Worst dealership in the tri state area

Leased a 2022 Honda Civic touring last July and was given a run around for 5 days to finalize the lease stating that their computers were down after having me sit at the dealership at minimum 4 hours a day. 3 months after leasing the vehicle the parking and brake sensors stopped working and I contacted the dealer about the defect, I called the dealer about the defect and they told me to come in so they can fix it. In April 2022 now after sitting there for 8 hours Donna Scala tells me they can’t fix the defect as they don’t have the part and can not give me an eta on when they can fix it. They then call me a month later in May to schedule an appointment stating that they have the part and can resolve the defect. So now i came back in today at 9am for my appointment to fix the defect and was told the car wouldn’t be ready till 4pm, so 4pm rolls around and I ask Adam Arnault if the car was ready and he states that the part that they ordered was the wrong part and the defect could not be resolved yet again. So my question is how in the world did it take them 7 hours to figure out if a part was correct for the vehicle. I then asked to speak to the service manager Kyle Roth and he stated that there is nothing he can do about the situation and “I don’t know what to tell you” as he does not have an eta on when the part can come in to fix the defect, and that’s their service MANAGER what a joke give me a better excuse then that at least. So I hope others can learn from my experience and try their best to avoid this dealership. Also when you’re almost done with the leasing or financing process they will tell you to leave a 5 star review and do the right thing after running you around for days to finalize the deal.

Long wait

I called and spoke with an advisor about repairing AC. I might have been considerate to let me know it would take ALL DAY. I will have been here 7 HOURS by the time they are done. This MIGHT have been information I could have used.

Not Genuine and Trustworthy.

They're a not genuine and not trustworthy. They scheduled me for an appointment today and refused to take my vehicle for service after visiting them. My car was serviced by them few months ago and went on the same issue again since they've not properly done there work. They refused to service my vehicle today because i responded to the Honda Survey genuinely. Donna Scala (Service Advisor) don't know how to talk to the customers...They do exactly opposite to the Honda's core principals.Totally disappointed with her the way she handled me. I waited for one hour to talk to the Service Manager to see if he could be of anyhelp. Finally the Neil Wood (Service Manager/Director) came after one hour and behaved in same way. The manager/director role is to address the issues, but he does exactly opposite and he's of no help. He said he can't have my vehicle inspected. They wasted my time. Totally not a good place if you want your vehicles to be serviced good. On the other hand, I had issue with the sales person. They took the deposit, ran the credit check and after a week, they started saying the car color is not available. Not a good place to shop the vehicles either Please think twice before going to this place. They don't even deserve a single star. Please report them to HONDA if you come across same issues to you.

Finance Manager duplicates 1st months

This dealership is the worst shopping experience someone could go through. They use terrible tactics to bait you in and even with that I was able to actually negotiate a good deal for myself. However, watch out for their finance guy when you sign your contract. Once I got to the finance guy he chose to ignore the signed negotiated deal and over charged me the first months payment. As a result of his negligence my first months payment was duplicated. Who can be considered a finance manager that over charges their customers. Unacceptable and unprofessional service. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. The dealership will rip you off and then will not answer your calls. Also, do not bother with Honda corporate, they are even more useless and incompetent.

laughable customer support

I've been on the phone for a while, trying to get in touch with someone to help me utilize and schedule the benefits I'm paying for with my lease. Seems like every representative can't help because it's not their department, but it's amazing how detailed every explanation has been as to why that particular rep can't help me. I'm impressed with how difficult this is. I'm still on the phone, and it's still ringing. In fact I had to call back because, after the third or fourth transfer, they hung up on me. In fact, after I called back, I heard someone pick up the phone just to be immediately put back on hold. If I had to rate this place on how spectacularly they can dish out bad customer service, I'd say 10/10. Phone's still ringing.

Don't go there parts

I bought a key and later noticed that the insurance for the key was not invoiced. I paid for the key myself which it was required by insurance. The dealer refused to cancel the invoice and create a new invoice to bill the insurance company. Now the insurance don't want to pay since the dealer needed to invoice them first. It is difficult to believe that the dealer could not cancel an invoice. People return cars after they buy them.

Garbage dealer

I have brought 4 cars here but definitely NOT by choice. They are a bunch of scam trash. The only reason I reluctantly had to buy the car(s) here is they have a large inventory and are close to where I live. Price wise, they are competitive. But they will try to screw you over on fees and financing. Don’t take their garbage. Throw it back at their face. I have had multiple problems too numerous to list. 1) trying to pulling rug from under you during financing. not offer you official Honda rate when my credit score is over 800 claiming you take dealer discount or the rate. 2) not write in floor mats and never got floor mats when buying car 3) held deposit for a car they could NOT deliver for over 4 weeks. Went to get my deposit back 5 different times. 4) high dealer fees compared to other NJ dealers 5) forced protection package mark up on every single car. Bottom line. Take your money some where else!
