I have been coming to Principle Volvo since 2004 when my car was delivered there via the overseas delivery program. I was returning from being stationed in Germany. I have also bought another preowned certified Volvo from there in 2024 at a great price. This time I brought my car in since I heard a thumping and the AC had to be all the way up one day while out with friends. I wasn?t sure if the AC was a problem since it occurred once. The technician found a leak in both the front and back evaporators and both were repaired with new parts under warranty. The advisor informed me that was a $7000 repair. I appreciate that they honestly made the repair and I like the video that is made of the time with the repair tech. I also like that many advisors have been there a long time and recognize and talk with me when I go in. I also am grateful for the military discounts and loyalty discounts. Before leaving, the car was washed very nicely. My brother purchased a Volvo in NC after seeing how reliable, strong, and safe the care is.

The service department provided me with a video of the inspection of my car. Maintenance issues were shown and discussed. A detailed summary of each repair was provided at the completion of the service. The valet option made it possible for me to leave my car in San Antonio for several days while repairs were made. I live several hours away. Everyone in the service department at Principle was helpful, accommodating, and polite. I hope my Volvo will probably still be running when I am long gone!

I dropped the car off for my 9:30am oil change.

I dropped the car off for my 9:30am oil change. The estimate was about 2 to 2.5 hours for the 10k service and tire rotation. I received a text message at noon saying my car was ready for pickup. So, I drove back to the dealership with the loaner car an hour later and was told it had yet to go through the car wash which should be another 20-30 minutes. As it had already been documented on my paperwork as completed, I wanted it done so I said I would wait. It was another hour at 2pm when my car finally pulled up in the service driveway ready for me to take it away. Now that I have the car back the wheel has to be turned very slightly left to drive straight.
