Truck suffered an unscheduled propulsion aversion event. On-Star roadside assistance dropped off the truck at Group 1 GMC Southwest, where Carlos took over and diagnosed the issue right away. They addressed some recall items, repaired the vehicle, rotated the tires, and washed it up for me. Was ready to pick up much quicker than I expected. All appears to be in good order. I made an online appointment for the 70K mile service.
I made an online appointment for the 70K mile service. Among the 3 price choices, i chose the middle one, 10+ items supposely to be done for $119.95. However, they practically only did an oil change, charged me $95.92 without any explanations. They didn't even pretend to find a reason to under-deliver. I guess the online appointment packages are just false advertising to lull you in, so they can make money off you. If i knew all i am getting is an oil change, i can go to my neighborhood mechanic shop, pay half the price and a lot more convenience.
