repair

I've been buying,selling, and servicing my vehicles from dealers across the state and NY since 1958 and there has never been a dealer in my opinion that can match the service of Orlando Mini or Fields BMW. I have never had to bring a vehicle back to redo work. I attribute this to employees the likes of Mike Torres, GM and their service manger Garrett Bowling. Whenever I have a question or problem pertaining to my vehicles which include an 09 Clubman and a 08 Z4 they exceed my expectations. BTW I started dealing with Fields BMW since 1989 and Orlando Mini (previously Downtown Mini) since Fields acquired them and both operations are second to none.

Very good!

Once they found out I was interested in a specific car they emailed me straight away in a very friendly manner. Unfortunately I do not live in Florida and so couldn't see the car for myself.

Please reconsider

First, if you are looking to buy a Mini, please reconsider. I have never owned a vehicle with more problems then the one I have. I genuinely wish that I had spoken to more people and done more research; I would not be in the stressful situation that I am now. Second, if you do decide to get a Mini, consider taking it to another place for service because this place is awful. My mini breaks down about every 3-5 months so I have had to come often to their service department. I always walk out with the problem temporarily fixed or not fixed at all. How does a professional look you in the face and say "I don't know why you lost pressure in your brakes and half the fluid is gone but it seems fine now; just come back if it happens again." Seriously? I DONT KNOW. It's a phrase that rolls off easily for them. Like when they told me I don't know why your windshield had that huge crack in it or I don't know how those grease and scratch marks that from one end of the bumper to other... Is there any way I could pick up my car and it NOT be in worst condition then when I left it? I DONT KNOW.

Commute from Saint Augustine to Orlando NOT A PROB

My girlfriend has owned a 2007 Mini Cooper S exclusively since the day it rolled off the lot. She is a very easy on the vehicle in contrast to myself as I am more aggressive on my cars. This Mini, and the ownership that comes with it, has been a bit of a learning experience for me as I have only ever owned American or Japanese manufacturers. When a service is needed or something needs repairs, I never settle for anything other than the manufacturer's service departments to insure that the vehicle is serviced by experienced and knowledgeable mechanics that are familiar with all the nuances a vehicle may have. I will NEVER go to the Jacksonville, FL Mini Service station again as nearly all the service that has been provided was slow on implementation, misdiagnosed (for over a year), communication skills to the customer borderline disrespectful and finally difficult to coordinate around a very ridiculous schedule. (Mechanics with bankers hours practically!) Orlando Mini was a breath of fresh air almost immediately with our service liason Adante Cameron. I unfortunately have HORRIBLE scheduling, do not always get across all of my concerns in one call due to unforeseen circumstances or request additional information as a service progresses. Adante answered "ALL" or "RETURNED" every voice mail that was left with him about our service visit. I can place our call quantity around 4-8 calls in one afternoon over the span of 3-5 hours. Every call I made revolved around service cost quotation and updates, mechanical knowledge and alternative perspectives regarding the service options available and finally education regarding Mini specific mechanical issues. EVERY TIME I talked with him he provided me an answer that satisfied my concerns and was also a correct assessment regarding the vehicle as opposed to the Jacksonville Service Team's diagnoses. If it were not for Adante and his coordination with his mechanic servicing my girlfriend's Mini (I truly wish I could remember his name to give him credit as well), her engine would have literally blown up. Those of you that are not familiar with engines and mechanical function, please find someone to trust, and I find this dealership to be that place. This engine's timing chain was on the verge of breaking and had been misdiagnosed as, "Requiring more oil", for over a year. The charges for labor and parts for a task like this is indeed not cheap per se, but had this part failed while the vehicle was driving at highway speeds, it would be an entirely new engine, and not a simple part replacement as had been executed there at the Orlando Mini Service Department. So for this initial engagement where I became more involved with communicating with this Mini Service Department, I say thank you to Adante and his associates for saving my girlfriend's car from a very costly misdiagnosis. I will always make the drive from Saint Augustine, FL to Orlando, FL from now on to have this vehicle serviced.

Great People - Service, Sales, Staff

This is the fifth MINI we have owned - the wife loves them; and the second one purchased from MINI Orlando. The sales rep (Sam) was attentive and while a little new to the dealership, was great to work with - listening and offering suggestions. Follow-up service has been exceptional - they worked me in to their schedule due to a run flat tire with a screw. A loaner was provided until a tire was delivered. They seem to be very concenscious of the customer's needs from the time you drive up to follow-up emails.

Great service, beautiful comfortable showroom!

My buying experience was speedy and fantastic. Sam Allegra was very knowledgable, polite, and friendly. I love my Countryman Mini! Roomier and a little bigger than my first tiny Mini but still so much fun to drive. The financing experience was fast and had a variety of options to fit my budget. Love the cookies and coffee! Mini Cooper Fun Includes Orlando MINI Dealership

We were shopping for a new car for my daughter and her heart was set on a Mini Cooper. I tried to convince her on a more sensible car but reluctantly agreed to a Mini test drive as part of the decision process. I usually dread the auto dealerships while car shopping but the Orlando MINI experience was completely different from the start. The salesperson, Jim L., was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and understanding. The Mini test drive was so much fun that the next dealership test drive was disappointing. We decided on a Mini and the rest of the process (negotiation, finance, delivery) was the best car buying experience of my lifetime. The Mini Cooper is so much fun and economical to drive that I returned a month later to Orlando MINI and bought my own! Both Minis have been very reliable but recently a truck dropped a tree branch that pierced through my daughters radiator. Again I was pleasantly surprised as the service department bent over backwards to get her back on the road in a hurry. Orlando MINI is clean, well run, and full of nice folks dedicated to customer satisfaction. And the Mini Cooper makes provides a smile on every drive!

Amazing experience buying our Mini Countryman

We just bought our first Mini, a Countryman at Orlando Mini. We were extremely impressed at how pleasant and professional the sales staff and management were. This is not your average car buying experience at all. They went above and beyond to get us exactly what we wanted, at the most competitive pricing. We got an amazing deal! The selection is huge. There was no pressure at all to buy. They present the facts and let you decide. They were incredibly helpful and know their product well. The customer service is far beyond anything we have ever experienced, the standards are higher than at any dealership we have ever encountered. The facilities at the dealership are very comfortable and professional. They also have a huge very experienced service department, which makes it easy to get appointments, when necessary. The Countryman is incredible to drive, roomy, loaded with extras, beautiful, fun and a top safety pick. It handles better than any car we have ever had. We just drove it a bit for the first time today and got 31 mpg in the City! This is the place to go! Thank You! Orlando Mini!

Never called me back...

Great customer service and they give you true price instead of playing around with numbers. But they never called us back even though they promised to call us back to let us know the status. Because of that, they lost my business and I bought a car from another dealershop following week.

Almost bought a new mini

Went looking for a new car, and love the mini, had one years earlier and was ready for another. Found the car and started the negotiation process. I stated twice when we started that i wanted different rims and to add stripes, and wanted both of these included. After meeting three people to negotiate with me, we where at a price. Was filling out the paperwork and the sales man mentioned that he could get me set up with service to purchase the stripes. I had been up front with what I needed and they where now going to nickel and dime me to death. I walked out for a $185 diference, but more than that, I walked out feeling that this dealership played games when they negotiated and just dont want to deal with a dealership like that. This was moving into leasing and a new mini every som many years and wanted a dealership I could trust and if you negotiate like this, you are going to do the same in service.
