We had schedule an appt for our Tiguan to get check due
We had schedule an appt for our Tiguan to get check due to burning oil and having white exhaust smoke. Appt was made on Monday for a Friday appt. We dropped our vehicle off on Friday at 8am- no one touched the vehicle until 2:50 in the afternoon (I can tell this due to doors begin open/ unlocked from my VW app notifications)! The dealership then called me (even though we asked for them to call my husband- they did call him after I asked them to again due to being at work) at 4:37 pm- this call can from a front desk personnel. She informed us that the cylinder heads need replaced for $5,500 but could not give us any further information. I am VERY disappointed that a call about a repair this large is not coming from someone that could answer questions! We headed to the dealership right after I was done with work at 5:00- with us arriving there around 5:20. We requested to speak with a serviceman/ service manager/ general manager and were told EVERYONE was gone for the day/ weekend. I requested that we get a callback from the service manager on Monday and have heard nothing! Then when I went to my vehicle I noted that the check engine was lite up- this was not lit up when I dropped it off! We did get a call Monday afternoon to make an appointment to have this looked at/ fix this but are currently out if town and cannot get it in.
