Maria Bobkoff and Gavin Fuller were the two people we interacted with at Thompson. We explained what we were looking for in a car. Dealership searches led to one possibility but it did not work out. Maria explained that we would have to order the car and it would be built in Japan and shipped to the east coast. We signed on for that and were kept informed of the cars progress in manufacturing and shipping. When it was delivered both Maria and Gavin were there for the delivery.

My salesman was Tom Coates, he was so professional, patient and knowledgeable. He listened and found my the right car for me. Tom is top notch! Everyone at the dealership was extremely nice and helpful. They all went above and beyond. Thus is my 2nd car purchase in 12 years, both at Thompson dealerships. The customer experience is outstanding , I drive over 20 miles to Doylestown even though there are several dealerships with a few miles of my home.

My wife and I had a very disappointing experience with the service department. Communication was poor from the beginning, and we were provided with inaccurate information regarding the timeline for our vehicle, making it difficult to plan accordingly. Additionally, the service advisor was dismissive during a conversation with my wife when she inquired about why the vehicle would not be ready the same day, as had previously been communicated to us. There were numerous dismissive comments throughout the conversation; for example, one of his responses was, "Well, that's why we gave you a loaner car." Customer service should involve treating customers with respect and providing clear explanations, but that was not our experience. The most frustrating aspect of the entire process was the lack of communication and follow-through. Multiple phone calls went unreturned, and I often had to reach out repeatedly just to receive an update on the status of our vehicle. Clear communication and responsiveness are basic expectations when entrusting a dealership with your vehicle. I was told on multiple occasions that the service department was very busy and that I would receive a callback, both on the day of service and again the following morning. Unfortunately, no one ever followed up. After waiting without any communication, I was forced to contact the dealership for a fifth time to obtain an update. While I understand that service departments can become extremely busy, customers who are not standing directly at the service desk are equally important and deserve timely updates and communication. Overall, the experience left us feeling ignored and undervalued as customers. I hope management addresses these concerns and takes steps to improve communication, accountability, and customer service for future customers. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend bringing your vehicle to Thompson Toyota for service.

Tom Coates is an excellent sales person. He didn’t pressure us in any way, but listened to our requests for the car we wanted. We selected a 2026 red Toyota Camry with black grill and black interior. Tom gave us several updates on the completion of our vehicle being made in Kentucky. The time table he mentioned was spot on. Tom spent a lot of time with us to go over everything we needed to know before we left the dealership. He also provided his card with his cell phone number and told us we could contact him with any questions or concerns, even on his days off! He went over the service plans and scheduled our first check up, It was a pleasure to work with him! I’d recommend him to anyone who is considering purchasing a Toyota!

Brian Newton was a pleasure to work with. He had answers to all of our questions and was able to quickly source additional options. Nick was great to work with from the Finance side as well. He made the paperwork quick and seamless. Overall, Thompson Toyota has a great team!

In July 2025, I contacted Thompson Toyota to place an advance order for a 2026 Toyota RAV4 Limited Hybrid. I clearly explained that I would purchase the vehicle from Thompson if they honored the $500 Hero discount that was being offered at Team Toyota. The Sales Manager, Steve Tagye, responded and initially confirmed that honoring the $500 discount would not be an issue. Based on this clear agreement, I placed a deposit. After several months of waiting for the redesigned RAV4 to enter production, the dealership located a vehicle for me in February. At this point, communication broke down completely. The sales consultant, Ken, could not make even minor decisions and was forced to defer to Steve Tagye for nearly everything. In March, Steve Tagye unilaterally backed out of the previously agreed-upon $500 discount on a vehicle with a list price of approximately $49,000. Despite the clear documentation of our agreement and my repeated references to it, he refused to honor the commitment and attempted to argue that the agreement never existed. This was a blatant use of manipulative and unethical sales tactics, wasting my time and trust. I immediately requested my deposit back and decided to take my business elsewhere. Potential buyers should exercise extreme caution when dealing with Steve Tagye and Thompson Toyota.

We worked with Tom Coates. Tom looked for the perfect car for my mom keeping her informed during the search. Once Tom found the car he made the deal happen within days. Every step of the way Tom was patient and helpful. We felt prepared and informed without any stress. It was a very pleasant experience and we highly recommend Tom! Bradford made the closing easy and seamless!

Mr. Coates at Toyota was fabulous helping us find a used car for our teenager! He was personable, engaging and took so much time with my teen orienting her to the new car once we made a decision. I'd go back to Thompson for our next car just to have him assist us.

We were very pleased with our buying experience. Devyn Wynne was very pleasant and professional. The sales process completed with Bradford explaining some additional protection products. Again, very pleasant and professional.
