I went in for an oil change today.
I went in for an oil change today. I asked if they honored competitors coupons and the service manager said not usually. So I asked if he would take this one and he then said they do not take competitors coupons and told me it would be an hour and a half wait. I asked if I could leave my info and come back in then. He said no. I asked if I could make an appointment. He said they do not take appointments for only oil changes. So why have an online appointment calender on their website? He looked bored and as far as Customer Service, I will take my money elsewhere and avoid this place in the future.

Courteous, no pressure at all!
Courteous, no pressure at all! As you would expect our salesman met us at the door and queried us as to our ideas. Our salesman was Matt Knudsen and was patient. Matt knew the vehicles well and answered our questions. When the decision to buy was made the purchase process was smooth and stress free. A very good experience overall! Matt Knudsen is a nice fellow!

Went to their service department, because my Kia Rio
Went to their service department, because my Kia Rio (2014) has been leaking oil to point where I could not make it between oil changes. Service department says it must be burning oil, as Kia’s are known to do that. I show them it’s leaking and not burning, but they told me for any repairs to be covered under warranty that I would have to go through the oil consumption test process. Run the test three times (lost oil on all three, because it’s leaking), and on the third time J.R. told me to bring in as many oil change records I could get, as that’s the only way they can file a claim with Kia. So, I gather all of my car’s history, except for one place, as the owner of that oil shop retired and the shop closed. I bring in my car and my paperwork, they tell me to wait an hour (I had my 4 month old daughter with me), but we waited. Over an hour later, they tell me I’m ready, and I’m expecting to get the rundown of how long they will have my car there, but to my surprise my car is sitting there, with the engine running for whatever reason, and I’m told that the service tech guy won’t file a claim, because I didn’t have enough records…That’s it…no further help, no solutions, and they didn’t even try to hold the door open for me as I was struggling to get my daughter’s stroller out of their door and down their step (no ramps). What kind of service is that? So, because one shop closed, I can’t get any service; you have to keep every scrap of paper ever handed to you in order for them to even consider putting it under warranty. Just say Kia doesn’t have a warranty or that your techs are too lazy to do the work, because they had no problem standing there talking about banana bread in the work room.

Horrible dealership. They don't honor their email pricing. Ones you walk in they try to sell you cars 5K over MSRP. Bait and switch. Don't waste your time.

Cannot trust their prices listed, shows one price online and once we come close to the deal they come up with different numbers and not really good as compared to previous management. Never shop with them.

They botched up every part of the purchasing process.
They botched up every part of the purchasing process. 1. Initial contact - they spammed my phone on off-hours, and then couldn't answer my simple questions (e.g., what rates do you have) for over a week. I was then given to another sales specialist, who claimed the other person "is no longer with us" after my complaint. That person was still there 2. Reserving and scheduling appointments - I was told the car would be reserved. They immediately scheduled an appointment, but then said they couldn't reserve the car. They offered a convoluted process of visiting twice (before the purchase, and and during the sale). I'm not driving 4 hours total just to purchase a xxxx car. 3. Purchasing & home delivery - their website says I could purchase the car 100% online and get it home delivered. The sales specialist said it wouldn't be a problem. I felt they were unreliable, so I asked about the process. They call back about a certified check and signing papers in person... Why would I go through all that effort? Don't they have Docusign? I got fed up with them and said I would purchase it in person 4. Finalizing purchase and incorrect car description - After all the xx I went through, I decided just to go there myself. I had the money on hand and everything was supposed to be "set". Turns out the car description was incorrectly added. The excuse was that I should have looked at the window sticker... This was YOUR job. I had to walk away because of all this. I've purchased houses far less painful than this.

My wife and I had an exceptional experience in the purchase of a 2024 Kia Soul EX at this dealership. The salesman Ed Chambers was professional and courteous. Ed needed to do a dealer trade for the exact vehicle I wanted. During this process he kept me informed on the progress. He was great to work with. He was not pushy and assured I got the car I wanted. He is knowledgeable and truly enjoys the interaction with customers in providing them with a good sales experience, no high pressure. When the car arrived, my wife and I came to close the deal with Ed and the Sales Manager, Jordan Suchowski. They appraised my trade-in; no games were played that I have experienced with other dealerships. After the purchase and the necessary paperwork was completed, Ed provided a tutorial (walking us through) regarding all the functionality of the car's electronics and equipment. During that process, he answered all of our questions. We were not rushed. We then drove off knowing we made the right choice in our purchase at Castel Kia. Thank you, Ed and Jordan for providing my wife and I with an excellent sales experience.

100% positive great salesman Ed Chambers
We had a wonderful experience buying a used car for my daughter at this dealership. The salesman Ed Chambers was Awesome! He worked with us and presented the car the classic old school way by walking my daughter through the various features of the car and the options it came with. He was not hurried with us and there was no sales pressure. He is an honest and good guy that really enjoys the interaction with customers and providing a good sales experience. That was priceless to me since this was my daughters 1st car and I did not want any games played that other dealerships sometimes play. I wanted it to be a great memory for my daughter and it couldn't be better. Ed spent some special time with us after the sale was completed and my daughter and I drove away knowing we got a great deal on the car and we had a great salesman who served us well to provide the sales experience we wanted. My husband and I went to Castle Kia in McHenry Sat May 27th.because of a car they had advertised on their website. We called and was told vehicle was there. We made an appt for the next morning, saw the car and were ready to write a check , when the salesman excused himself and came back to tell us that his his manager told him that the price we saw on Castle's website and had printed with the car pic and stock number was actually going to be an additional 5 grand, due to the car shortage. We did not go there expecting to have to haggle a price, as we were prepared and ready to pay the price they advertised on their own website.. I asked our salesman)why advertise a price on the website that you know is incorrect, His response was (and I quote)"To get you in the door" I told him that was ridiculous and deceptive, and he agreed. Needless to say we left, and will never return to Castle dealership. Nowhere on their website did it state that this was a suggested price. It clearly stated Castle Kia's price.Very disappointing Kia. This experience has soured us on all Kia products. Simply stating our hard earned money will go to honest dealerships, that value their customers.
