Car-buying after 13 years...not painful at all!

I absolutely LOVE my Fusion. I had not shopped for a car in 13 years and was not looking forward to talking to a salesman, but working was Joseph was a great and pressure-free experience.

Mostly good

My experience was mostly good but I had difficulty getting information about whether my car was ready and ended up having to leave it at Covert overnight.

John Nay does a great job in service.Always keeps my F-150 in top running condition.He deserves recognition for his fine job.

Great Costly Service, Lesson Learned

Let me start by saying that my Wife and I have been loyal Covert Ford customers going back to 1995. We have always had the pleasure of dealing with helpful friendly people. On this trip I dropped off my truck in the service department at 7AM. I was told by my Service Advisor, Steve Hathaway, that he would call me sometime in the morning to let me know what they found out. At roughly 1PM I called Steve and left a voicemail as I hadn't heard back. After not hearing back, I called the service department at 3pm and was put in touch with someone else who then told me to hang on as Steve was there. Steve then got on the phone and informed me that they were about to get my truck into the shop in the next few minutes and he would call me back. Then, at roughly 5PM I get a call from Steve informing me that my truck needed to have the brakes, rotors and hubs replaced and it was going to be around $630 plus tax. He told me if I gave him the go ahead they could get it done that same day and I felt really rushed to make a decision. I advised that they go ahead and get it done. I was really upset with this as I had a coupon for brakes and machined rotors for $199 and had been advised a week prior that worse case scenario it would be around $450 if the rotors had to be replaced along with the brakes. When I mentioned this to Steve he advised that whoever I spoke with must've not accounted for the hubs needing to be replaced. I ended up paying almost $670 to get the work done which was $200 more than what I had anticipated as a worse case scenario. All this said and done, my truck is riding great again so that helps ease the hit to my wallet. I know that next time I need to do a little more research myself and not let my customer loyalty be what leads me.

Great service

Called as soon as y'all opened because of two flat tires and the car was picked up very quickly by the towing service. From then on, Haden at Covert kept me informed of everything going on until work was completed. Thank you for the great service.

Service was great. Only glitch was I was told my car was done. I checked out and my car was't there. I went back and realized I had someone else's paperwork. My car was not done yet.

F250 Truck Repairs

I have a couple of disappointments: 1) I booked the appointment on Monday for Thursday at 2 pm. I brought the truck at NOON on Thursday and then they said wouldn't be a be able to look at it until Friday. I got a call around 4 pm Friday asking to call them back and that they would be around until 6:30 pm. I called back at 4:30 pm but did not get another call until mid-morning Monday. I travel for a living so I had to rent a car for the week so this was additional out of pocket cost for me. 2) I had to explain my problems 3 times. I fully documented the issues I needed addressed in the appointment I booked but, apparently, nobody ever looked at that because when I can in, I had to run through them all again verbally with Steve. Then on Monday, Steve called me with the mechanic and I had to explain it again over the phone.
