I went in to purchase a 2017 hyundai tuscon from HGreg in

I went in to purchase a 2017 hyundai tuscon from HGreg in brandon, fl. After having the car for less then a week, the AC went out. They did fix it, however it took a month to get done. Then 3 months after purchasing this vehicle, with only 60,000 miles , the transmission has gone out. I called them about this issue and asked if they would be willing to trade in or give me discount on new vehicle or look into warranty for it since it has only been 3 months, and they said that becuase of the time frame, it is as is. I financed $15,000 thinking i have a reliable vehicle. When i took it to the mechanic to look it over, besides the transmission going out, there was a bad exhaust leak in the turbo manifold, a bad battery, and other parts needing to be replaced. I expect some minor issues with a used vehicle, but not a whole transmission in a matter of 3 months. i had only made 2 payments at this time. They were not willing to help me at all. This is not good business and they basically screwed me over.

I felt it was an inefficient process.

I felt it was an inefficient process. The employees seem hourly and are told to go through their company talking points with customers. It's annoying and time wasting. They add on fees to all cars that total over $1500 for services you can do yourself and a lot cheaper. They have a lot of cars but I was unimpressed.

I would give them a zero if I could. I communicated a half dozen times with a Samantha Pita. Specifically asked if the car I was interested was still available. Was told yes. Asked her to verify, I was going to be driving an hour and a half, maybe two hours with traffic. Was told yes. Drove there, took me almost two hours in 5 o'clock traffic and they sold the car a day or two ago. The sales rep tells me Samantha works the internet and goes by what's listed online, not what's on the lot. What a stupid statement. Shouldn't what's online be what's available. Shouldn't she have checked when I specifically asked because I was going to be driving two hours? Horrible experience.

This has been the worst decision I ever made to purchase

This has been the worst decision I ever made to purchase a vehicle from HGreg. The car was advertised for $13,000 and then after all the fees and unnecessary required “this and that” my total came to $20,000! To top it all off, the vehicle is sold AS IS! No warranty no nothing. Fast forward 3 months from purchase date, car died. Come to find out it needs a new battery, new starter, new engine….i can’t believe what i have gotten myself into by purchasing from this dealer. Not only all this, the car I purchased came with no spare tire (which the sales guy promised to get me at some point…never did get it) and no manual no nothing came with the car. Horrible horrible experience which is ending up costing me double the money than if I would’ve gone to a reputable dealership which offers warranty. I have learned my lesson the hard way. It’s unfortunate for a full time single mom of 2 children struggling to survive to have to go thru this hardship on top of everything else. VERY SAD THAT THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE THIS WAY! Unethical people and business

I went to hgreg in Brandon the guy was helpful ,but not really. Then Mike Vasquez decide ro help me and made sure I understood everything.He didnt keep me hanging like the first salesman did . Mike got me approved for a newer, bigger truck and helped me with my credit being a challenge he still got me APPROVED He is my angel if u Need a car and you're not sure try looking for Mike Vasquez

Don't buy a car with them unless you want to give away

Don't buy a car with them unless you want to give away $1598 plus tax for an add on to protect paint and other stuff not needed for the operation of the car. Example. It cover dents but not the paint for the dent. Etc. It shouldn't be mandatory to purchase an add on to purchase the car. I wouldn't recommend anyone to purchase from them . Better go to anywhere else where's not MANDATORY to purchase an add on.

Price is higher than average, they say the vehicles are

Price is higher than average, they say the vehicles are inspected, however after our purchase, we discovered the start/stop function causes our Vehicle to shut off! Our passenger side front rotor was bent, AC went out after 6 months, the engine coolant light comes on and off and the warranty packages of course doesn’t cover any of it. This is frustrating to own a vehicle for one year and have these issues.

Hgreg claims to do an inspection of the lighting and all

Hgreg claims to do an inspection of the lighting and all other parts of the car they sell before selling it. With that in mind, i paid 149$ to have a 2023 Mercedes EQB shipped from West Palm store to the Tampa store and when it got there the car had condensation in the passenger headlight and the lights malfunction. As a consumer its not fair to me because i had to purchase the car before they would fix the light ... so i purchase the car but after i purchased the car & paid for shipping they said it would be 3 weeks before it could get serviced. Mind you, the car supposed to have passed Hgreg inspection of the lighting prior to being listed for sale. .... To sum it up, Hgreg lied about the inspection and i cant get a refund .and if i want to exchange for another vehicle i have to pay another shipping fee. .. They give sleezy salesmen a whole new plateau . ***pictured is the car 30 mins after i locked the doors and the lights switch was in the off position. Why is the parking lights on and why is only 1 light on , if the lighting passed Hgreg inspection ??? i feel like a victim and im hoping Hgreg get me strait. i purchased bumper to bumper warranty and insurance #TruReal (i really just want my money back, but the "5 day 500 mile worry free buying" is for exchanges only. A company with real integrity would refund me since the inspection didnt inspect.) *i got pictures of the car, a 7 yr old child would be able to see the inspection didnt inspect
