The facilities are what you'd expect and not in bad shape but the service center is obtusely detached from the dealership a slight distance, just far enough to make you second guess you're going in the right direction and is only noticeably inconvenient. One thing I would suggest for the auto dealer area as a whole is updating the pedestrian infrastructure in that area maybe even go as far down to St. Elmos. It would alleviate the burden of the service center and staff having to maintain all those people waiting for their vehicles, provide customers with amenities at no expense to yourself, and generate positive exposure. Happy people speak highly of their experiences and are more apt to recommend that business to others. For example, I couldn't tell you a single name of any of the employees who assisted me, but I do remember the coffee and breakfast I had while waiting. It's all about the experience.

I recently took my Toyota 4Runner in for an oil change
I recently took my Toyota 4Runner in for an oil change and a trip check. Greg Coy is my Service Advisor, assisted by Arturo Gomez. I have used Greg and AutoNation Toyota South Austin exclusively since I purchased this vehicle in 2006. Greg has kept this vehicle in excellent condition, advising me what work absolutely needs to be done to keep the vehicle running smoothly and safely. If work can be delayed, he is open and honest about it. I will continue taking my 4Runner to Greg and this Toyota Service Center as I am very pleased with the service I receive.
