Following up my other 2 reviews of the extremely unprofessional service department, after the last service appointment in April where one of the service techs took a break in my mother’s car and left it on and unlocked so the battery went dead, we have additional developments. My mother took her car to Valvoline for and oil change last Wednesday and discovered the following: the Ourisman service dept never put the cover plates back on under the car, and didn’t reinstall her oil filter correctly resulting in the car slowly dripping oil for the last 7 months. In these past 7 months, she has gotten many car washes including undercarriage washes, which makes me wonder what kind of damage has been done to the car since the cover plates have been missing? Also, how did the Ourisman service dept not notice that the suddenly had additional cover plates from a Jeep Grand Cherokee laying around? Since her conversation with Jim in service last Thursday, where she emailed him the video at Valvoline showing the missing plates and oil dripping, she hasn’t received a response from anyone at the dealership to address their blatant negligence. It’s interesting that their motto is “Ourisman Cares” as they have yet to demonstrate that they care at all.

We understand the frustration caused by the missing cover plates and the improperly installed oil filter, and we take full responsibility for this oversight. We have reviewed the situation thoroughly and have already corrected the matter by reinstalling the cover plates and ensuring the vehicle is in proper working condition. I understand that the lack of communication after your mother's discussion with Jim further added to the frustration. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and I assure you that we are addressing this internally to prevent similar situations from happening in the future. Ourisman genuinely does care, and while our actions fell short in this instance, we are committed to making it right. Friendly folks, fraudulent practices.
Friendly folks, fraudulent practices. I worked with a salesperson at Ourisman via email since I live an hour away. I made an offer just below the asking price and the sales person said it would work. I told them I would get a cashier's check from the back and they confirmed the details. I confirmed that I had the cashier's check in hand and we scheduled a time for me to come in the next day for the car. The sales person reached out again the next morning to confirm I was coming in. When I arrived with the agreed upon check in hand, the salesperson I had been working with via email immediately handed me off to another salesperson. That sales person and the manager told me the car would actually cost several thousand more. The manager hemmed an hawed about advertising and destination fees, refusing to acknowledge that I had already set a sales price with the original salesperson. They couldn't have been friendlier or more polite, but I suppose one has to be with questionable business practices like that.
