Car had mechanical problems. Told sales person to call us when they were fixed. No one followed up with us after that.

Top notch is what I can say about these folks.

Top notch is what I can say about these folks. Consultant Jon Thompson had left us feeling very comfortable with our purchase. Finance not only did his job with a level of professionalism, but also led with the purpose to educate us as much as possible. I highly recommend DARCARS for any future purchases.

Go here they treat people right!

Saw a Toyota online and send in an inquiry. That’s when I found out this place is on it. They sent me a video of the vehicle. An email with the CARFAX and window sticker. I found out they have a new General Manager. He definitely understands todays buyers. They made everything so easy. People should know about this place!

DISRESPECTED - DARCARS Lost a Loyal Customer

First, I'd like to mention that I have bought 8 cars from DARCARS Lexus of Silver Spring over the last few years (Baya is an outstanding salesperson) and I have always had a great experience. For that reason, I decided to visit DARCAR Pre-Owned Fairfax because I'm in the market to buy a minivan for my au pair. I decided to visit this dealership to test drive a minivan they had advertised on cars.com. During my test drive the sales associate and I noticed the ride of the van was a little rough. I asked the sales associate if there was work done to the suspension and he agreed to check the service records when we returned to the dealership. Upon our return, I was approached by the general manager and he asked me what I thought about the van. I told him I was interested, however, I was concerned about the bumpiness of the ride and had questions about the suspension. The general manager immediately became very defensive and says he drove the van the past two days and didn't notice anything wrong with it. I responded by saying, "Really?... You didn't notice anything?". He then looks at me with distain and says, "Have a nice day." I was stunned. He repeats himself, "Have a nice day" and stares. He was obviously dismissing me, no longer willing to provide me with service, and passive aggressively asking me to leave. All the sales associates in the dealership, including the salesperson who accompanied me on the test drive, witnessed this interaction and stood silently watching. I turned to them and repeated what was said to me... "He told me to have a nice day". I contained my anger from this blatant disrespect, turned and walked out. I am an educated black man. I lead a commercial real estate brokerage and I usually dress professionally. However, today I arrived to this dealership wearing a hooded sweat suit. I am 100% convinced that if I "looked" differently the general manager would have treated me differently. With that said, I will never buy another car from DARCARS again.

Great Dealership!

To anyone shopping for a great used car. Go to DarCars of Fairfax where you are treated like family from start to finish. I don’t believe the bad reviews because everyone that I Met there was phenomenal. My sales person was Daniel he had very thorough knowledge of the BMW I was looking to purchase. He knew exactly what I wanted and was very kind as well. The General Manager I.J. was amazing and helped me out from start to finish. He was the one who greeted me when i walked through the door and even thanked me when i left. I.J. Is a one of a kind General Manager and is as nice and professional as can be. Then at last there was the Finance Manager, Jessica. She was a very nice lady who assisted me throughout the financing process. The part most people dread was a breeze as everything was thoroughly explained to me. I’m one of the people that never buys warranty but Jessica gave me enough information to make an informed decision and purchase it with my financing. To anyone looking for a good used car or truck, Go see the people that treat you right and make you feel at ease the moment you arrive on their lot. Go see I.J. , Daniel and Jessica and let them know a very happy customer sent you. I was pleasantly surprised they were open, what a great dealership!

POOR CONDITION OF VEHICLE

I walked in to purchase a specific car, but it was making a weird noise. Looked at 2nd choice and the battery was dead. Should have been my red flag, but I looked at one more vehicle and we liked it. Test drove it and it was a good ride. Overall appearance was great and we make the purchase. We live in MD so it had to go through inspection again and it failed. There was a tag light out and there was apparently a short in the right front signal light so the housing had to be replaced. I wasn't happy, but it was fixed. There was an oil change sticker on the car from DARCARS with the 3K mileage. My son is away at college and just called to say the oil change light came on. WHY? It still has over 1,500 miles to go according to the sticker. He takes it for an oil change only to discover all of the filters were black and falling apart. So this tells me NO INSPECTION OF ANY KIND was done to this vehicle. I would not recommend DARCARS Used Cars of Fairfax to purchase a vehicle. I would expect this from maybe a small mom and pop shop, but not from DARCARS.

Outstanding Service

I walked into the dealer knowing what I was looking for. At the sales counter I was met by IJ and Jessika Floyd. They greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel like I was their most important customer ever to visit the dealership. IJ was able to talk to me about the car and provide all the facts that I needed to know. Then I worked with Ms Floyd in finance, she was so helpful and caring. I never felt pressured at any point. I almost felt like family. The best part of this review is that they sold me the perfect car for my daughter’s 16th Birthday present. Thank You Jessika and IJ!

Great customer service

Thank you to Jon my sales person and the General Manager was great as O had bad credit and he really worked with me.Finance manager, Jessica was also great and all 3 of these people were very professional. I would highly recommend this Darcars Fairfax dealership to anyone looking to be treated fairly and with the respect that a car buyer deserves. THANKS AGAIN IJ GENERAL MANAGER YOU ARE THE BEST.

horrible service

Sold me a car that was messed up and literally I came back two days after purchasing it . They said it was my problem my warranty dosent cover it and that and they are not fixing it. DO NOT COME HERE.....
