It was the most exciting car buying experience of my life. From the immediate focused attention of the sales team to the thrill of test driving the zi...ppy mini-s, I was in 7th Heaven. I know I am good hands with Northwest MINI and I know I am part of a new family.
Steve understood exactly what I needed and made it happen within my budget. The entire process was hassle free and the most pleasant experience I have... had in buying a new car (I have bought a few). I loved my old mini, but my new 2017 Countryman is hands down the best car I have ever had. Steve took care of all the details over the phone and I received the best customer service I have ever experienced. I highly, highly recommend him. Angela McGinnis
Hi, Angela! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are happy to hear that you're loving your MINI and that everything went well wh...ile you were working with Steve. Thank you again for your review. Congratulations on your new MINI. Please let us know if you need anything.
Started with a brand new 2014 S Hardtop, what a fun car, then Steve helped me upgrade to a 2017 Mini Coop S Hartop, which turned out to be Perfect, th...e interior the exterior, I could go on and on, the car is not only the funest car to drive but it???s got my personality thanks to Steve knowing what fits my lifestyle.. Steve knows how to make a Mini ???your Mini???
Steve was great, he worked with me even when he was busy juggling with other customers as I waited for my credit. He made sure I was taken care of. He... walked through the car system, which was really nice. I still need to go through the book myself. He must know me, check oil once of month or 4 times I get gas, windshield fluid, that I have not been very good in the past, now I have a guide line when to check. Ron who Steve handed paper work over too. He was very helpful too, he made sure I got the best deal at a good rate. Thank you Steve, and Ron Regards, Debbie Stricker
I so thoroughly enjoy working with Steve - he makes buying a real pleasure. This is my 3rd Mini - traded my first at 3 years, Steve worked with me on... my second. My second was rear-ended on I-5, and as soon as I was sure the insurance had cleared, I was back with Steve to choose my 3rd. I was so impressed with how that "small" car stood up to the damage from a larger car, traveling at high speed. Definitely can recommend working with Steve - very patient, and no pressure whatsoever.
Terry was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, as he helped us to select a perfect vehicle for our needs. We test drove several models being new Mi...ni, and he worked with us throughout the process. He was honest in his communications and genuinely cared about our experience. We would definitely return to NW Mini and would only work with Terry.
Can someone please explain this to me? Very disappointed with this service department. I purchased this Used vehicle 13 months ago. At the that tim...e, the salesman sore about this car. He said that this car belong to a great friend of him and that the car was always serviced at the Mini of Fife. He also said that the vehicle had pass their "5-point" inspection with flying colors. The car has performed very well for those 13 months so I was very happy with my decision to buy it. I was even thinking that my next NEW car was going to be another Mini Cooper from this establishment. Until..... Last month (not even that long) I took my vehicle for the yearly oil change. At that time, right after the oil change, the Advisor (Justin) told me that the car once again had passed their "5-point" inspection and that it was in great shape. A few days after the service the engine light came on. Because of my schedule at work it took me sometime to get the car back to get this checked. I set up the appointment. Again, not even a month after my vehicle got the oil changed and the over and over mentioned "5-point" inspection, I get a list of things are wrong with my car which would be over $2700.00 for repairs. My question was, how is it that a car that had an oil change and was considered in good shape according to (a month ago) "5-point" inspection, be in such a bad shape. How did the service department missed an Oil pan gasket leak, and valve cover gasket leak, third brake light not working, thermostat, lower control arm bushings, etc.? Either the 5-point inspection really doesn't exist and what is being told to customers, or their system is not working correctly, or the Mini Coopers are so good that they almost never break down that the mechanics are so bored that once someone brings their car for service they fabricate all kinds of repairs so they can make their monthly check. Again, a year ago, Great Car, last month, Great Car, passing 5-point inspection (whatever that is) and now @ 62000 miles, over $2700 repair costs. Can someone please explain that to me? Their answer.... we don't know.
Greetings Wayne, First, we would like to apologize for any miscommunication and any inconveniences you experience while you visited our Service Depar...tment. During a 13 month period, a lot can change when it comes to a vehicle. Especially when putting quite a few miles on the MINI. Regarding the Multi Point Service Inspection that you are referring to, the technician will look over your vehicle and mark down the items that may need attention over the next few months. This check includes items like brakes, tires, wipers, fluid levels, etc. The appointment for the check engine light was 46 days after your oil service visit and you had put about 2000 miles on the vehicle. When your check engine light came on we were able to do a diagnostic check on the vehicle, which is a much more extensive inspection. A diagnostic check is not something that we would do during a regular maintenance service, it is something that we do only when your vehicle is having a specific issue. After the diagnostic check had been completed we were able to give you a more detailed report of items that your MINI is going to be needing . We try to give the customer a honest look at what they can be expecting in the next 6 months to a year out. In your case, we recommended replacing a leaking oil pan gasket, replacing a leaking valve cover gasket, replacing worn control arm bushing, replacing a worn drive belt, and you had a third brake light out. All of these items are normal wear items and can be easily verified. On our report, items are color coded. These colors will give you an idea on how soon your MINI will need that service ( Green, Yellow and Red). At the bottom of that report, you are given a total cost of all services. This list does not mean that you need to get all the services done at once. It is just letting you know that overtime (depending on color coding), your MINI will need to get these issues addressed. We hope this explains more clearly that your MINI is just going to need some regular maintenance items replaced over the next year or so. Again, we apologize that this was not explained to you more clearly during your visit with us. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
I just want to say thank you to Mike D. for all the efforts he did for us so we can get the car in a smoother process. He's very professional and tri...ed to accommodate our requests. He explained to us the details of the car and its functionality. We're very satisfied on how we're treated. Thank you to my new Mini family. So excited to win this new baby. Zyd To Terry S. though I didn't get the chance to meet you, thank you for all the quick responses of my emails. Your timely manner is much appreciated.

I ordered my first Mini Cooper 13 years ago and would give NWMini 5 Stars for the entire time. Never a disappointment, always feeling like each perso...n has my back! Yesterday we traded in Checkers 1 for Checkers 2, as Steve fondly nicknamed them! I was sad to bid farewell to the old one but super excited about getting my faster, stronger, quicker, more technologically advanced Cooper S model! Steve was an absolute delight, never pushy, very knowledgeable, a good listener, great sense of humor and respected our space. I would recommend him to anyone.....thank you Steve!
Congratulations on Checkers 2! We hope that everything is still going well. We really appreciate you taking the time to write a review and share your ...experience.
