Took my under-warranty mache in to have them check out

Took my under-warranty mache in to have them check out the oem charger that started flashing a yellow warning light. Took them over 2 weeks to get me scheduled with loaner and then it took them 4 days to get the work done. The original charger was defective and replaced under warranty. All good. Upon pickup, they said the replacement charger was in the trunk. It was, but not the cord for plugging it into the wall. I was told to bring that in with the charger, so without it, it was unusable. The service tech was able to run one down, but that type of oversight is not good. Fortunately, I checked before leaving the dealership. Additionally, I was surprised they didn't wash the car or fill up the windshield wiper fluid tank that had just showed up as needing attention. While technically not required, lots of new car dealerships do these sort of things.

After many txts back & forth (weather issues) we

After many txts back & forth (weather issues) we scheduled a meeting with Salesman X @ Bob Tomes Ford to view a Red Escape Active we were told they had in stock. When we arrived the person we were to meet with was not available. We waited for 20 minutes and were ready to go home when another salesman, Lance, asked if he could help. He found there was no Red Escape Active to test drive. But he found the next level up, an ST 2025 model. We test drove then went thru the negotiation phase. That went very well. Lance handled fair pricing the ST version and added other options, many of which we didn't really want. He priced it well (with consolations with the sales manager). SOLD. Drove it home an hour later thanks to Lance picking up the fumble by the attended schedule salesman (things happen). 5 Stars for Lance. A happy customer.

What a horrible experience.

What a horrible experience. 1. The car on the lot that we wanted had a no sale order due to recalls.. why is the car front and center on the lot if you cant sell it? 2. The sales person traded with another dealership to get us the exact same vehicle. We signed on the loan Friday without seeing the car. 3. We were suppose to pick up the vehicle Saturday afternoon. No it will be ready Saturday evening. No sorry we will have it Monday by 1:30. 4. When we called at 3:30 Monday upset that we did not have our car. We were told how the check in process works for cars coming onto the lot. And that they had 75 cars they needed to pull from the lot due to no sell orders. And that they were taking a loss on our deal of $1600. We were not told "We are sorry for this inconvenience". We were not told why our new car was there since Saturday afternoon and did not get first priority Monday morning for make ready. And we were not offered swag to make up for this 72 hour wait. We said "just give me my car". At 4:30 we got a call from the service area that they were unwinding the deal and to come pick up our trade. And when we picked up our trade, they did not give us the title so we had to make another trip to the dealership to get the title. I called to try to talk to the general manager about the situation and was told they are not allowed to put people through to his line or voice mail. We went to another dealer and drove away 2 hours later. Don't waste your time with this dealership. It will cause you nothing but frustration!
