Between Sales issues, service issues, and just dealing with the run around - I am done. But dealing with y'all anytime I have to service it, and sales can't even get the car registered in my name correctly? Give me a break. Won't own a brand I can't get registered or get serviced correctly the first time it needs something more than an oil change - which I don't even know if you do those right. 2025 Crosstrek - bought April 2025 - I get pulled over in September 2025 and told the car was never registered in my name and the cop threatened to tow it. Called the dealership, was told I'd get a callback and got nothing. Went in person the next morning, they gave me a temp tag and said they'd call me. That's been over a month now and NO UPDATE AT ALL. 2021 Crosstrek (my wifes)49,000 miles. Fails to start multiple times. Take it to them, they charge 800 to do a battery diagnostic, put a battery in it, and do some computer update they say (which we have no proof of). Not even a month later, it does it again. I call, they say bring it in. Tried to blame it on my dashcam, the worker laughed at my wife when she asked if it was the starter, I had to call and talk to the service manager to even get them to do the testing (which they wanted to charge for until I talked to the manager). Waited three days, for them to call at 5pm today and say they couldn't replicate it, nothing is wrong, and to come get it but that it's been ready all day. Thats after it went through three driver side mirrors in its first year. We've never missed an oil change. I mean, even my mother in law bought a crosstrek she liked my wife's so much. My MIL has even had issues and told it was her glovebox. Never again. We will NEVER buy a Subaru because this is insanity. I don't even know if I buy one if I'd get it registered in my name.

I had an outstanding experience at Quantrell Subaru!
I had an outstanding experience at Quantrell Subaru! Monica was a fantastic communicator throughout the process, keeping everything clear and moving smoothly. But the real standout was Bob Whitt. He went above and beyond to help me not only save money but also better understand my financial situation. He was incredibly patient, thoughtful, and considerate every step of the way. I’ve truly never received customer service as exceptional as what we experienced from Bob. Thank you to the entire team at Quantrell Subaru (but ESPECIALLY Bob)!

Took my new outback in for it's first oil change.
Took my new outback in for it's first oil change. I was NOT informed that they do a complimentary car wash EACH visit. Do not do anything to someone's vehicle unless you ask! I am VERY particular with my vehicles. I said NO to a car wash when I purchased it due to not being touchless etc. I gave them an extremely clean vehicle with not a single water spot (due to having special /expensive wax applied to it a few weeks ago) and I got back a WATER STAIN SOAPY MESS ALL OVER THE ENTIRE CAR. I had to run it trough a touchless car wash (cost me more $) ASAP to get the soapy water stains off!!! If you are going to do complimentary car washes you need to INFORM/ASK the customer's permission. You can RUIN $1000 wax/ceramic coatings washing a vehicle that was just recently done! And if you do wash them, dry them so they're not getting a soapy water stain mess back! You shouldn't EVER do anything to someone's vehicle without asking!

I took my 2022 Outback to Quantrell Subaru for recall
I took my 2022 Outback to Quantrell Subaru for recall work in February 2024. After the service that sent me a message that basically said "If you can't give us "EXCELLENT" on a survey from Subaru or have any concerns please give me (service rep) a chance to make it right. If you would like to talk to my manager I can arrange that". I replied with: I am not going to "ding you" in a review but I have an issue, not with the recall work, but with the inspection. I assume it is standard practice to do the inspection every time a vehicle is brought in, even for recall work which probably, in itself, does not really need one. when i looked at the report it says that my tire pressure on all 4 tires was 35. I know that was not the case when I brought the car in. I just assumed you all had properly inflated them during the inspection and I was happy about that. After getting my car I checked the pressures to verify that you all had inflated them. The pressures were 30, 31, 31, 32 NOT 35 on all! This makes me wonder if the inspection was done at all. the one item that concerns me the most if it was not really done is the checking of the brake linings. on the inspection you are listed as the advisor and then technician is listed as Hxxxxx Cxxxx. 3 weeks went by and I received no response so I sent this: I expected some type of reply related to the message I sent on 2/28 that said: I am not going to "ding you" in a review but I have an issue, not with the recall work, but with the inspection. I assume it is standard practice to do the inspection every time a vehicle is brought in, even for recall work which probably, in itself, does not really need one. when i looked at the report it says that my tire pressure on all 4 tires was 35. A couple of weeks went by and I received no replay to that. I called to talk to the service manager, was transferred to their number and got a message that they preferred to do things via text so texted them: Hi Xxxxx, this is Wayne Beech. I had my 2022 Subaru outback in for service. I believe it was February 21 and it was for a recall and they did one of your complementary service checks and it appears that they may not have really done the service check or at least not everything on it and I got a message that said basically hey you know hope you're happy with your service. If you can't give us a five please give me a call and I texted the service manager back and explained my complaint and said at that point in time I wasn't going to ding them on a review And then about three weeks later March 20 I sent another message saying hey I kind of expected a reply to this and you know here we are a couple weeks later and I haven't heard anything back so I'm not pleased about that I would've much rather you said hey, we did recall work. Have a good day Instead of indicating that you did service check or complementary look over the car when again it appears you did not. I texted that message 2 weeks ago and no reply so, now, this is me dinging them for poor service and poor communications. I think I gave them plenty of time to explain what may have happened, or not happened. Because of this I am now taking my vehicle elsewhere.

