DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I should have read the other reviews. Saw a Jeep listed for 27,997. Exactly what I wanted so I clicked the “more info” link on Cars.com knowing it would generate a call from the dealer. Like clockwork I got a call the following day and was told that because they were having a sale (holiday) I would get an additional 2k off. Awesome! I drive 2 hours away (gas and tolls) and meet with Ali. Nice guy, we go for a test drive and everything is good. Then we get to talking numbers. 10k over what’s listed online nevermind the 2k promo discount that THEY CALLED ME TO OFFER. As soon as I pull back Ali goes to get Omar the manager. He tried to explain that a $2500 “prep fee” is for all the work they did to the car. They’ve done nothing to the car, seeing this for exactly what it was (money grab) I said no thanks and went to leave. They’ve done nothing stopped me and said well what would be acceptable, I said if it’s actual prep then no more than $500. He comes back with $1500. I asked him what exactly happens to the car to justify that charge and Omar couldn’t articulate that. That let me know that it was a claw back for the “sale” price. They also tried to renege on the sale price because it was combined with the “internet price”. THEY CALLED ME AND OFFERED IT. Sadly used car lots haven’t changed. Beware!

I saw an SUV online @ RT46 Mitsubishi in Totowa NJ. that want to see. I saw a salesman named Omar about it. He acted fast told me to take it for test drive. Once I got back we started talking price that I can afford. He was so professional on answering all my questions too, and the management team handled it all themselves too.I felt comfortable since the first walk into the dealer. I was offered coffee and thoutgave out bottles of water.. I'm happy with my Jeep I purchase. I give Onar and his team 5 stars. So if your looking for a vehicle new or used give RT46 Mitsubishi a call and ask for Omar.

I was treated like family instead of a client. I appreciated LeLe and the work she did. She made me feel so comfortable from the beginning. She listened to my preferences and kept that in mind as she helped me look for a vehicle. Never once did she try to push me into something just to make a sale like some other dealerships.I have been to other dealerships and never felt like I was something other than a number. Lele made me feel like everything I said mattered. Angelo showed me every feature on the vehicle to make sure I understood everything and also made sure my paperwork was correct. They make the perfect team!!! Everyone there was friendly,professional and very helpful. I recommend Lele for you next associate to help with finding the vehicle of your dreams. I had a horrible experience with this dealer. Just a few days ago (on 08/21/2024) I had to leave my job earlier and lose some money in order to catch a useless appointment with Route 46 Mitsubishi. I went there to buy a used 2021 Honda Passport EX L advertised on Carfax.com for $23,995, but as soon I started talking to them, they added to the price an unwanted and unnecessary warranty for $3,995 and if I wouldn't take their warranty, the price would go up to $26,800. None of this was mentioned in their advertisement on Carfax.com. You learn these things once you step on their front door. After many attempts to remove their warranty, they accepted to lower it down to $1,995. Although I didn't want their warranty, which they were trying to sell it to me by force in order to make some profit from me, I accepted the deal and the total value for the car went up to $29,160+, where I would put $5,000 down payment. However, I couldn't buy the car, because their manager named Omar changed his mind and lied to me that he can't sell the car, because he's losing $4,000 with this deal and I needed to pay those extra dollars for him to reach break even. A total bullsh*t. In the end he said also that he didn't check my credit score, but later I received a notification that my credit score went down because of a hard inquiry. The story with this joke dealer goes on the next day when Omar called me to propose me the same deal as a big favor after talking to his boss, but he increased the total value of the deal by $600 to $29,750. After reading here the reviews of some people, I learned that they did not sell their warranty to some customers. So why they were pushing so much to sell it to me? This is why I asked Omar to be treated fairly with other customers and remove the warranty from the initial deal of $29,160+ and close the deal at $27,160+ , which he refused. It was a complete loss of time, money and energy with this dealer, all because of this guy Omar, who calls himself a manager. Stay away from these scammers. I wish so badly I could give them 0 stars, but 1 star is the minimum.

Dealership called me 3x yesterday to make sure I was
Dealership called me 3x yesterday to make sure I was coming down to see the car. Told me they do not negotiate and that the $16,995 price was firm. Get there, "Oh, the price is the one on the sticker ($24,995) if you are paying cash." Well, I'm not paying $8,000 additional for this car, I replied. "Well you see, that's how we make our money. We get a kickcback from the banks if you finance. If not, you pay the sticker price. But we will waive that since you came all of the way down here." Later, after a test drive. I asked for them to get the paperwork together for final purchase. Reviewing the materials, the $8000 cash surcharge was not there, only to be replaced by a $3995 "Vehicle Inspection Tax (That you PAY tax on in the FINAL total)." What is this Vehicle Inspection Tax?, I asked. "That is for the final inspection we conduct on the vehicle before it leaves the lot, said the sales rep." Is that a common practice among the other dealers on Rte 46?, I asked. "No. It's something that we have come up with for all cars on our lot." Well, I will sign a waiver saying you do not have to inspect the car. So, take off the $3995 Vehicle inspection tax and the sales tax that you added for this tax. "We can't do that," said the sales Rep. "We do this for all vehicles." So, basically you want me to pay an extra $4000, plus tax because I have cash right now and do not wish to finance? "Yes," he said. Well, I am going to dinner to think about this. I will call you later. And, I walked out. This was fraudulent behavior in my opinion and I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General. Caveat Emptor.

I typically don’t write reviews but you always hear the horror stories about dealerships never the good, to say that car shopping in this economy is scary is an understatement!!! Rich Catalano and his team are a gem a diamond if you will. I went car shopping last weekend for my youngest daughter and I was wrecked. Rich and his associate Chris made us feel comfortable and welcomed. I myself with a past working in the dealership business had my guard up but it honestly was the most amazing experience I ever went through, everything was a conversation amongst friends. Rich welcomed us to the RT46 family and I felt it to be true.. They made my child feel welcomed and like her voice and questions were heard. I will forever only work with the Rt 46 group from here on out and recommend them across the board!!!!!!!!!!!! 5 stars doesn’t do this dealership justice even if you aren’t actively looking for a vehicle pass by say hi to rich and Chris look around with an open mind and come join the family. Thank you again guys see you soon, my lease is almost up….
