Maybe your experience here really depends on who you get. I recently visited this Kia location with full intentions of purchasing a new Kia Sorento. Our salesman was great, showed me what was in stock and what we were looking to pay. We set our expectations that we do not want to spend over MSRP for a car, because why would you?! After our salesman spoke to the finance manager, he comes back with some numbers 7K over MSRP with 2K equity in my current car. So essentially 5K over MSRP. I said no and was ready to leave but the salesman said he would see what he can do. They come back with MSRP but no equity in the car and some additional information I didn't ask for on current loan rates, they were saying 8%. What they didn't know is I got pre-approved for the amount of this car before going there for 5.9% and asked why it would be 8% and they said because when you finance a car through them, they will add a few percent, so they make money. But they would do 6% on the original 7k price over MSRP... When you do the math, they're making more on this deal then they were had I taken the car for 7K over MSRP at 6%. The sales manager told me that they're legally allowed to add a few percentage to the lowest rate they get from the bank, which may be true but doesn't mean it's ethical. The sales manager was telling me that I was unwilling to work with them when in fact it was them unwilling to work with me. I said I would buy the car at MSRP in cash and the sales manager said no that they would only sell me the car then at 7k above MSRP. It's a game, they have a number in their head that they want to make on the car and they will make it seem like they're giving you a deal when in fact they're not. Long story short, they make money, always. Don't fall for their games. If they're acting like they're doing you a favor, they're most likely not. And don't dare ever tell them you know what they're doing. They lost a possible life long customer today, I'll take my business else where.

ADDENDUM: Less than 24 hours after posting this review we were contacted by someone from Kia. They listened to what we had to say, and will pay half of the remaining car payments for my Honda. Given that we were also at fault for not getting this part of the deal in writing, we thought this was fair. We very much appreciate Kia of Huntington reaching out and making sure we were satisfied. Love my Telluride but feel taken advantage of by the dealership. We were walking away from the deal, and the salesman asked what it would take for us to buy the car. I said if the monthly payment came down to what I was paying now I’d be in. Lo and behold, he was able to make this happen. Payment came down dramatically AND they were going to pay off my Honda lease. Score! Left in my new car. It’s now about two weeks later and we find out that Kia is NOT paying off my lease as stated. We Call our sales guy and he initially recalls that they’d pay off the lease. He’ll call us back. He calls back and says that it wasn’t in the agreement. Now I have double car payments until March. It’s our fault for not getting it in writing but we will NEVER buy from this dealership again. Talk about a bait and switch.

The group at Kia of Huntington has been awesome. The worked really hard to find the car that I needed, and in this market, I got a great deal. Very grateful to them for their professionalism, honesty, hard work and willingness to work with me. I've been shopping for a car for like three months, and hit road block after road block... until I went to Kia of Huntington. They found the right car, found it quickly, and really made it work. Very grateful!

An unexpectedly great experience!
All I have to say is that this car was exactly as described on the website and the staff and management were wonderful to work with. Especially in this difficult time to find quality pre-owned cars that other dealers are gouging for, I was able to settle on a price that I felt comfortable with and one that was more than fair. The manager Tim was a delight to deal with and delivered on every promise he made. If I were to recommend a dealership to my friends or family, this would be the one.

UPON MY ARRIVAL THE VERY NEXT MORNING, ASAD (SALES) INFORMED ME THEY HAD NO CARS AT ALL OF THAT MODEL, BUT HE HAD MORE EXPENSIVE MODELS. HE TOLD ME HE WOULD CHECK INTO WHO TOLD ME IT WAS AVAILABLE. WHEN I SAW JACKIE WALK BY, I ASKED HER WHO SHE SPOKE TO THAT CONFIRMED THE CAR WAS AVAILABLE. SHE TOLD ME IT WAS ASAD. SO HE LIED. MANAGER MIKE WALKED OVER. I TOLD HIM THIS SOUNDS LIKE A BAIT & SWITCH (AN ILLEGAL TACTIC). HE ABRUPTLY INTERRUPTED ME SAYING "I GUESS YOU ARE NOT GOING TO DO BUSINESS WITH US", WALKED AWAY & IGNORED MY REQUEST FOR HIS LAST NAME. THE RECEPTIONIST ALSO REFUSED. KINDA STUPID SINCE EVERYONE'S NAMES ARE ON THEIR WEB SITE. I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE. WORST CAR EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! A BYSTANDER OVERHEARD ALL OF THIS, SAYING HE WORKED FOR A DEALERSHIP HIMSELF & HE WOULD NEVER TREAT SOMEONE LIKE THEY TREATED ME.

IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR LIFE AND YOUR LOVED ONES THAT YOURE GOING TO BE DRIVING WITH. DONT GO SHOPPING FOR CARS HERE! THEY DONT INSPECT THEIR CARS LIKE THEY SAY. This got to be the worst experience of my life buying a car from them. First of all I called about a car I was interested in and put a deposit on it because I was driving from CT to Long Island, the title was delayed almost a month to come in, so I couldn’t buy the car until it got to the dealer which I was fine with the wait. Secondly after the title arrived my sales representative Asad was the one to call me to see when I can come in to see the car. I got there and test drove the car. First I realized the dashboard said the left back passenger side tire is low almost 11 PSI off from the other ones which I took a picture of. I addressed this issue to Asad and he said he would take of it, he was suppose to put air in it after the test drive was done which he completely forgot to do because he got distracted with another customer he had. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR LIFE. Once you sign the papers, you’re all on your own. I bought the car last Tuesday the 17th of may 2022. On Thursday the 19th after only driving the car back home to CT. The same tire went from reading 33PSI to 26PSI. I contacted my sales rep to keep him updated about the issue that I addressed to him during the test drive and he said he would talk to the manager and get back to me shortly. That alone took 4 days, and when I called to check they said the manager was out sick. Now I’m ubering everywhere because I bought a 35k car that I can’t drive. Thirdly, I was asked to sign the papers and I was only showed the monthly payments. When I asked them to walk me through the numbers, I found out they charged me ~$900 bank processing fees without telling me and the $900 was combined with taxes so I don’t see it. When I questioned the business manager, she said ALL banks charge fees, but why was not I told about it??why the fees were not listed on the final docs?? I got no answer and then they waived it. PLEASE CHECK ALL THE NUMBERS BEFORE YOU SIGN ANYTHING. Now I’m being fully ignored by the sales rep Asad when I call him, the service manager that I called yesterday was extremely rude on the phone and kept yelling WE ARE NOT CHANGING YOUR TIRE. WE’ll ONLY FIX IT. I haven’t owned the car for more than week and I was told I had bumper to bumper warranty for a month.

We are sorry for your unpleasant experience. At Kia of Huntington we strive for 100% customer satisfaction. All of our vehicles are thoroughly inspected and we would never deliver a car with a nail or "a few nails" in the tire. Unfortunately, tires are never a covered item because of the road hazzards that exist. By any chance, did you purchase tire & wheel coverage? We offer it to all of our customers for this reason.
Shaddy closing costs
Went to pick up car and agreed upon price now had $6000 in additional costs. This was after asking if the price was fixed and no additional costs will be added and was told at least 3 times that was correct.