Wayne- We're truly sorry to hear about your experience, and we appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention. Providing thorough and attentive service is paramount to us, and it's disheartening to hear that your recent visit fell short of your expectations. We apologize for any miscommunication or oversight regarding the complementary service check during your recall service appointment. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we're committed to addressing this issue promptly and ensuring that it doesn't happen again in the future. We completely understand your disappointment and frustration, and we apologize for the delay in responding to your initial message. We strive to provide timely and attentive customer service, and we regret any inconvenience caused by the lack of communication. Please know that we take your concerns seriously, and we're dedicated to making things right. The Service Manager, Tony, has been in communication with you about your tire pressure. The understanding is that you would like a more in depth explanation beyond what we able to provide. If this is not the case, please feel free to let us know. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding.
I am responding to this privately. Noone had replied to my messages prior to the response from you. The date of service was Feb 21. I do not think you understand my complaint. My complaint doesn't really have to do with specifically the tire pressure. It has to do with the fact that I was told that a number of things were checked on my car and at least one thing (the tire pressure check) was not. I am concerned that other things were not checked (like tire wear, break wear, etc.). As I stated I would have much rather been told "your work is done. have a good day" and not been told that a courtesy check had been done when it either was not or not completed done. It has been very frustrating that I got the standard "if you can't give us a 5 star review, let us know" and then I sent messages privately as not to "ding" you right off but after waiting over 2 months for a reply from the 2 or 3 attempts I made to talk to someone I decided to post the review. Because I had not gotten any response I have been taking my car elsewhere.

Had planned on getting new Subaru lease, currently have a lease, health issues forced[being a totally disabled veteran] me to purchase lease I have. The Subaru Happy family turned on me for a $500 deposit! Guess they needed all the money, plus the $500!

On 10/10/22 I paid for brake kit (brakes/rotors), along with a brake fluid flush on my front end. Also requested oil change. Quantrell stated I required a $470 package for front/rear differential fluid flush, and trans fluid flush, claiming I was due based on time and mileage. Usually this is 3-5 years, or 30-60K miles. I agreed. Forgetting that I had previously had this work done this work 11 months prior, just 7K miles ago. This service was not needed. They also were not able to see my service records from out of state, so their statements of how much time had passed or miles I had driven were factually inaccurate. On 1/10/2023 I went back for a tire rotation and car inspection for a road trip. They sold me a rear brake kit (brakes/rotors), and another oil change. My prior inspection on 10/10/22 showed the rear brake pads at 6mm, and now they were stating they were claiming they were at 2 & 3 mm, needing immediate attention. Not possible. Had my car inspected on 3/10/23 during an independent State inspection, & learned that Quantrell NEVER flushed or changed the brake fluid or changed the front brakes! I still have my brakes from 3 years ago on the car! They were measuring at 2-3mm. And the rear brakes are also my existing ones that were installed just 12 months earlier, and measured at the same 6mm. None of the rotors were replaced. I have had other questionable repair issues with this dealership.
