Impressed with the service i received at AutoMax
A friend had referred me to AutoMax when I was shopping around for a car, being someone whose credit was not so great I knew my options were limited. Sal was the man I dealt with and he was very professional. I told him what I was looking for and what my budget was and he worked around that and actually got me a car that was below my budget. The whole process from start to finish was about 1week. I got a 2014 Nissan that I'm very happy with. I rated this place a 5 star because I've been to other places before coming here and they were beyond rude.

I have to start my review by saying car buying is one of the most stressful things a person can do. I found my vehicle on the dealerships website and proceeded to call to make sure it was still there. My salesperson was Mike O. He handled me with professionalism from our first meeting until my delivery. The dealership is stocked with late model luxury vehicles. The vehicles on the showroom floor are labeled with signs not to touch or sit inside but that should be expected when you have a lot of people in the showroom and $50,000+ vehicles within reach. The vehicle I ended up purchasing was a 2012 Mini Cooper. I did my research BEFORE I went to the dealer. I knew what I should expect to pay, what came standard with the vehicle, and what my credit score was. Dealing with Mike O. was the best car buying experience I have had. In my mid forties I have purchased over 13 vehicles and this my the least painful experience by far. While I was at the dealership I had the chance to overhear some of the other conversations between customers and salespeople and I would say there is some customer service training needed for some. Bottom line, do your homework. If they have the vehicle you want at a price you believe is fair, set up an appointment with Mike O. Billy in finance is also extremely knowledgeable and experienced. It is a great dealership to purchase a late model luxury vehicle still under warranty. My MINI was delivered to me within hours of the registry and insurance agents opening on Monday and I had zero issues with any of the procedures, paperwork, or personnel.

Horrible Experience!
Shady business going on here. I'm not sure if it was the 'ol bait and switch or just plain laziness, but something just isn't right with how these guys do business. I drove out there from Boston to look at an amazing deal I saw on their website on a Honda CR-V. I was told they couldn't find the car. (How does one misplace an SUV?!?). I was then asked if I was prepared to buy today "if" they could find the car. I told him probably not, as there is one more model I want to test drive before I make my final decision. After that, his entire demeanor changed. He told me "we" were wasting "our" time, and that I should come back when I figure out what I want. So basically, he decided I was wasting his time because I didn't have my wallet open that very day. At that point I was weary of doing business with them anyways. I'm not going to mention his name, as I realize everyone has bad days and perhaps this was just one of his, but this sales guy was totally unprofessional, checking his phone and texting as we were having a conversation at his desk. Not to mention, this place actually has signs on the showroom cars saying "Please do not touch or sit in the cars". I thought it was a joke at first, honestly. I mean, isn't that the point of coming to a showroom? I've been to many dealerships in the past month, and have never seen one that cared less about their customers.

Great Dealership
I stopped at the dealer ship on Saturday Night after I have been looking for a car the past few weeks. Steg greeted me as I walked in and asked me what I was looking for. He recommended few cars that met what I was looking for. The price was great and he was able to take my trade in. Sunday afternoon I was driving my ML 350 home with my wife and two boys. Monday morning I got a phone call from Steg that my car registration was all set. This was a great weekend for me, working weekdays and not having the time off. I was able to get an excellent cat thanks to The Auto Max team. While I was there I met Dino another sales man who was very friendly. Also I dealt with Mike Rowe who explained my warranty and who went mile to make sure that my family was safe and had a good experience.

purchased my new to me MDX
Saw my new to me Acura MDX on cars.com, and called Automax, Being from Northern VT, I did not want to waste a trip down. Lots of phone calls to Robbie, even on his days off!! He was always there. My Acura MDX was priced thousands less than any where else. I took a nice 90 minute test drive to see how the vehicle drove, and I wasn't disappointed. I would definitely buy from these guys again.

still waiting for my suv
bought my car last Monday, suppose to get a call Tuesday to pick it up no one called so I happened to call, and the salesman said that it needed a computer module and that no one around had it so they had to order one. its been a week already. where did they order it from china. at least they could of called to let me know how long it would be but no one bothered to call and give me some kind of timeframe. I am very disappointed with the service I received and am thinking of cancelling my purchase.,i mean who buys a car and a week later they still don't have it

worst experience
i went in test rode a couple cars , then i had them take a look at my car for a trade . at that point they offered me $11500 for my car so i got the purchase and sales agreement . i returned 2 days later with a bank check to pay for the car , and was told they only had 1 key and i would have to purchase a 2nd , was not happy but said ok. then i was told they needed to look at my car again and took it around back . i was then approched by service manager saying he could only give me $10,000 for my car $1500. less than what the original deal said .take it or leave it!!(i had already got a bank check for the amt of the original deal ) this service manager was rude and a jerk . he also told me my check engine light was on . ( it was not on before they took it around back ). so this auto dealer makes a deal then tries to screw you by tripping the check engine light ( which can be done in a variety of different ways because of thr computer in cars ) and then offers you less on your trade . I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE !! WHAT A WASTE OF YOUR TIME IT WAS , i just walked out

Nick was my salesman and he did a great job finding the car I wanted at a cheap price. He answered all my questions and I was able to find the used car I was looking for. I have never met a sales professional like Nick he knew what he was doing. Thank you Nick and The entire AutoMax crew for giving me a top notch experience.
