UNETHICAL SALES CHARADE!

SO UNETHICAL! CHARADES! ROTTEN SALES TRICKS! Worked out a whole deal with them on a new lease for an Atlas. Haggle back and forth and they give you a great deal on paper which is unbeatable however, they give you tier 1 pricing knowing all along which of the 8 tiers you are in. They keep this charade going through the deposit, signing initial deal sheets, and right up until pickup. They ask for proof of insurance set a date a d time for pickup. Walk in the door they congratulate you and make you sign deal papers again with the salesperson reflecting the awesome price. They then move you to finance to finish up the paperwork. The finance manager asks if you want the door shut before he talks about credit. He then drops the bomb that the payment is $80 more a month. They know this from the minute you walk in and keep the lie going until signing figuring you have invested so much time already you will agree. No chance! Any dealership playing those games is NOT TRUSTWORTHY, we ran out of there and went to JACK DANIELS VW FAIRLAWN, they showed us all 8 tiers up front and explained what tier we fell into. Picking up the car from them In 2 days! Totally different experience.

Great place, exceptional service

Found exactly what I was looking for, responses were prompt, dealer fees weren’t crazy like other places, and cars were immaculate. Car was ready upon my arrival for a test drive and I found it to be incredibly clean inside and out. John and Luke were fantastic. They even stayed late for me. Thank you so much! I love my new BRZ!

Suprise Fees add At Point of sALE

Sorry Trend but your surprise fees at the point of sale are not what I expected. Your advertised internet fee isn't transparent and you need to work on that. Ready to seal the deal when sales person hit me up with $995 reconditioning fee and $220 security fee. Really I expected the documents fee but to add an almost $1200 (1800 with documents fee) at point of sale didn't work for me.

HASSLE FREE EXPERIENCE!

From the first contact with Jessica Dean I knew that we were in good hands. She worked out an amazing deal on a VW ATLAS for our family. They had everything ready for us when we arrived on MEMORIAL DAY! We were in and out in 30 minutes! By far the BEST car buying EXPERIENCE!

Wouldn't do business with the USED Car Section.

The wife and I originally go the the used car dealership to check out VW GTI's. They had maybe 5-6 to look at but the space is so small and cramped could barely fit around the cars to check them out. (I actually torn my jeans getting stuck on a license plate passing around 2 vehicles.) We found one that had leather seating and Automatic which we preferred. Walked around the outside of the car and found all 4 rims had severe curb rash. They were so bad, even the Wheels had gouges taken out of the rubber. And this wasn't the only car like that. Basically the whole lot hit every curb in town. I figured being "certified" they would come better looking and cared for than that. John asked if we wanted to test drive one of them but we declined and left. Even after that. We returned again this past week because they got my dream car in. A VW GOLF R. (Had a 2004 R32 when I was younger.) We were already iffy because the Carfax says there has been 4 previous owners since 2015. When we pulled up, the car was in the back of the building with a radar detector in the window. Wife mentions that it looks like someone already owns it. We walk inside and ask for John but he was leaving for the day so Casey was going to take us for a test drive. Had to get the keys from the manager who has been using it for his own vehicle. Says he drives to work 40 mins back and forth.(THANKS, Rack up those miles for the next person who buys it.) Mentions he asked his wife if he could buy it and she said No. He then says to us, "I just want to put it out there because when you test drive it, going to see an error come up on the screen." "The car was sitting in the front of the building during the week and a motorcycle hit the front end." He says they fixed the front end damage but the cornering headlight is malfunctioning and needs to go back to the shop for more repairs.. Alrighty then... So Casey brings us to the car, he Seems like a cool laid back individual. Tells us about his Audi among other things when I mention I used to own a VW R32. Small chit chat like activities. We take the test drive around town. Yadda Yadda.. Bring the car back, we tell them we will think about it.. Especially since its about 2 grand over Blue Book Value. The price they are asking would be around the cost if the car was Certified.. Casey gives us his card, manager looks at us and says "You're not buying the car today?!" Ha. No.. We get home and email Casey. We Thank Him for the test drive and ask him some questions about the vehicle. Warranty, if the car is or can be Certified, Why the carfax says there has been 4 owners already, and why the wife noticed a huge gash in the passenger rear window.. He responds late in the day and says he will answer all questions and things Monday morning. Today comes and not a single email or call from the dealership.. I message him back and tell him to not even send a followup email. We will definitely be going to another local VW dealership.

Great Car - Nice Staff...

I had not planned on buying a VW, but liked Trends' staff and in particular my sales person John Bednar, (the loan person was Bruno.) They were very courteous and professional and made me feel very comfortable. I ended up purchasing a 2016 Jetta with sunroof and lots of other features in the color I wanted. I love the car!!! The car is clean, sporty, has nav-GPS, Apple Car Play, back-up cam, and a few other items and comes with a pre-owned warranty, and roadside assistance. I am glad I went to this dealer to browse and plan to use them again. I will also tell friends and family to consider shopping at Trend.

Jessica Dean

Had a great experience today at Trend. I’ve always regretted buying a new car. It’s a process of research and trying to get the best price without feeling like you have been taken advantage of. Jessica Dean made my experience the best. She is knowledgeable and transparent.

Routine maintenance and fixing an issue that came up

I brought my car in for the 20K Service and told my service rep about an issue with my compass. I have to compliment The Trend Maintenance Team! They did not give up until the problem was solved! I t took a few day and Trend loaned me a car so I could still go about my like! They resolved the problem and now I have no issues! Happy Again! Thanks Trend! This is my 3rd car I have bought from Trend! Love my VW and Love Trend Motors!!!
