service has always been there for me...

When I moved to Canton 9 years ago, I needed a car. While driving past Mitchell daily, I fell in love with the 2005 Outback which fit my active lifestyle perfectly. The Subaru reputation and Mitchell's location convenience was a no brainer. Once I had a repair done out of town, a 'good deal'. That required Mitchell to repair their work. Now 118,000 miles later, I visit more often to keep it safe and running smoothly which it does. They know my car, I work with them, they with me. Thanks Vinny for the recent rescue. I'll be back.

Overall Excellant Service

Ora was helpful throughout the process of leasing a car from Mitchell Subaru. We had intended to just look at Subaru for comparison and ended up with the Forester! Ora was friendly, knowledgable, and timely in every aspect of the experience.

Excellent Service!!!

Just wanted to take a moment and thank Jay Barnard and Greg (who's last name is escaping me as I am writing this) for a truly excellent buying experience at Mitchell Subaru!! I haven't bought a car in almost 20 years and was very nervous about how it would all play out. Jay couldn't have been more helpful and informative about the Subaru I was looking at. The whole process was very quick and comfortable! I never once felt pressured! Jay was the seller and Greg was the finance guy and both were equally great!!! If you are in the market for a Subaru, make the trek to Canton, CT and buy your next Subaru here!! You won't regret it!!!!

Our finance manager is Greg Shenas, Rebecca, and thank you for your recount of the experience, and for driving the few extra miles from Enfield to work with us. We've been here since '72 because we know what a perfect vehicle Subaru is for Connecticut, and have been successful over those decades because we treat people as we want to be treated -- respectful of everyone's time, effort, and investment. Buying a car doesn't need to be stressful, if you have people who actually listen to your needs and wishes!

Poor, expensive and untrustworthy 'Service'

I will never return here. Complete disorganization, 'first come first served' service experience makes appointments pointless and time management impossible. I was charged twice the quoted amount for brake fluid replacement, quoted (and refused) remote key fob replacement for 2X what another dealer quoted, was told an oil leak requires $1800 head gasket replacement, which subsequently turned out to be a $50 oil pressure switch replacement! The internal communication at Mitchell is equally poor..Rather than a reply from the Service Manager, I was contacted by their VW dealership about my inquiry about a used convertible??!?? This was the single worst, not to mention dishonest, service experience I have ever encountered.

A Trustworthy Dealership

The people at Mitchell Subaru are competent and pleasant to work with. The facilities are first rate. All repairs have been done right the first time. As on who values my own time, I appreciate the range of services available, including frss transportation to and from home to the dealership. While the charge rates are high, I am willing to pay to avail myself of them.

Mercedes M Class boo Subaru Forester From Mitchell

Mitchell Subaru is Excellent! Being a 3 time Mercedes M class Owner I can say that Mitchell is on par or above the service and care you get from a luxury car dealership! The Subaru Forester is a great ride, the in snow driving is great, very sturdy on the road!

Great car-buying experience

Had a great car buying experience at Mitchell Subaru. My salesperson was Jay Barnard. Jay was able to locate my preferred car (2014 Forester XT Premium) and color when no other dealers were able to do the same. There was no pressure and I received a fair price. Overall a great car buying experience.

Well said, John. If a dealer isn't willing to search for the perfect vehicle, they're likely looking to switch you to something they have in stock, and save themselves some time and trouble. But how do you make a life-long customer out of putting someone in a car they didn't want?
