Great Customer Service
Helwig, I really regret I was not able to facilitate my car purchase with you. I had a hyper specific trim in mind (Blue 2018 Touring 1.5L). I only found two in the state of NC and one wasn't even at a Honda dealership. I really appreciate the effort you made to make things as easy as possible for me. The video and zest you display makes the car buying process enjoyable! Take care and stay safe Helwig,

I was searching online through multiple dealerships in multiple states. I sent out multiple emails to multiple dealerships, and Helwig Stewart was the ONLY salesman who read my email and did what I asked; which was to send me a price workup via email on my trade in, as I was not going to visit any dealership until we had reached a deal. Helwig was then on top of me questions and emails, and helped with any question I had. I also dealt with the manager Jason, and he helped get the final offer inline. I drove 3 hours for this deal, and with the level of customer service I received, I would be happy to do it again!!!! I also had great service from the finance manager who helped fill out the paperwork, and the delivery woman who had my truck ready in the bay, and took my old truck when it was emptied. I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for a great customer experience!!!!

DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE HERE!! They sold me a Acura TSX that they claimed had never been in any wrecks.(Yes, they showed me a clean carfax but then kept that document out of my paperwork.) A few months after owning it the car started having crazy vibration issues along with the paint flaking off. After multiple visits and countless arguments with anyone I could possibly talk to (since all they tried to do was pass me off to people who just magically happened to never be available ) they ended up saying they would take it back as a trade BUT at a thousands of dollars loss to me. ( the service manger even finally said “yes, this car has been wrecked and has major issues” but wouldn’t put his neck out there) At this point I felt like I was stuck. I ended up just trying to cut my losses and going the only route they would offer. Long story short I’m now stuck with a used Nissan Altima. They also claimed this car had never been in any wrecks, clean carfax, had been through an in-depth inspection, etc... This car was not at all what I wanted or would ever purchase but I didn’t really have any other options. Keep in mind they also wouldn’t do anything about the “dealer fee” $899 X 2 now!! NOW THE KICKER. After a few months of owning the Nissan the paint started seriously flaking off and the panels no longer line up. I have gone in multiple times to try and get this sorted out. I was first literally laughed at and told I’m “unlucky ending up with previously wrecked cars”. “This is a Nissan USA issue due to the tsunami and to contact them. If they don’t do anything I should bash them online.” Then they refused to try and contact Nissan or their own Nissan dealership across town. I decided to contact Nissan while I was there on my own to confirm this ridiculous idea of their’s. I took out my phone and called their Nissan dealership in front of them. Nissan confirmed the obvious, that there was no recalls or anything and the tsunami idea was bogus. They then said, “oh take it to a good body shop it will only cost a couple hundred bucks to repair/ repaint.” Following the lovely advice, I did so. They said “this car has defiantly recently had a coverup paint/ fix job and it would cost approx. $1800.00 plus tax” Well Scott Clark, I’m taking the advise that your employee’s suggested just directing it to the correct party. STOP LYING TO CUSTOMER’S AND COVERING UP THAT YOU ARE KNOWINGLY SELLING WRECKED USED CARS!! STOP SCREWING OVER CUSTOMER’S!! DO THE RIGHT THING AND FIX THIS!!

Sir, I have sent you copies of your Carfax reports for both cars showing no evidence of an accident at the time of purchase. You bought your Altima 2 year ago. I don't think anyone would connect the dots that we might be responsible for the paint job of a pre-owned vehicle after so much time has passed. None the less, although we're under no legal, moral, or ethical obligation, we have offered to paint your bumper.

Best Experience Ever!
Helwig went above and beyond to take care of me. I have less than perfect credit and he was able to get me into a vehicle with no money down and a reasonable car payment. He was personable and made sure I was in and out with no hassle.

Good deal, but not so good service
Drove 2 hrs to look at vehicle. The salesman was very nice, most of the disappointment wasn’t from him. We made a purchase but had leave car there due to some things that had to be fixed and then some things that we requested them to fixed. Once paper work was done I guess they didn’t care as much. They had offered us delivery of the car, but once car was ready couldn’t seem to get drivers, not a big deal to me so we drove 2 hrs again to pick it up. They did fix the major things, however here were some requested fixes that they didn’t do as they had said they could. Previously we had been told they use a third party detailing service that does a fantastic job on inside and out, however the inside of the car hadn’t been touched other than the stains we specifically pointed out. There was dust on the seats, crud in cup holder and crevasses, after asking about it they offered free detailing if we come by another day, sorry not driving 2 hrs again one way when this should have been done in the 4 extra days they had the car. We made a heavy decision to keep the car despite the disappointment in the service. I left feeling very dissatisfied, disappointed, and didn’t even feel excited about the car. I was questioning if we done the right thing. If it hadn’t been for the good mileage on the car, I would have walked away without hesitation. I spent over 2 hrs the next day detailing the car myself, it looks much better now. I am happy with the car, just not with the overall experience. Have bought 2 other cars in my life and this had to be my least favorite experience.

Good deal, but....
Recently bought a vehicle from Scott Clark Honda, initially on my first visit everything went fairly well. Keep in mind we drove 2 hrs to see the car. Our salesman was pretty nice and helpful. Made a purchase, however there were some things they had to fix and then some request we had for them to fix, so we had to leave car there. They stressed to us they could deliver the car to us.( we didn’t ask for that) However once the car was ready they were having trouble getting drivers, so we decided we would just go pick it up, not a big deal. Once there things just didn’t go as we had been told, they did fix the major things, however there were some things that they didn’t fix per request. They had told us they have a fantastic third party company that details the cars inside and out, but no one had even touched the inside other that the stains we had specifically pointed out, there was dust on seats and crud in cup holders and crevasses. When letting them know this they said we could bring it back another day for detailing, not driving 2 hrs one way again for that sorry! It should have already been done in the 4 extra days they kept the car. We made a heavy decision to keep the car despite that, I left feeling very dissatisfied with their service and highly disappointed. I didn’t even feel excited about the car, Felt we were fed BS on several things. If it hadn’t been for the good mileage on the car I would have definitely walked away without hesitation. I spent over 2 hours the next day detailing the car myself, looks much better now.

I'm terribly sorry to hear about your experience at our store. While it is not indicative of our daily practice, it seems that we dropped the ball in this case. Please except our sincere apology.
