OVERCHARGING DEALERSHIP

Horrible experience! Salesmen used bait and switch techniques, tried selling cars over MSRP and claimed Covid-19 reasons. DO NOT RECOMMEND under any circumstance! Will try to rip you off. Filed formal complaint with KIA customer relations.

Never again

I was very disappointed with my experience at Feldman Kia. Inside of the dealership I was shown a vehicle that was black and told that they could order a less expensive version to be delivered in 2 weeks. I was told that the Telluride sell fast & encouraged to lock it in. At delivery they rolled out a brown car with a ding in the door. They kept going on about how it just looks black in the showroom. The sales manager Todd went on & on about how it was nothing he could do because I already signed the paperwork. I knew it was weird that the vehicle came in on Thursday but they wanted me to take delivery on Saturday. Did I mention Todd was talking loudly about slapping a woman and laughing? Although they acknowledge the vehicle looks black inside the dealership they do not understand why I would not appreciate the obvious brown color. That seems really slick. And the shiwroom car really looked black and I even shot a few photos of it and it looks black in my photos. At This point I have a car in my name that I have not taken delivery on and they keot my 2020 that I was trading in. I have never cried in a dealership before today but imagine going from thinking you are upgrading a luxurious vehicle for a better one to driving a Chevy Trax that stinks of ciggarettes! I have leased cars through Kia since 2014 but never again. It is sad that the antiquated stereotypical slippery car selling tactics are alive & well at this dealership and have killed my loyalty. My recommendation is watch yourself-and them. If you are a woman pay especially close attention to the creepy vibes and choose wisely on if these people deserve your business. Lesson learned. Never again. I am happy to update my rating if things change.

Proceed with caution, please

I wish we could give 5 stars; we were planning on it as our initial experience of my car purchase was great. We were assured that the used car I bought did not need repairs. We noticed later that the inspection records from Feldman failed to make it into our paperwork packet. 2 weeks after purchase, my usual hometown car service (whom I have used for close to a decade) inspected my newly-bought Kia and discovered the rotors were rusted through, the brakes all needed to be repaired, and all 4 tires needed to be replaced. This was a $2,500 repair total. To save a long story, we have made 35 phone calls within the past 2 months to Feldman requesting any form of follow-up as well as a copy of their inspection report. The one email response we got stated (response copied directly from the email): " Rachel the Kia Forte went threw a complete safety inspection in our service department . I was told from the sales men that you have already had the repairs done . If the repairs have not been done , we could of look at the unit . We make sure all of our units are in good condition and take that very serious ." As the car was unsafe to drive, I could not bring it back to Feldman to be (re)serviced as we live in Grand Rapids. 35 phone calls and no apology, no follow-up, and no calls back. I would not recommend Feldman to anyone who values honesty and follow-up.

LOOKING AT A NEW KIA

MADE BUYING A KIA VERY SMOOTH AND EASY! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! DAVE WAS AWESOME! DEALERSHIP WAS CLEAN AND EVERYONE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, LARGE SELECTION OF KIA'S TO CHOOSE FROM.

Oil change

They ate horrible. Dont return phone calls lied to me about my financing. Told me to go find another kia place. I will never recommend them

Terrible Dealership Experience Never Again

A very disorganized, unfriendly, non-user friendly dealership. Bought a Kia Soul and will never return nor refer to Feldman Automotive. This place is everything wrong with the new car buying experience. Not skilled in online purchasing, outdated finance practices, poor organization throughout.

Looking for a car

Enjoyed the variety and the ease of there website and the virtual helper was very helpful as well and I also checked yelp and a few other sites for customer reviews and they were all pretty good

Bait and switch.

My wife and I are very interested in the new Telluride. We were working with the online team emailing a few times back and forth to make sure they had a SX version with the prestige package. They set up a test drive with the sales manager. We even emailed late in the afternoon on the day before to make sure they still had the vehicle in stock since we are driving an hour and it’s in high demand. They confirmed they did and “were excited to show it to us” the next afternoon. Got to the dealership and a sales associate greeted us promptly and said the sales manager would be right with us. After a few minutes she returned and stated she would be taking over because the car was sold the morning of the day before (which was before our email to make sure it was still there) so the manager gave us to her. She apologized for the inconvenience and had us test drive a base model to get a feel for it. They had a model closer to what we were looking for but she couldn’t get to it due to construction of the parking lot. We also asked about a trade in value on our Acadia which we were told with over 100k miles probably $500 dollars since it’s a “parts car at that point” but wouldn’t appraise it since the value could change by the time they get one in. We drove to a Honda dealership and test drove the Pilot elite and were told the Acadia was worth $3800-$4000. I honestly think the sales associate did a good job with what she was given. The sales manager not even coming out to apologize for the inconvenience on an obvious bait and switch situation is down right poor service. I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt until I read 2 other reviews of the same thing happening. Needless to say, I will not be back. I still plan on ordering a Telluride SX with the prestige package when they get re-released in the fall (due to a backorder in parts), but not from this dealership.

Fast, friendly service. Feldman Kia is 5 star!

This was my second visit for service as the dealership is close to my work. The staff were friendly and efficient. The service I needed was completed quickly. Bottom line, they have my trust and deserve a 5 star rating in all aspects.
