Great Experience Getting Into My Next Mini!

Great experience
On October 25 2016 I went to herb chambers of BMW. I met with Mo Omar an client advisor of BMW. At first I wasn't to sure about it but after associating with Omar he was one of the nicest sales person I've met in a long time. He was friendly with me and my children and also kept them in the conversation so they wouldn't feel left out. He helped me very much and guided me in the right directions. Herb Chambers puts the "serve" back into service!!
I have bought 3 cars (2 Mini Coopers and a Lincoln Navigator) from Herb Chambers Boston and each time I go back things just get better and better! From the Service Dept. (Liz and Matt) and all the others that have given great service to David Lopez in Sales and Natalie in the Loan Dept.,my experience has been one to look forward to. David Lopez is a real GEM!! Thank you for your wonderful, low pressure, attentive, approach David. I gave David a tall list of "must haves" I was looking for in my used car search and he fulfilled my whole lis! With so many dealers to choose from go with Herb
With so many dealers in the Boston area it can feel overwhelming, but Herb Chambers is the best. Omar, our sales representative, went above and beyond. My wife (who was 8 month pregnant) and myself had a lengthy list of needs. Omar was able to respond quickly, accurately, and politely. Don't put up with pushy and annoying sales at other dealers. Omar was always available via email, phone and even cell phone. He earned our business and our trust. Herb Chambers pricing is very competitive, but Omar's sales service is what sold us. I highly recommend him to anyone interested in a BMW. We will be coming back for our next car. A+ service.

Service is poor, charge fee with no service
I had an engine oil service, and front pad and disc change service ($855.10) at Herb Chambers BMW Boston. My complaint is that I suspect that the engine oil service is not done for following reasons: 1) The car computer panel is still showing the same mileage (9000 miles) and same oil level as I drove into the dealer garage; 2) The car was not washed. 3) The oil change sticker in the left top corner of windshield still showed oil change date 11/06/2015; 4) The oil level is down (8000 miles) only after 2-3 weeks service. Previously the oil level down happened 6 months after the oil change service. 5) Also I only had front brake service, but the computer panel showed the next front brake service is 25,000 miles, rear brake service is 50,000 miles (I didn't work on rear brake). That showed your technician careless for the customer service. I called the Service after I got back home, and left a voice msg, but nobody from BMW Boston call me back. Even after I reported this issue to the dealer, they still have not contacted me, and answered my question. I can't believe a brand name dealer charged fee with no service, Also very poor post-service to take care of the customer's concern. I definitely will not recommend to go to this dealer for service in the future.

No fuss, no muss, and bring the dog!
I just took delivery of my third Mini on lease. As with my 2014 Cooperman and my 2011 Cooper, the entire transaction was smooth, open and efficient. This time I have a 2016 Clubman. Norm discussed options with me and my wife, and even let our dog join us for the test rides. Over the last 6 years, most of my visits to Herb Chambers are for service. Once a year for routine stuff and occasionally for something that comes up. Herb Chambers really has servicing customers figured out. From the time you pull in, they are focused on taking care of you and getting the job done. This attention to detail makes the inconvenience of a trip for service as pleasant as owning a cool Mini Cooper. Less frequently are the visits to the sales floor. Because purchasing or leasing a car is done so infrequently, it is so critical that the sales person walk the customer through the process and be a guide first, and sell down the list. That's how working with Norm is done. He explains the features of the current models, helps discuss the options (buy out at end of lease or new vehicle) and find what is right for me. And Norm and the Herb Chambers team handle the red tape and details of the transaction as smoothly. Instead of a traumatic end of lease vehicle inspection, Mark Landy gets the job done. Sorry about D turning down the dog treats Mark, he just isn't into treats! And lastly Norm sits in your new car and walks you through the new features. Every business with sales people should go to Herb Chambers and watch and learn. Thanks Norm
