Horrible experience for my first time in the service

Horrible experience for my first time in the service department. Brand new car 6700 miles… came in for an oil change and mentioned that an engine light had come on - not on at time of service appt - was told they could investigate at the cost of $232… I have a bumper to bumper warranty and what? Apparently the alignment was also off but for $129 they could realign. Great feature but I am not off roading so how do I know you didn’t deliver it to me that way. Tech said normally needs to be done at 12000 miles still only at 6700. Paid and asked to have a manager call me to discuss. Still waiting for the call folks. We had an amazing sales experience and were promised we would be treated like family with service dept. Well I don’t know about you but I don’t nickel and dime my family and not return their calls. Think twice about getting your vehicle serviced here.

Horrible sales strategy.

Horrible sales strategy. I brought in an advertising offer for $159 leasing rate per month for a 2024 Ioniq 5. After the test drive we sat down to look at the numbers and their first offer was $ 499 leasing rate. When I was asking to explain the difference between the advertised $159 and offered $499 they let me wait another 15 minutes and then came back with a $350 leasing rate. This went on for 2 more times and overall 1 hour of waiting. I finally asked for the sales manager and they finally gave me the real leasing rate. I don’t understand that car dealers are still out there to screw every customer with fantasy prices. If I wouldn’t have declined the initial price, I would have paid almost $8000 more in leasing rate. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE !

My appointment was for Friday at 3:00 pm. I stopped in on Thursday to make sure my car would be ready if Friday if I was dropping it off so late on Friday. Well, I was so glad I stopped to check because Andrew was able to get my car serviced on Thursday!! Thank you so much Andrew!!! Great service and I didn't have to wait long at all!

Pleased to find a dealership service bay that provides

Pleased to find a dealership service bay that provides service per appointment and keeps to agreed timelines for service. So many time at other locations…they fail to see customers in order, don’t apologize and pretend you’re an idiot when trying to upsell you. It was really refreshing with Dominic at Elk Grove Hyundai. He deserves five stars. I love the car [Santa Cruz SAV] and I love the service. I’ll be back.
