Bought a Certified pre owned vehicle that was 2 years old

Bought a Certified pre owned vehicle that was 2 years old and 47k miles. The car lost compression in the engine the SAME DAY WE BOUGHT IT. Leaving my 9 month pregnant wife stranded on the side of the road. I'm disgusted to say the least.

I will never buy another vehicle or have anything

I will never buy another vehicle or have anything serviced by them. They've cost me approximately $4000 in dealer repairs . I now have proof of the charges for parts (TIPM) that I paid and they never changed. Also cost me approximately another $4000 in parts and repairs from private garages. Had the truck towed there for electrical problems and tried killing a few birds with one stone. so they were going to do the recall repairs at the same time. On this visit it was diagnosed the TIPM was bad , fuel pump burnt up from constant running. Recall was a gas tank strap and tightening of pinion nut. Well turns out the never changed the TIPM . This is the original and I have proof . Now I don't believe they changed the fuel pump. The Pinion nut was over tightened and over the next month the rear developed a terrible hum and vibration. Took it to another garage . The rear was shot , things got warped and bearing and gears were damage( I personal seen the parts falling out). This week started experiencing electrical problems again. Turns out The Buhler installed viper alarm system, had a non weather proof relay put under the hood. Well this relay shorted out and burnt out the original TIPM for real this time. DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR TO THESE BUTCHERS FOR REPAIRS!!!!!!

The best experience I’ve had leasing a Jeep.

The best experience I’ve had leasing a Jeep. Joe Nitti was fair, courteous and professional. I got exactly the car I wanted. All in all everything went like clockwork. I will definitely lease my next car at Buhler with Joe.

Highly recommend Buhler

Dropped off my TRX for service on Monday, I spoke with Joe who was very helpful & knowledgeable. He told me it would be done in a day or so. This morning he called me to tell me it was ready. It couldn’t of been any easier or faster. Truck is perfect! I highly recommend Joe in service and Buhler. Thanks again Joe

Wasted time

i want to tell you my negative experience with scammers from Buhler & Bitter Jeep Chrysler Dodge RAM , Hazlet, NJ. (Sales consultant Joseph Nitti). Tried to trade my 2020 Dodge Durango RT for a 22 SRT. I ordered a car in February, discussed the price and monthly payment, paid a deposit. After 6 months of waiting, the car finally arrived in August. When I came to pick up my car, the first thing the salesman said was we almost sold your car (ha ha ha). When I took the car for a test drive, I saw that there were already about 40 miles on the odometer and the maximum speed was 98 miles (they gave my car to someone for a test drive). When it came to payments, they increased my payment by $200 per month, which is about $15,000 in 6 years. I didn't take the car because I don't want to deal with liars and overpay such an amount for an already used car. Maybe they had already made an agreement with someone else who drove the car and was ready to overpay for it, so they wanted to F…xx me. I do not recommend doing business with this dealer and consultant .

Meh.

Meh. Service has a major attitude. We started going here when we moved to the area, but they are either too busy to care, or they don't like their jobs. They wouldn't know this about us, but we are a "car family". My father worked at a dealer in service his entire career, our son is a mechanic, and we own a classic car that we work on ourselves. Sometimes it's easier to bring a car to a dealer to have things done, but we KNOW cars and don't need to be insulted, treated with disrespect or worse- told some BS. Because of their miserable and holier-than-thou attitudes (don't question them or you'll see what we mean) that we've experienced on multiple occasions, we've decided we're never going back to have our cars serviced at Buhler (we own 3 Jeeps by the way) and that brand new $60k Grand Cherokee that we are going to be purchasing next month is most definitely not coming from here.

Tips!

First rate … Chris D is off the chart talented . Makes you feel like your friends for 20 years a hard trait to have in these times. Credit manager who has been there for 30 years is a pillar of info and a guy who gets things done.

keep away

Horrible experience . I just purchased my vehicle less then a month ago and have had multiple issues that they have been reluctant to fix them. I purchased a 2016 Dodge Challenger for 24k , it only had 34k miles on it. Emil helped through the process he was friendly and made the process easy (NOTE: i paid asking price they wouldn't negotiate at all) after paying asking price , the same day i heard a noise that ended up being the driveshaft ! They replaced it for me but that made me suspicious . I don't think their mechanic ever looked at the car and did a road test. The next day my window wouldn't stop opening and closing , i found a way to get out the passenger side but it was still open a crack and i was scared it would get water damage. Once again i called Emil who quickly changed his tone and did not want to fix it , he said it was a used car and i would have to pay half.I convinced him it was the right thing to fix it being i just purchased it . I understand its used but for 23k everything for the first few months should be in working order , and if theres things that needed repair upon purchase i should have been made aware. Now today i realized my sunroof and trunk are leaking , it came to my attention after a carwash, also my back up came sporadically docent work. The dealership made it clear after they repaired the window situation they they didn't want to here about any other issues as if im the problem . They don't have any integrity over there , i would stand clear of this place. i hope they're are willing to fix the sunroof issue without giving me a hassle . But we will see how they respond , the reviews up here for them to see and reply too . i hope they do the right thing . Ill keep you's updated but i was very disappointed . I also forgot to mention they mailed my plates to someone else then i had to go get my plates from another customer cause they mailed me theirs. Hr drive for me. They would have mailed out a return slip for the plates then mailed me out my correct ones but my temp plates expire tomorrow and if i get a ticket , i would be responsible .

I purchased a 2022 from Buhler, on February, and was treated fairly and respectfully. Do yourself a favor and ask for Joan Gallup. She was knowledgeable, honest, and truthful. She shepherded me through a difficult deal, carefully explained the options, numbers and The Who process was stress free.
