Best experience

We had the best experience leasing/purchasing a car here in our 40 years in buying cars. Our salesman was the best. He went above and beyond to help us. You felt NO pressure and he was extremely personable. Not to mention a great sense of humor. I would go out of my way to work with Kurt Daehnert again. Thank you Kurt and Shuman.

New Jeep Wrangler Owner...

I purchased my 2018 Wrangler High Altitude on 11/24/17 it is now 11/25/17 Being a person who monitors his credit I was told that my credit would be ran only by the dealership ! and not passed around for unnecessary inquiries... Well it's the next morning and I have 5 Inquiries !!! Which in know doubt will lower my score of 720, Quicker than you can say " Thanks guys for not shopping my credit as YOU promised ". Love my Jeep BUT not these 5 inquiries in less than 24 hours... How ever Nick Dalsasso worked hard on getting the Price that works for me . So folks other than that im satisfied . D McNeal

Ram Truck Purchase

I recently purchased a 2017 Ram from Joe N and couldn't be happier, they went above and beyond to not only find the truck I was looking, which by the way was in Maryland I think but also delivered it to my office. the truck was clean and was exactly what I wanted. thanks to Joe and the whole Shuman team for another great experience!!!!

2018 Grand Cherokee Limited lease

Love my new car so far! The dealership really worked with me to help me get into the car I wanted, I really appreciated them. My salesperson Nick was incredibly courteous and knowledgeable, very friendly and patient.

New lease

I came in to turn in my old town & country lease and get a new Pacifica. Worked with Steve Hacker and he was patient and professional- and I was very indecisive and he worked with me until I was comfortable with everything. My prior leases were with a different local dealership and I will definitely be back to Shuman. Both Steve and the finance manager stayed late to finalize last minute changes. Thanks again- I am very happy with my new van and how I was treated.

warranty repair

I bought a used vehicle from another dealership; they went above and beyond to take care of my warranty work (even though they did NOT have to). The crew is friendly and the service area was a super clean environment. They also offer the best deals for oil changes!

High Milage Service

Our 2014 Cherokee was making noise at the serpentine belt side of the engine. Turned out to be worn idler pulley. Further inspection by service technician Chris revealed rear differential starting to seep and one front strut worn out. We have Max Care lifetime warranty so these were covered (except the belt). Service advisor Dean Decker was very helpful in communicating updates. He tried to do the right thing at the strong advice of Chris: Replace BOTH front struts (not just one side as Max Care inspector authorized). Max Care was adamant that if it's not leaking, it's not broke, we don't pay! I tried to get them to understand my view (that the mechanic is RIGHT). It is a suspension SYSTEM and leaving a nearly worn out strut with 140,000 miles on one side is really illogical. Dean offered a compromise on cost which helped (and we didn't end up with yet another deductible in the near future to replace the remaining old strut at 140,100 miles ; ) Chris the technician was pushing for the right thing to do for the customer. I agreed 100%. Dean helped ease the cost after trying to get it covered but being refused.. Max Care inspector was not sensible about the "strut thing" and wasted half a day of everyone's time. (There are details to the conversations that allow me to say these things.) Chris was authorized to do the job properly and still got it out just before Thanksgiving Holiday. Kudos to both Dean and Chris for being on our side!

Came in to have Engine "Klunk" sound checked.

On Nov. 10, 2017 I stopped in to Shuman's to see Mike about a Klunking sound I hear every time I stop going forward and put the car in reverse and begin to move. I demonstrated it to Mike but we couldn't tell just where it was coming from. It was late in the day and Mike said his transmission man was going to be off all next week and I should bring it back on Tuesday Nov, 21st. I returned on that Tuesday and Mike had Chuck C. ,the trans. man, come to the drive in and I demonstrated the problem. to Chuck C. Chuck thought he might know where the noise was coming from so he took the car for a road test and then drove it into the service garage. I waited in the drive in area and then I went back to the parts department to check on something. From the hallway I could see my car and Chuck, who was laying on the floor with and impact wrench checking a mount Evidently all the hoists were tied up. That Didn't Stop Chuck C. Mike brought the car to me and told me what Chuck had found but if the mount loosed again it would have to be replaced.. I drove the car-no more Klunk. Honest and Great Service.

Excellent

Excellent lease experience. Mike Yezak, sales consultant, gave me a very good deal. Mike has excellent technical understanding of the vehicles that he is selling. Mike explained to me in details and honestly the advantages (mechanical and electrical) of the vehicle I purchased compared to other vehicles. It was because of Mike and Chuck Dufort, the sales manager, I landed a great deal on a 2018 Dodge Charger GT. This is my first lease form Shuman and won't be the last.
