Best car buying experience, ever!

I was lucky enough to work with a dynamic duo! I needed a vehicle to accommodate my unconventional family needs. I was very reluctant because of past car buying experiences but was immediately put at ease with both Mr. Hunte and Mr. Stewart's openness and frankness. I bonded with them both and felt that they listened to what I was looking for in a car but also took my personal situation into consideration and delivered exactly what I needed and more! The financing was painless and Mr. Stewart went above and beyond in order to assure that I was a satisfied customer! Honest, Helpful, personable

Mr. Stewart was the most transparent and honest salesmen I have ever worked with. I would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. He will do everything in his power to get you exactly what you want (and in my case, even better) and will also go out of his way to get you the best price. Unlike many other car dealership salesmen I have worked with, Mr. Stewart does not act on his own personal agenda to make a commission. He acts purely on your wants/needs and will do everything he can to get you no less. Thank you for everything Mr. Stewart, we love our new civic! Mika & Jeremy

Scott Clark Honda of Charlotte is a great dealership. They went above and beyond to get me approved for the vehicle that I really wanted. Sales rep Stewart Helwig is the best. He’s not just focused on trying to make a sale but to make sure that you’re happy with your purchase and the overall experience. I highly recommend this dealership.

Great dealership experience!

Helwig was exceptional from the start. No pressure to buy, but once the decision was made to purchase, he and the finance department worked hard to get the deal done. I highly recommend Helwig and the team for your next purchase!

Some people think this is Bait & Switch; deceptive...

Some people think this is Bait & Switch; deceptive business practices. What do you think? The CarFax for the car that was advertised online stated the car was sold 7 days prior. The Used Car Sales Manager and the Salesperson assured me the car advertised online was in still in inventory after the financing deal fell through the previous week. I drove two hours and arrived checkbook in hand. The car waiting for me to test drive was not what was advertised. Management finally confessed they couldn’t find the car – it might have been stolen. Tone deaf to the inconvenience they caused me, they said, we have lots of cars on the lot, just look around. I wouldn’t trust them to sell me a quality car. I bought elsewhere.

First Mile Powertrain Warranty / Maintenance

I must register a complaint about the maintenance contract and extended warranty sold by Scott Clark. To anyone buying a car from the dealership in Charlotte, NC, please don't fall for it. The salesperson assured the contract was flexible with any Honda dealership I would need service. He also assured the 7 year extended warranty covered the 7 years after the standard manufacturer warranty of 3. On both contracts, this turns out to be an egregious misrepresentation. Neither works this way. BE AWARE. I prefer to share this experience publicly so that other buyers are not coerced by this misrepresentation by the Scott Clark dealership. I have called to register a complaint and am cancelling these contracts. They point to the employee no longer working for them as the only excuse and no apology was rendered. Unacceptable. From this, any rational buyer should concur that if they misrepresent warranties and maintenance contracts, then why would you trust them to buy the car??
