Customer care rep literally STOLE $2500 FROM ME Kevin Sharpe will do nothing to fix it Hello my name is Andrea Andrews, I'm hoping you guys can help me get some answers from sharpest rides. Let me tell you the short version as I am sure you are very busy. I purchased a vehicle in Feb. 23 from the sharpest rides. Less than a week later I realized my transmission was going out along with very important pieces of the undercarriage such as the stabilizer bar, the brakes, there were huge holes showing up one near the gas tank that you could probably stick a grapefruit thru and the list continues. So, I took the vehicle back to SR (sharpest rides for short), where I was introduced to the customer care representative Terri Martinez. He drove the car that day and said pretty much it was fine and I need to stop worrying. He also said that I would look much better in a Mercedes and if he would get me one at the dealer actions. All I needed to do was stop making my payments on the vehicle I had just bought and give him $2,500 i finally did agree to give him. I gave him the money that day on the property of SR. I didn't hear from him for 3 days after that. On the 4th day I had to call him and he gave me this story of it takes time. Ok I thought after all I never bought a auction car before maybe it did take time. Well....1 week then 2 weeks go by and nothing no car no nothing. He started to avoid me to get this shorter I got him to admit he had lost the money in black hawk gambling. He stole my money $2500. I became homeless over this for 2 months. He eventually started making payments but only 20 here and 500 there. This messed me up so bad. He signed a contract with his payments on it which he didn't follow he still owes me $300. The owner of sharpest rides refuses to help me in any way. I have tried to get him to give me my title or to finish the deal that Mr Martinez was supposed to do. Buy me a car from the auction and I would give mine back. I haven't made a car payment since June. I can't afford it. Which is why I agreed to the auction deal. Please help me. French Latour was a straight forward man. I would trust any of my family to get a car by this guy. Had the best experience buying a car for my husband he helpped him find exactly what he was looking for.

They will scam you.
They will scam you. They are dishonest and do not care about you. I purchased a car from “The Sharpest Rides” online. They sold me a car that is very dangerous to drive. I took delivery and during the test drive the car would swerve all over the road making it difficult to keep in lane. I took it a reputable BMW dealer to have it inspected and they determined that it needs $4,500 in suspension and structural repairs. They either didn’t bother to inspect and drive the car or they knew about it and sold it anyway. Neither one of those is good. They’re avoiding my calls and will not commit to repair it or take it back. I’ve had the car for 3 weeks and cannot drive it. When I spoke with their “customer service” they yelled at me and said that the delivery service probably damaged the car. Don’t do it! Stay away from this place.

Did not receive a response to my inquiry (through Cars.com), clicked through to Sharpest Rides' website and to submit an inquiry there required a captcha to prove I'm not a robot and by then I was already having second thoughts. I live in northwest Colorado and to travel over the mountains in winter to Denver, to see a car I might have decided against buying after seeing it, coming home with nothing to show for my effort . . . I'd really like to find a well-maintained 95 Chevy Impala SS, but for some reason my inquiry was ignored. And that's fine.
