Jim Bowman was very knowledgable of the cars we viewed and gave great advice on several different matters related to purchasing a car. I was eventually able to procure financing with a superior interest rate through my credit union. However, with the my track record of Toyota purchases: 1980 Celica 1992 Tercel 1994 Paseo 1997 4-Runner 2002 Tacoma 2003 Highlander I would have thought the financing/purchasing representatives could have obtained a better rate than they offered in the dealership. The finance department's inability to accommodate a preferred interest rate put an otherwise sure sale in jeopardy. It was only my brand loyalty to the product that ensured the deal.

Jun was very helpful in assisting me and my wife in locating the vehicle that we wanted. He took his time and patiently waited for us when we were trying to make up our minds. Although I was not sure if the price was fair, though I maked it as good, his customer service attitude, friendly approach and no "xx" conversation, led me to trust him. We left the dealership parking lot happy with our new vehicle and Jun was glad to have another sale.

I was feeling great about buying a car from Jason T. Rayner. He seemed very friendly and was all about getting everything done for me in a timely manner. There was no pressure to buy a new car and he wasn't pushing anything on me I didn't want. I decided that I wanted to get accesories added on to my car such as: calibers painted red, gps system, spoiler, cargo mat, also a hitch and bike rack installed. After I had purchased the vehicle Jason seemed to have no interest in how I felt about my new car. I had to leave my new car at the dealership to get everything installed that I had added. When I came to get my car Jason had left with another customer for a test drive and left my keys in the ignition waiting for me. I didn't appreciate this because I wanted to go over all the new stuff that I had installed to make sure everything was installed properly and learn how to use the new GPS system and the hitch/bike rack since I had never had either. I called him and he said that he was out with the customer and that he has to make other deals, that he had spent a lot of time on my car and needed to make money for his family....so after I had spend a 3-4 thousand dollars on all the add ons for my car he didn't feel like he could take a good 15minutes of his time to show me how to work everything. I was very distraught, this was not my first new car buying experience so I was pretty upset with the way he acted and how he left with another customer knowing that I was coming in. Especially when my hitch/bike rack ended up being the wrong kind and I couldn't figure out how to sync my phone with the bluetooth system. Jason did a fantastic job up untill the point he handed the car keys over for me, or rather when he left them in the ignition for me.

Our experience with Checkered Flag Toyota, and our salesman Terrence Blake in particular, was outstanding. Terrence was very knowledgeable and helped us find the car we wanted at a price we wanted to pay. The entire process from test driving different Highlander models, to locating the exact car we wanted, to transporting it down from PA, to concluding the sale was conducted professionally and efficiently. We have the highest praise for Terrence and the entire Checkered Flag staff. Checkered Flag will be the first place we go when we buy our next car.
