This visit was much better than previous visits. . If I didn’t already have prepaid my service, I wouldn’t bring my car here. The actual work on the vehicle is fine, the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I am always left to feel as if they are doing me a favor instead of appreciating me as a customer.

I decided to try Lucas Honda after receiving a mailer from them (I believe it came via my HondaLink). At first I wasn’t sure I was going to have a good experience, but then John approached to help me with my car. He’s extremely polite and straightforward. Tony drove me to/from the dealership and he was great as well. He knew I had to get back to work for a conference call and thought ahead to call the dealership to let them know when we were around the corner so they could have my paperwork ready. Thanks to him, I was in and out in 5 min and back within 10 minutes of my call. John and Tony really made this a good experience for me. I usually take my car to an Acura dealership since that’s where I bought it and I got good service, so I didn’t mind paying more. But now I’ll be bringing it to Lucas Honda. Also, after my service at Lucas Honda my car drives extremely smooth - it’s like it’s a brand new car again and the new brakes they installed are really nice. I didn’t think I’d be able to tell a difference with the brakes really, but I can.

Lucas Honda has a problem with their phone system. I called about 30 times (on my landline phone) for a service appointment and always got a busy signal. I finally Emailed John Keene, the Service Mgr., and he called me back and we made an appointment. As usual, the service personnel were courteous and efficient and the car was done in about an hour. John and I decided that since I was a Windstream/Kinetic customer and Lucas was also, there must be a problem with Windstream (the landline telephone company).. I called him on my cell phone (Consumer Cellular) and there was no problem.
