RIGHT ON. JARED MAKER YOU FEEL IMPORTANT, i LIKE WORKING WITH HIM.

Meeting my new service consultant, Erik Schneider
When I scheduled an appointment for service, I learned that my preferred consultant, Steven Storey, was no longer with the Dealership. When I arrived I am very pleased to say that Erik Schneider met me with a friendly smile and immediately got the service started. He was efficient, briefed me on the vehicle condition report and at my request, scheduled an appointment to correct discrepancies. I have had all service conducted by this Dealership for 12 years and have been thoroughly satisfied.

I was yin for my 60,000 mile service with Jared Young.
Pulled in for my service and was immediately greeted. The service was done in a timely manner. The loaner was clean and full of gas. At the end, Jared reviewed everything that was completed for this 60k maintenance. We also developed a plan for getting some cosmetic work to be done later. Jared was very helpful. The courtesy wash is always appreciated.

1st issue with Lexus (service)
I purchased a 2017 Certified Lexus RX350 on July 7th, 2019 and was informed that the vehicle was in ABSOLUTE PERFECT condition with bumper to bumper warranty for additional 2 yrs with unlimited mileage on top of original warranty (perfect buying experience). Well, this is my 2nd Certified Lexus I have purchased (one at Hendrick Lexus Charlotte,NC, this one from Charleston). Never ever had any mechanical issues with a LEXUS other than replacing worn tires. Well, went on a mountain trip over than 4th of July (less than a year after purchasing) and the vehicle began to shimmy/vibrate when braking. Took to dealership just knowing it would be taken care of (appt on July 24th...earliest I could get it into dealership for service) and was advised the brake pads are fine but front rotors needed re-surfacing and that WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY (no way rotors should need service and I've driven the car less than a FULL YEAR after purchasing). Wanted $233 to JUST RE-SURFACE front rotors!! Very dis-satisfied with this verdict (it's normal wear and tear)...Nope I bought Lexus Certified (not cheap vehicle $$$) knowing that Lexus stood behind their product...I THOUGHT?? Getting NEW ROTORS (not re-surfaced) and NEW PADS for $225 labor and all from another shop.

Professional service as expected and promised
We have been customers of Charleston Lexus for many years and have always expected the best in customer service. The service department has had many excellent service writers over the years to help us with our needs. Jared Young is "our" latest service writer and continues the great support we have come to expect for our Lexus. I prefer to call and talk with the service writer myself and Jared always answers my questions and provide the information I need and schedules the work in the timeframes I need. Professional and courteous, he represents the quality we expect from the dealership and Lexus.

Happy with the understanding and prompt response to our need
Eric was very helpful and deserves credit for outstanding customer service. We needed a new battery. With the danger of the virus we were concerned and wanted to get out of there ASAP. We understand that all business are laboring under difficult conditions so we tried to be patient. however, after one hour and fifteen minutes I asked about our car. When we learned that it was still waiting in the lot, we raised our concern, citing our desire to leave due to our worries about prolonging exposure (we stay very close to home these days). Eric immediately stepped into the situation, with understanding and patience, got us a loaner and we were able to leave. I like this Lexus dealership. I trust them and will buy another car from them soon. And here is something they should know... they can tell me if they're too busy and I would understand. I could have waited another day, I would not be upset. I fully understand the pressures and financial situation businesses face. And I fully understand having to have the cash to pay employees. It's OK with me if they have to say no. And I think a testament to this dealership is the way Eric performed his duties. He is a real asset. his simple gesture, realizing our concern for lingering any longer, was thoughtful and highly professional. Thank you again, Eric!
