I recently had my 2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid with 250,661 miles serviced at Larry H. Miller AMERICAN TOYOTA. Because of the pandemic the dealership is using Uber and Lyft to take their customers to their offices while their cars are being serviced. This third-party transportation arrangement worked fine in taking me from the dealership to my office, but it was a total disaster picking me up at my office to take me back to the dealership. Neither the Uber driver or the Lyft driver (we tried using both) ever showed up--even though they said they did. Richard Pohl, the very fine service manager at American Toyota stayed until 6 pm--an hour past his normal quitting time--trying to get me a ride. I ended up having my wife pick me up at my office. The next morning Richard Pohl had my car delivered to my home. To compensate for the inconvenience, he also had my wheels aligned for free. Richard Pohl is a customer-service-oriented manager whose conscientious work ethic reflects well on Larry H. Miller AMERICAN TOYOTA.

I purchased a TCA plan and took my car in on 2/24/21. I was given a ride home while the work was being done and I appreciate that very much. I received an e-mail that my car needed some work and I approved a brake fluid replacement. However, I later realized I had that done at another shop in 9/20 so gave Luis Alvarez a call letting him know. This was after the work had been performed and paid for. Luis said he would give me a credit for the amount paid for the brake fluid replacement. I appreciate that Luis was available by phone and gave me a credit without complaining about it. I also appreciate that they washed my car! I would wonder about the test you use to determine the need for brake fluid replacement. Why did it show I needed it again? I am very careful to have all recommended maintenance done but can not always afford to have it done at the dealer.
