As of yesterday, Sunday, my husband and I dropped by...

As of yesterday, Sunday, my husband and I dropped by Checkered flag Toyota only to look at cars. We weren’t planning on taking home a car after all. We got there and directly looked at the fancy cars in the showroom. After a couple of minutes, Bill introduced himself to us and helped us right away. He took us outside & showed us a lot of used Toyota Camry’. We chose the one that we really wanted; however, we still weren’t planning on getting it because it’s way out of our budget. He took us back to his desk and worked things out. By the end of the day, my husband and I got to trade in our scion Tc without them taking advantage of us by purchasing it less than what the trade in value was. They bought our Tc in a very decent amount, and way more than what my husband and I had in mind. Though it was already after business hours (6pm), Mr. Peterson took the extra time to help my husband take out all our belongings from our old car to our new car out in the parking lot. He made sure that the new car we’re taking home that night was cleaned inside and out. When we finally got everything set up thinking we can finally go home, Bill offered to show us the cool things our new car can do. He sat in the back seat and told us a couple of tricks. He was very friendly and told us to come back the next day for a brand new car inspection since the service department is already closed. On the night of October 14, 2012, my husband and I became proud carriers of a brand new 2012 Toyota Camry. My husband and I were very satisfied about all the work he had done for us. He tried very hard to meet with our wants and needs. A very young married couple is what my husband and I are to most people. We often do not get great customer service because most do not want to put in the extra effort for young individuals similar to us. However, Bill was different. From the moment Mr. Peterson introduced himself to us, he was very professional. He treated us with respect. He has prodigious retail etiquette. He put in the extra effort to sell the car to us but he did not force us into getting anything unlike several dealers who will try to lock you in their office until you sign a deceived contract. Overall, my husband and I are very comfortable dealing with Checkered Flag Toyota. They have a great sales team and even service team. We didn't feel skeptical inside their facility. We never thought we’re ever going to take home a brand new car with us but Bill Peterson, his team, and Checkered Flag Toyota made it happen! Thank you for all the help you did for us! Robert was very professional and helpful. He made sure my family was comfortable and all our needs were meet. Robert also went the extra mile to ensure I left with a car that was needed and pleasing, he was not eager to put me in a car that did not meet my needs and wants. He is a pleasure to work with!

This was the best experience that I have ever had from any car dealership. From a management level a deal was put together that no other dealership could do. From a sales level I received personalized service above and beyond my expectations. I would recommend this dealership and salesperson to anyone without reservation.

Stacie and James did a great job with my vehicle purchase, a Toyota Tacoma. They were both professional, knowledgeable and very easy to work with. They gave me a great price and made sure I was completely satisfied with my purchase. Stacie did a great job handling my correspondence/questions/negotiation on the internet, and James did a great job taking care of me on the floor making sure I was completely satisfied with the vehicle and taking care of my trade-in. Both of them made my buying experience totally enjoyable and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new Toyota.

Recognizing that Checker was being hit by a large number...

Recognizing that Checker was being hit by a large number of people purchasing vehicles on the day I bought mine, I thought that the service was extremely efficient and streamlined. Had that not been the case, this would have been the quickest car purchase I've ever experienced. I was also impressed when the sales representative offered to entertain my 3 and 6-yr old daughters while we were waiting for the business manager to finish up with another client. I will never purchase a vehicle through traditional means again. In the future, I will only purchase vehicles through the internet, given how smooth this experience was at Checker. Thanks again and we love the vehicle.

I've bought 5 new cars over the last 10 years. Three of them from the Hampton Roads area. This experience was by far the best. I searched for this Sienna SE at 3 different dealerships. It was the cheapest out of them all. After doing my research and listening to different salesman tell me about the car, I thought I knew it all. Until i met Edwin. He taught me stuff about the car that no other salesman did. I am satisfied with my purchase and will definitely return in the future.

The overall experience with Michael is really the best you could expect in the car buying business. Quite simple really, tell him what you want and how you want it and Michael is going to try everything he can to make sure it happens and that you leave completely satisfied with your purchase. The experience of buying the car was not stressful at...

The experience of buying the car was not stressful at all. The salesman and the staff my wife and I interfaced with was very friendly, listened to what we want, and didn't push anything on us. Most importantly, they were honest and gave us a very fair deal and didn't try a bait and switch. Everything they said or promised was delivered. I bought my Toyota 4 Runner at Checkerflag Toyota VB in 2002 and it was just as great experience with our recent purchase of the 2012 camry at Checkerflag. I will recommend the salesman and the dealership to everyone I know.

Shea was beyond helpful when buying a car. Right when she saw my mom & I she began to cater to what we needed and helped us in any way she can. She was very informative and really helped me buy my first brand new car. She really explained all of the information very well and didnt make it seem very overwhelming. When buying a car I'd recommend everyone to see Shea cuz you know you will be in good hands & well taken care of.
