Geoff Floyd is a super representative for Kia in Harrisonburg!! You would expect him to be very helpful during the purchasing phase (& he was), but h...e also has been wonderful afterward. When I have had questions, he promptly returns my calls & has done everything possible to make my transition to a new Kia a wonderful experience.
After trading up for a newer SUV this past weekend, I have to concur with the majority of other reviewers that this is a great place to do business! ...By the end of my visit I had met most of the small team of staff here, and all were exceptionally friendly and professional. Avery, Ahmed, and Tanner were particularly awesome to work with. It was a low pressure, up-front, car buying experience that felt like a mom & pop shop.
The service department gave us royal treatment and top-notch technical work. Highly recommend them! We will definitely return for future needs for our... KIA. It was a very pleasant experience!

My husband and I were along for moral support for our daughter who was purchasing her first "adult" car. She was paying cash. The salesman, Ricardo, w...as great but as soon as he turned us over to the Sales Manager, Ahmed, the transaction immediately became condescending and insulting. His sales tactics were old school and intended to confuse customers, which did not work on us and is totally insulting because he obviously believed it would. Ahmed started by saying that he doesn't have any wiggle room and can maybe give us $100 off. I've gotten larger discounts on a purse! Eventually, we got him to $188 off in writing. Then my husband asked about the paperwork showing that the 2015 Kia Sportage is certified. Ahmed looked at us in horror and said "who said that car is certified?" Well the website says it's certified and Ricardo said it's certified. He left us for 10 minutes and came back saying that it wasn't certified and that the information on the website was incorrect but that he would "do us a favor " and put it through the certification process since the website showed that. He later followed that up and told us he could no longer afford the $188 off and that we could take it uncertified if we wanted the discount. My daughter was ready to purchase, even though we were getting no real money off the sticker price, until he took back his pitiful $188. We walked. Ricardo and the General Manager, Jake, came to our car and tried to save the deal offering another $100 (totaling $288) and the certification. My daughter made the very wise decision to pass on a car she loved and really wanted. I'm sure we can find the car elsewhere at the same price but if not, we would rather pay more to a dealer who treats customers with respect. When we first sat down with Ricardo we explained that we had shopped a lot, knew what the car was worth, did not want to spend hours "negotiating " and would like their best price. We didnt want their ridiculous specs on why their price was valid and how many people had looked at the vehicle on line. What did we get as soon as we sat down with Ahmed? We got all the things we didn't want and didn't get the things we do want which is an honest, straightforward deal on a car that my daughter had decided to buy with cash prior to walking into the office. My best advice is DO NOT DEAL WITH STEVEN KIA. If you must, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT DEAL WITH AHMED.

I would recommend this place to anyone searching for a car. My husband and I live three hours away. We also work very long days. Geoff worked with my ...husband over text and the phone to get the price we wanted and even went above and beyond and drove the car half way to him taking our trade in back. Customer service is amazing here. Buying process was extremely easy, they are completely honest and up front with their prices unlike other dealers with all the rebates included than take them away when you walk in the door.! We’ll be back next time we need another car!
I was surprised to see the small $499 processing fee sign inside the dealership. This is outrageous. What happened to the square deal with just negoti...ating price. I would encourage anyone to buy from an owner to avoid all of these fees. To advertise no hidden fees, transparent buying and then justify with a small sign inside is deceptive. No dealer buys for me. BTW, found a great truck from a local man....no processing fees. Salesman Sai was however excellent.
