Great experience with AutoNation!
Great experience buying a pre-owned car at AutoNation Honda of Sanford Florida. The sales person (Mike D) was very knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. They gave me a fair trade on my 14 year old car, and the 3 year old car I bought was a real cream puff, and expertly detailed by the dealership. Only negative was I didn?t get a full tank of fuel (not sure if they do that on pre-owned vehicles) and the music in the showroom was way too loud, I think they do that on purpose so you can?t overhear other conversation in the salesmen bullpen. I much prefer dealership where the salesman have individual desks for privacy. But other then those minor issues, I would strongly recommend this dealership and I would go to them again!

Rodents nest
When hurricane ian hit my car had 6 error messages on the dash relating to power steering and the brake system. Took it to holler Honda on colonial and they said it was the power steering and that was what needed to be replaced in order for my car to work. Mind you? I tried going through my insurance as flood but they said it had nothing to do with flooding. The dealership wanted me to pay $4000 to repair the power steering. I did not have that kind of money and had my car towed back to my house. 3 months later I finally had money to hopefully pay for the repairs and had it towed out onto the auto nation Honda in Sanford. I had the tech Matthew who kept in contact with me throughout the ENTIRE repair. I loved the open communication. Come to find out it was actually a rodents nest in my undercarriage and they chewed through the wiring that was giving me the errors on my dash. This was a $700 fixed compared to a $4000 fix that would not have done anything if I had them do the repair. I am very thankful for Matthew and the service crew for fixing my car as I am a first time mother with a 2 week old newborn. I will be coming back to use their services anytime I have an issue with my car as they are more thorough with their diagnostics.

General maintenance
Kenny was my service advisor and was very friendly. I brought my car in for an oil change and after doing the multi point inspection it was found I needed a few more services than just the oil change. Nothing major, just new air filters, brake fluid, tires rotated and balanced and wiper blades. I'm not sure if the techs had to disassemble the whole car to do all of this but the labor costs ended up being double of what the cost of the parts were. Kenny did find me a coupon to use but the sticker shock was well.... I'm still in shock.
