AutoNation Subaru Hunt Valley

It has been quite a while since I have bought a new car and I was not looking forward to it, expecting the experience to be high pressure and unpleasant. My experience at Hunt Valley Subaru was the exact opposite. I actually enjoyed the experience! My salesman, Stephen Colbert, was exceptional from the very first contact. From an initial email with him until I drove the car off the lot and even after in follow-up, he was so professional, honest, and knowledgeable. I started looking at the end of the month and, unlike other salesmen and competing dealerships, Stephen never pushed me to make a decision in order to meet their sales quotas. In fact, he never mentioned their sales quotas or what time of the month it was (unlike other dealers). He respected where I was in my process and just made himself available to me to answer questions and meet when I wanted to. I felt like he had my best interest at heart and would go the extra mile for me. Most importantly, his actions matched his words! My overall experience with this dealership paralleled my experience with Stephen. Everyone, from the General Manager, Allen Burrill, to Emily, who walked me through the technology in the car, were very pleasant to deal with and very customer-focused. Even the gentleman (sorry, I can't remember his name) who had to do some dealing to find my car because I wanted a color that wasn't in their current inventory, seemed to take particular pride and pleasure in getting me the car I wanted, and he greeted me when I came to pick it up and immediately asked if I liked the color to be sure it worked for me. And of course, I loved the color and the car! What a team at AutoNation Subaru Hunt Valley! Thank you to everyone for making this such a pleasant experience!!

Due to my lack of transportation , he brought the car to my home and allowed me to drive it to the dealership to complete the paperwork. At the dealership I was treated wonderfully and expeditiously. Each time I came to the dealership the staff was helpful and friendly. A couple of time I felt as though I was being urged to buy extras that I didn't really want.

After dealing with a few other dealerships, one very close to my home, it was refreshing to have someone listen to our needs and wants and not try to treat us like we hadn't done our homework on buying a new car. Lance was very helpful and pointed out things that we missed. This is our 3rd Subaru and after this experience we plan to buy our next Outback from Autonation next year.

This is the 2nd Subaru Outback I have purchased from AutoNation Subaru of Hunt Valley. On both occasions I was treated professionally and with courtesy. Everything is explained i an easy to understand manner and I have not experienced any pressure from the sales person There was a wide assortment of vehicles for me to choose from and was very pleased with the purchase price. There service department is excellent and I had all of the maintenance performed on my 2018 Outback at their facility. The showroom is clean and well lit. I would, highly, recommend you considering Hunt Valley Subaru for all of the above reasons.
